These guys are awesome. I was in a tough situation trying to find a moving company at the last minute during peak moving season for the Army. The transportation office couldnt help and no other moving company was able to move my stuff in less than a weeks notice. However, A-1 Freeman, more specifically, Walt, helped me out and did everything he could to make sure my house was pack and moved. Im extremely grateful for their hard work and would recommend those movers to anyone above all else. Thank you Walt, and A-1 Freeman! UPDATE: To whom this may concern, My household goods were just delivered in Fayetteville, NC. This delivery was by far the worst experience Ive ever dealt with in regards to this move. The delivery men were both rude and unprofessional to my family and I. When they arrived for delivery they smelled of cigarettes and as if they had not used personal hygiene. Aside from that upon delivery when we asked if they would take the boxes, the workers dumped our stuff in the middle of the floor in a pile. Our clothes, mixed with bathroom items, combined with whatever random stuff, all dumped into one large pile. This experience was beyond horrible and will reflect on A-1 Freeman as a whole (at destination) due to the fact they contract these drivers. I dont feel these drivers should handle military moves or need to be retrained. Below are a few photos we took of their delivery standards.

The staff were nice enough, but details were missed. There was no discussion of arranging for uncrating items, and I was told that empty boxes would be removed but then the delivery driver said he didnt have room. After the delivery driver called, I had to spend four days finding a place for the truck to park and then arrange for two small trucks to ferry from the semi to my house (AT MY EXPENSE)....I had told the folks at origination that we would need a box truck for delivery but that did not seem to have been communicated to anyone. Packing was only fair -- and one broken item was not on the inventory list -- convenient. Moving is always stressful -- but some companies appear to me more into making sure the ENTIRE trip is satisfactory -- and this originator seems to have been focused only on the origination aspect.

Phenomenal is the first word that comes to mind when I think about my experience with A-1 Freeman. I could not have asked for a less stressful moving experience than the one I received with this company. There is no one here that has not gone out of the way to answer questions or provide me with any help I needed every step of the way. The customer service is so wonderful and fast it seems as if they are only working on your move. I know this is not the case as A-1 has garnered many awards and was selected to move the Super Sonics to Oklahoma where they became the Thunder. The team that they have put together here are full of moving all-stars. Give them a call and let them prove that my review is 100% spot on.
