Update: I am updating my 1 star to a 4 star because of the owner. He personally called me about what occurred and was very apologetic. Because of this gesture I am willing to use this company again. I am giving them 1 star because on there website is says no trip charge if in El paso limits, my move was yet I was charged 24$. I used this company before and decided to use them again. This move I had even less stuff then my first move yet it took them 2 hours to load the truck, all my boxes were in two central locations so why did it take that long? Then they decided on my dime to get drinks and take 20 minutes to get to the new house, its 6 minutes away from my old house. Once at my new house they stood around talking and doing really nothing for another two hours. My first move cost me 148 with them, this one 320...just ridiculous. They lost my business and I am going to contact the BBB about them. Update: After unpacking, I discovered my cats cat-tree is broken! The top perch was ripped off then wrapped with packing wrap so I didnt notice it was broken at first. My husband and I have tried to repair it but we cant, the cat tree was 300+. The next item we have discovered is broken is our dresser, we have had it 3 years and it didnt brake until this move. The whole back of the dresser completely fell off. Im now afraid to open my boxes that were marked fragile. Update 2: As I have started unpacking, I have found boxes in wrong rooms, things marked garage are in my bedroom. Bedroom boxes in the kitchen...how unexpierenced were these movers?

Contrary to other reviews on this site, I couldt have asked for a better experience. My moving time was scheduled between 9 am and 10 am and the moving team arrived as expected. My belongings were loaded up and the team was ready to go within 15 minutes of pulling up! The team was extremely professional, courteous and friendly. My furniture, which included a tempurpedic bed, mechanical platform, and a bedroom and living room set including a couch was handled with complete care even while they carried the furniture up 3 flights of winding stairs. Including driving time, the entire job was finished in less than 90 minutes for a one bedroom. There are several individuals showing pictures of damaged furniture however when I scheduled my move, I did ask if the movers would need me to have my furniture wrapped and covered or if it was a service they did. She told me I could do it myself or I could have them do it but I needed to let her know so that she could include that in the order. I would advise anyone who is getting their furniture moved by any moving company to wrap their own furniture that way you can rest assured that you have protected your furniture. At the end of the day, you need to protect your investments. When the team arrived they were already prepared to wrap and cover my furniture but I had already did it so that also saved me time and money.

I originally ordered a pack & move. That information was not given to the move team and they arrived unprepared to pack anything (no boxes or packing supplies). As credit to the move team, they tried their best to make up for the mistake, but it was not much they could do, considering they did not have the correct materials. A one day move, turned into a two day move in which I was charged two different prices and it became a complete inconvenience. As I unpacked my items, I found that several keepsakes were broken. This is disheartening as these items were purchased on overseas trips and cannot be found in America. I have a very expensive, marble dining table that was cracked during the move. Another item that will be hard and costly to replace. This move was stressful and has cost more than the two different prices I was charged.

John Ferguson and his moving company has moved me, my 2 sisters, my brother and 2 of my cousins. Six different moves, all fully furnished 3bd -4bd homes. Most of these jobs required Johns movers to provide boxes and pack. John and all his guys (I think weve met them all) are really just some of the most helpful, humble and hard-working guys around. A couple of his guys are so strong is scary. My cousin had a hot tub that they lifted over a wall! Unbelievable! But not only that they just work in a very systematic way. They pad up everything and are very careful. Theyre really efficient and boy do they use every inch of space when theyre loading the truck. Everyone in my family has been very pleased with the service they received from John Ferguson and his crew of movers. Great guys. Best movers in El Paso hands down.

I had a great experience with John Ferguson Moving. Setting up my appointment was very easy and everyone I spoke to by phone was patient and explained the process well. I hired a 2-man & truck crew for my 900 sq. ft apartments worth of stuff for an in-town move. The two movers, Jose and Adrian, were professional, polite, and did not take any excessive breaks. It was a very hot day and they were cheerful and helpful the entire time. The move took a little longer than I expected (3.25 hours), probably due to how I packed, but all my belongings arrived undamaged and put mostly in the right rooms. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for similar services. I realized I did not take a receipt from the movers that day, so I called the next day to request one and he emailed it to me immediately. Thank you!

Originally did not book this company because I had tried calling a few times and had no answer so had to go with another company. That is my only complaint. The other company ended up not showing up so I called John and he was able to fit me Into the schedule the next day. Even better , they were able to come earlier than scheduled . They moved all of our stuff from a three bed, two bath house to a second floor apartment in under three hours. They were nice and respectful and there wasnt any damage to our things. If I had been able to get ahold of them in the beginning , this would be a five star review. I am very happy with the service

I booked my appointment a month ago, but on the move date, I have no movers show up. The manager apologized and promised movers the next day at 8:30am, and my move will be their top priority. The next day comes, still no movers show up at the promised time. I had to call the manager 3 times for him to answer the phone at 9:00am, he sounded frustrated by me and just said--they are busy and they are on their way. At the end, they were 50 minutes late. "Schedule" and "promise" are clearly just jokes. The actual move went well, our movers were fast and very helpful. 5 stars for the actual movers. 0 star for the management team.

The movers themselves and john were very nice and courteous. I will give them that, unfortunately half of our items were broken, damaged very badly and missing. We had our stuff put in storage as our move out and move in date was a week apart. they place all your belongings just in an open storage area with other peoples belongings so some of our things ended up missing and we never got them back. when we confronted them about this they were being compliant but in the end we never got our items back.. they are very cheap when it comes to price but definitely not worth the hassle!
