Another lie about attempting delivery. My son waited in the living room right next to the front door. He heard the truck pull up, and looked out the window to see him parked in front of our driveway. He sat back down and waited for the driver to come to the door. Next thing he heard was the driver pulling away. He couldnt get outside fast enough to get the driver to stop. No knock, no doorbell ring, and no doortag left on the door. About 10 minutes later we checked online and it said that a delivery had been attempted. Was he out there eating lunch? Chatting on the phone? I guess he had better things to do out in front of our house that walk his lazy butt up to our door and deliver the package. We had to wait 2 more days to get our package. After several calls and complaints to FedEx, all we got was an "Im terribly sorry". There was no attempt to make it right. They could have called the driver and had him turn around. They could have sent it back out with another driver. Maybe even a refund on our shipping. Someone posted that usually only complaints get posted. Well, I will say that previous to this incident, I have always had good experiences with FedEx. And normally I would not post a complaint after just one bad experience. However, I felt that since after making several phone calls they still did not care enough to remedy the situation, it deserved a little public outcry. We pay for an expected service. If we do not get that service, then the situation should be remedied in a friendly and efficient manner. Maybe if enough people complain, and they start losing business, then they will work harder to give the service we pay them for. I for one will not ever use FedEx for shipping again. And if an online retailer offers FedEx as its only shipping option, I will shop elsewhere.

Normally I am one to give a positive review. All the pickups have been great no complaint there. We have a nice driver and all. Here is where the problem is. Deliveries. I first had my replacement phone shipped to the wrong house and even though it needed a signature they dropped it off anyways and someone tried to sell it at a pawn shop. Then I called to find out what happened and was told nobody can help me. Then I called corporate and I was told that they would look into it and call me in an hour. I waited two hours and then called back myself. When I called back the woman rudely told me she doesnt have time to help me and she will call tomorrow. She never did. I never called her back because I was done with her attitude. I called Verizon and they gave me credit on my bill even though it wasnt their problem. They sent me a second one and FedEx crushed it! They left a note on it saying "We hope this doesnt affect your delivery." NO OF COURSE NOT...the screen of my phone is only shattered. (I am now going on a week without a working cell phone.) Then the next one came and I left a note on the door to leave it behind my bush and that it didnt need a signature. When I came home the note was still there and I had no package. I went online and found it had been shipped and someone I didnt even know signed for it. Apparently they delivered it to the wrong house because this unknown person showed up at 7pm with my package. That is just the shortened version of it all. I could continue with the lying, the arguing, etc. Unfortunately this is the ONLY real FedEx close by.

Tracking number said "Delivery was attempted," but we never got a note. Next day, we got a note, and the tracking number said "Delivery attempted, business closed." Our apartment complex was not closed. Im guessing the walk to the office was too far. Checked the tracking number the next day, and nothing had changed. Went to this office to pick up my package, the lady at the desk was incredibly rude, like I was interrupting her from doing something. Refused to help me without the door tag, and once I told her I threw it out, she shrugged her shoulders and said "Well theres nothing I can do then," even though Ive never had to bring the door tag when I picked up a package. She refused to look in her system for anything, so Im not sure if she was able to look it up by my name or address. But, Ive always told them my address, and theyve gone and retrieved it from the back. Called the 1800 number, apparently the package was delivered to the front office of my apartment building. Without my knowledge or any note stating so. From the terrible customer service to the lack of communication, I dont recommend this location, or Fed Ex in general. Whenever we use UPS, theyre always jolly and helpful.

Its simple. Any package shipped to me through any other carrier always arrives on-time, and even earlier on occasion. With FedEx, I can almost guarantee that they will fail to deliver on-time and Ill spend the next day or two trying to track down my deliver. I used to love FedEx up until about five years ago... have no idea why theyve gone downhill so fast since then. **Update** (1 Day Later) So I called the FedEx shipping office, and they were surprisingly helpful in getting this shipping issue resolved. I was able to track down the location where my package was incorrectly shipped to, and by the time I called their office (the place the package was received at) to inquire about it, the FedEx delivery guy had already come by, picked up the package, and delivered it to my door. Bumped the grade up two stars; however, they still havent been as consistently good with their service as other local carriers.

I avoid FedEx at all costs, but when I do have to use them its always something, some type of excuse. In the last year 2x packages were on De-railed trains and my 2 day delivery turned into 2 week. 1x package was sent east coast. They say they cant deliver when the roads are clear and no snow, they cant deliver if there is snow, and then if theres a little snow they cant deliver. Everyone else goes to work and does their jobs, these people always have an excuse. UPS delivers my packages during bad weather, USPS delivers during bad weather, but FEDEX cant regardless if its a winter storm or clear days. These people are useless and I still cannot figure out why they are in service.

Today was terrible i was home today knowing my package was going to be delivered. I went online and checked the tracking number and it said there was an attempted delivery even though i knew this was not true. They did not knock or leave a note, so i called the 800 # and the lady said the driver will attempt a second delivery and the local office will contact me within 2 hours. During that call I was informed that the driver only works in the morning and my package would be available for pick up after 2 or i would have to wait till after the weekend for a second attempt even though i had already paid extra for the expedited shipping

So one day I decided to purchase a piece of jewelry for my gf using amazon using amazon prime to speed things up, however the driver guy never made an attempt to deliver my package and instead I had to wait 3 days after the due date of when I should be getting my item while in those 3 days im calling fed ex online and the personal local fed ex about my problem and the result was "im very sorry this happen to you, can I help you with anything else", no help what so ever so instead I have to go personal and pick my own item from the local fed ex instead of waiting and wasting my time. PLEASE USE USP OR USPS,much better services
