This review is a little late coming, but we decided on hiring the Delivery Doctors to help us move in July of 2013. Out of all the moving companies we called, upon our first impression from the initial phone calls, they seemed to be the best combination of flexible, professional, and good pricing (many others are way overpriced). The Delivery Doctors were clear about how they charge right up front, whereas other moving companies sometimes wanted to come inspect what they would be moving first. Considering we only had some basic living room and bedroom furniture, such a request seemed silly to us. We were very clear that we lived in a small apartment and didnt have a ton of large furniture to move, so we passed right over the ones who wanted to send out someone to give us a quote. The Delivery Doctors were much more willing to take our word for what we had to be moved, which meant a lot to us. As for their rates, at the time we called, which, again, was July of 2013 (keep in mind rates have probably changed since then), their charges were $70 to rent the truck in general, no matter how long it takes, then another $70 per hour of labor after that. Even with the separate truck rental charge, it still turned out to be a better value once we hit 2 hours of work than any other company we had checked out. The two guys who helped us out were named Mike and Rob. They were pretty cool guys and, for the most part, they didnt just stand around talking to us unless we initiated the conversation, except for once or twice. They also helped us disassemble the headboard from our bed, which we were having a lot of trouble doing ourselves for some reason, which was very nice of them. They moved fairly quickly and efficiently and I did not notice any point where they banged or damaged any furniture. The only thing I noticed after the move was complete was a loose door on our TV stand/entertainment center, but its possible that it was just loose to begin with and the slight agitation from transporting it gave it the final kick it needed to be noticeably loose. Its not something which is easy to fix, unfortunately, but we cant be sure that it got damaged because of anything the movers did. Our experience with Mike and Rob was very pleasant. I would give them 4.5 out of 5 stars if I could, just because of the few small things I mentioned, but since thats not an option I am much more willing to round up to 5 than I am to round down to 4. We made sure we offered them drinks and kept communicating with them and making sure they knew they were appreciated. Im not sure if that helped and if they wouldnt have done as professional of a job otherwise, but at least from our experience, it was good enough that we will absolutely to go them first the next time we need to move. The rating reflects the latest move since I have used this company four times and never had a problem til this last move. The movers were all polite and seemed alright until the move actually started. They dinged the ceiling that left a mark and also a bedroom wall. When we got to the new location things started to go very wrong. At one point a man I did not know who is a neighbor started talking to one of the movers and went down to the truck with him. I was alone so had no one to watch them. I had many things missing that were obviously stolen by either this man who had his wallet out or the movers. In addition, they slowed way down and so I was charged an extra half an hour for a very small move, the most expensive move to date. I stupidly tipped them twenty dollars each. After they left I found they damaged a new piece of exercise equipment, my mattress had been dropped and dragged in some dirt and other minor damage to things Ive had this same company move with no problems whatsoever. I will never use them again and would recommend the management start listening to their customers since they have some very dishonest people working for them. Make sure you have someone watching the movers at all times if you decide to use this company.

In response to McMahon! This customer decided to call two and a half weeks later after her job to make a claim. The alleged damage involved a table leaf that was not even in when our crew moved it. Our guys did her a favor by trying to attach the leaf for her. It did not line up properly but that had nothing to do with any negligence on our part. We placed a patio chair at her direction, she watched us move it and set it down . If this customer had about 50 boxes in front of her, why was she able to direct our guys where to place things?? And why did she call two and a half weeks later to report these so called damages?? Not sure what to think of this because she went under a completely different last name than what appears here.

Used Delivery Docs multiple times and both Erin and John are great. Also recommended them to friends that were also satisfied. Outside of the owners, the employees that actually do the moving, they have good customer service skills. They act respectfully and get the job done. I am getting ready to recommend them to a colleague that is moving to Phoenix and was surprised to see the low rating. My experience has been 100% positive with them four times over.

We called and wanted to get prices to move to phoenix from tucson. the rep refused to give us any prices over the phone and just said it will be a $1000 or more for 2 bedroom apartment no mention on how much the hourly rate or anything as far as how did they get to that amount. not very helpful and rude to expect customers to just hand you money without knowing anything about the breakdown of the charges. Very shady ... i will not use your services.

Ive used the Delivery Doctors four times and have had wonderful service. Im about to use them again hopefully for the last time (Im tired of moving), and have no qualms about using them. Not once has anything been damaged. They are also the cheapest in town by a long shot. Cheap price, excellent service. What more can you hope for?

We are very satisfied with the job done by this company. They were very flexible and understanding when dates changed and were available on short notice without charging extra. They have upfront pricing and they are friendly courteous and professional. We will use them again!!! Thanks!

Weve used Delivery Doctors twice for moving in Tucson, AZ and both times went great. They brought the perfect size team for the job and the price was great for the time it took. I would recommend calling them first for moving in Tucson.

We dealt with this firm at a sale of used furniture. They were rude. I would never use them to move my family treasures. Learn some basic manners.
