Moved in May of 2014 out of Tucson. Sales person who came to my house was nice, friendly, and seemed knowledgeable. After calling around, I decided to go with Abba and Sons. She and I set a date for me to make a deposit. That day came and went and I called her and she told me that she would call me back. She did, a week or two later, and asked if I had ever made my deposit. After giving her my credit card number, she told me that there was a service fee for using my card. I feel like I should have been told that before to give me the option of writing a check. The night before my move, the owner calls and asks if my stuff can be loaded the night before and asks that I pay the remaining balance in CASH. I ended up giving him a check because that made me uncomfortable. Movers show up and load everything but my bed and a few personal things that I moved myself. Nice guys. The next mooring, the owner and a different guy show up to load my bed. When my truck arrived at my destination, there is another different guy. I believed him to be hired in the town I moved to. The sales rep had assured me that their employees were well screened and permanent employees. Move went fine and the owner showed the truck was empty. After unpacking I realized one box of kitchen/baking stuff was missing. Im a woman, and I know what kitchen stuff I own. I called the sales rep and she had the owner call me. He said that the truck was empty and I got my stuff. Yes, the truck was empty, but I never got all of my stuff. The sales rep and I had arranged that she purchase one of my desks. So, I know that the desk came off at their warehouse where my truck was stored the night before my move. I assume the box either accidentally or intentionally was removed from the truck. Most upsetting was the owners unwillingness to believe me that I was missing something. I would never use this company again!

I have moved just across the street, and also across the ocean! My husband and I had 22 homes over our marriage, due to corporate life . Abba and Sons made my last move absolutely Painless . Bobby was so polite & knew exactly how to handle my furniture & boxed goods more efficiently than I had ever seen before. Jack worked so well & his friendly banter, made them a tremendous team,.....plus they move so fast! They worked straight through without a break until they had the job done. They took great caution with all of my belongings and also made sure I did not try to move anything myself ! I have health issues and they were aware of that and made sure I didnt touch a thing ! Do yourself a favor, ask Abba and Sons to handle your next move, no matter how near or far. Abba is very competitively priced and their performance speaks for it self ! Its hard today to come up with a company that exceeds expectation ..... Abba did just that. My Real Estate Broker recommended them and any Broker in the business would be wise to do the same . I used Abba & Sons for moving my office and then again a few months later to move my entire house to a different state. I have no complaints and would recommend this company highly. Zeev and his crew made the process of moving as stress free and pleasant as possible. They were very professional, packed everything up in a timely fashion, loaded and unloaded everything without damage (Other than big Ikea pieces which are impossible to move!). Any request was responded to and the crew worked very hard to make sure that everything was exactly as I wished it to be. On top of that, they all were very friendly and seemed to enjoy what they were doing, working steadily. Zeev made sure that the planning was done way in advance and he even came by a couple of times prior to the move to bring boxes and other supplies and to check on things. Zeev was flexible and accommodated our needs. Everybody showed up on time. The price was reasonable and there were no hidden costs or other surprises. I hope to never move again but if I do, I would use Abba & sons again.

Traveling Dust

We had a easy move from a two bedroom apartment, to a single level home 5 miles down the street. Went bad from the get go when Starving Students were suppose to do the job, but they sub-contracted out to these guys. Oh, no. The start time was 8 a.m. and they didnt show up till 2:30. A three man crew altogether, and no shrink wrap, or tape. One started complaining already, and the other not fit to move "himself". After the Owner had to be called, and had to come out to rescue his unfit "mover" things got worse. The outcome is this. They wouldnt take the hanging clothes, ect. in the apartment, and left the back porch with storage still needing to be moved. They left a elderly woman and her disabled daughter, with her grandchildren behind to do the rest in the car. You know what else they left behind? They were so much in a rush to leave, they left behind : hanging bar for hanging the clothes, appliance strap, and their drill. What a joke .... Thank God for Grandchildren to save the day. Peace ...

Upfront and reliable pricing - Owner did a walk through and advised purchasing as many of our own packing supplies as possible in order to save money and that made a huge difference in our final totals. No hidden fees. Owner arrived with foreman and crew at 8am exactly as scheduled for a full introduction and another walk through before the foreman went over paperwork/contract with me. As far as the moving work itself - we had a VERY difficult job: 2ND floor 3x2 moving into a 3rd floor 2x2. The crew of Lorenzo, Bobby and John were complete pros. Fast and efficient. Safe and attentive. Tireless and personable. No reasonable person could ask for more. I have moved on my own a lot in the past few years and since arriving in Tucson Ive had experience first with Abba and then another company. Especially after the great success of this most recent and extremely difficult move, I plan to usensure Abba and Sons ONLY so long as I am living in an area they will serve. Thank you, again!

Abba & Sons Moving offered not only a great deal, but provided excellent service for a difficult two-part out of state move. There was a mis-communication regarding our terms for the second part of our move and in accommodating our needs and resolving the issue, owner Zeev was apologetic and reasonable. Movers Ashley, Warren and Chris or Travis (I forget the third gentlemans name) were on time, careful, efficient and very fast in unloading and placing our items. They were friendly and 100% professional and went the extra mile in welcoming us to our new home. We really had a great experience with Abba and this was our first time using a moving company - previously we always struggled with moving on our own, fearing a potential bad experience - without question, theres no doubt that we will use them again for our next move and any moves we make within their coverage area!
