I would have given them a negative 5 if that was an option. This business operates in an extremely deceptive manner. When I filed a complaint about the lack of integrity and professionalism, for an incomplete job, I was called a liar. The lowly manager, James, and the owner, Jonathan, would not know what honesty was if it slapped them in the face. They failed to pack my aunts items appropriately, denied that I told the "the scheduler" what was to be packed and the movers showed up with a partial roll of tape and a couple of boxes. "James" defended the scheduler, probably a relative, to the point that he insisted she probably made more money than I did. Now I know that you do not know me but if you did, you would find the unadulterated humor in that ignorant comment. Wait, I have to pause to laugh........ That was just the tip of the iceberg! Several employees lied about the reality of the move to save their jobs. So many bad things happened with this move that I feel as if I was robbed. I guess that is the normal way to treat females and "out-of-towners". I now have to pay a professional company to pack the items, because they sure as heck did not pack them, and move them to Chicago. They lied about so many issues that it would fill a books worth of pages. This is not about the money but the principle of the matter and their lack of integrity. This company is run by nothing more than uneducated thugs, good old boys and their relatives. They are dishonest and treat the customer horribly in order to turn a couple of bucks. Oh well, what goes around, comes around, just wish I could get a front row seat to it! I would encourage anyone that has an upcoming move not to use this company. ***Just wanted to add that after I wrote this, I checked with the Better Business Bureau and they gave them a "no rating, not BBB accredited" with numerous complaints. It also shows them as a "closed business". Probably changed their dba to avoid complaints. I filed one anyway because they are definitely still running their sketchy business.

After using this company for the fourth time, I initially reviewed Two Men and a Truck with a very high rating, but have just learned they will not repair or replace my damaged king size mattress. M mattress was moved standing up, which allowed the layers of the pillow top to fold over on themselves. I noticed it right away and asked all three of the movers to examine the mattress. I filled out a claim form immediately. I told the movers I would attempt to get the layers to lay flat and if I couldnt, would call the office to follow up on the claim. The foam layers wouldnt budge, and with the big rolls in the middle, it was impossible to put sheets on it, let alone sleep on it. I finally resorted to making small slits in the sides so I could reach in and pull the layers into place and was somewhat successful at smoothing it out. Ive now slept on it for nearly three weeks and its clear the mattress is never going to be the same. Since it was an expensive mattress, I followed up with the claim office. After a volley of emails, theyve firmly stated they will not repair or replace the mattress but have offered $150 for my troubles. Since this is far less than 10% of the value of the mattress, I have chosen to take the company to small claims court instead. My advice if youre considering this company is to be sure to get pictures of all damage — whether or not the employees acknowledge the damage — and despite the lack of policy against it in their contracts, dont be nice and try to fix it on your own to avoid a claim. If they break it, they should fix it. Its really disappointing to find that a company youve selected has no value for business (and repeat business). Someone over there needs to look at what it costs to win a new customer compared to the cost of simply maintaining an existing one.

I had a very mixed experience. I feel this is not the company to use for a local move. I needed about two and a quarter hours of labor and the total for the move was 450 dollars. They bill for labor and travel time and charge 140 for just the truck. The scheduling was a nightmare. If you like how cable companies offer a window and understand they will absolutely not accommodate you what-so-ever; this wont be an issue. For me, it was a mega hassle trying to cover both ends of the move and work a full day (I get done by 230pm). I called in the morning and asked for a later time which was a consideration Id hoped for... I was told they would allow my move to float on the schedule to as late as possible in the 12-6 window but, movers showed up at 1:35pm. They left at 3:50pm and prorated themselves up to the full 2.5 hours (about 55 dollars of non-service I paid for..). Whatever. Its done. But, I will def not use them again. The movers themselves were awesome.

To TMAAT: This 5 star system should really go to 11 for Josh & Moises.... as they are excellent examples of hard working fellas. These 2 professionals could easily give classes on how to move CAREFULLY & take care of other peoples stuff/ junk. Thoughtful Caring Polite Respectful They have what I am calling a HOME OWNER attitude rather than a RENTER attitude. As a Real Estate Broker for 26 years, I can observe that distinction EASILY. 11 year veteran Moises is DEFINITELY a home owner as evident of CARE he demonstrated by brushing the feet of various items to make sure to not to track sand or small gravel on to the destinations floor. He is UNBELIEVABLE! Josh was a thoughtful young man who automatically used remarkable level of care for these heavy damn pieces of furniture they moved for me. I have your number in my phone, and wont hesitate for a minute to recommend TMAAT - M Yeager

I had an amazing experience with these guys. they were over the top nice and made sure to help me cut costs by getting everything done as quick as possible. I did not make a major move, just a 1bd apartment to another 1bd apartment but i would definitely recommend them to my friends and family. Marcus was one of the men that helped me and was so sweet, one of our pieces of furniture was a little damaged (because it was cheap hah) and he made sure to tell me how to make a damage claim and even tightened the screws on the desk to prevent further damage. over all, super positive experience

This was absolutely the worst moving experience I have ever had in my life. Our grandfathers entertainment center got broken and they refused to do anything about that. We went back to the old address after the move and they left many many boxes there, and the shed wasnt entirely cleaned out. I called them and asked them if they would get the rest of the stuff and bring it to our new home and he said that he would have to charge us for a brand-new move. The manager, Bob, did not want to do anything for us. Do yourself a favor, when its time for you to move, do not use this company.

Having had a not-so-good experience with moving my contents into storage ten months ago, I knew I needed to find a better company for moving everything back out and into my new home. I heard several people mention Two Men and a Truck, so I decided to give them a try. They were awesome!!! The price was right and they did a great job. I couldnt have been happier. There were 4 men (2 trucks) and I truly appreciate their attitudes and work ethics: Hasani Bias, Kevin Williams, Chris Stark and Theo Anderson. They were friendly, professional, hard-working and efficient.
