I want to start by saying that I have taken my car here 3 times. The first time was a very positive experience, although a bit overpriced. I wish I had never taken it back. The reason it was bad was the customer service. I took my car to Mountain View Garage the second time to check out why my battery was being drained. I asked them to look at my cooling system over the phone as an afterthought. I had to top off my coolant reservoir every week or two. They found a leak in the radiator. They traced the battery draw to the dashboard. For them to go further it was going to cost around $800 just to find the short. They quoted me $542 for a new radiator. I didnt have the money at the time, and my car was drivable so I told them to hold off. They charged me $68 for the diagnosis. When I picked the car up I felt like Mike made it a point to tell me that they spent more time than they usually do on diagnostics. I was appreciative. I live about a mile away from the shop. When I got home the car was still not up to normal operating temperature. I parked the car and let it run while I listened to the radio for a few minutes. I looked out the windshield and saw steam coming from under the hood. I looked at the temp gauge. it was hot and climbing rapidly. I knew I wasnt going anywhere soon so I moved it to another parking spot real quick (see pic). I called MVG. The receptionist told me I would have to get it back there for them to look at it. It took me a while to get it back there bc I had a surgery and I was back in Oklahoma for a week. When I finally got it back there Mike just told me the same quote he gave me on the radiator before. I told him that something was different when I got it back. He told me they looked at it and nothing else was wrong. I gave the go ahead on the radiator on a Friday just before noon. He told me if they didnt get the part Friday, then it would be there on Monday. On Tuesday Mike called me around 11:00 am to tell me that he had to add another $170 for a new fan. Apparently my fan had stopped working. He dropped this last minute bomb on me like he does it all the time. He didnt acknowledge that I tried to tell him something else was wrong, It took longer than he told me it would, and it cost more. I understand these things happen, but these things werent even acknowledged. There was no "Sorry to tell you", or "I know I sad this". I felt like he talked down to me when I brought it back to them. He said "This is why you brought it to us last time". He said it like I was dumb. The first time I went there another person was working there. I havent seen him since, but he was really nice. Since dealing with Mike there has been one problem after another. I dont feel like he listened to me. I did what I had to do to get my car out of their shop and I will not be coming back.

My girlfriend has a 97 Honda Civic, after she moved up here from Monument, Colorado she had a hard time finding a trustworthy garage to take her car to. She was driving all the way down to Colorado Springs to her old garage, because the couple she had tried in this area had always seemed to try and jerk her around. I did a bit of research and found Mountain View and we havent looked back since. From the first phone call theyve always been polite, understanding and trustworthy to myself and my girlfriend. When shes taken her car in because of a "funny sound" they listened carefully to her explanation and even suggested that one of their techs ride with her so she can point out the noise, as "she knows her car the best" as they stated. After they looked at it they called her up and talked her through exactly what they suggested to do and what they saw. When she picked her car up, they put it back up on the rack for her and actually showed her everything they did in a very friendly manner. I would highly recommend Mountain View, theyre one of the few places Ive found that seems to try very hard to take care of their customers and do things the right way.

I had an overheated engine during the last big freeze and was concerned I had done major damage to my 05 Chev Avalanche. I had already located Mountain View Automotive online and found it to be less that a mile or so from where I had parked my truck when it overheated, waiting to be towed. I conveniently made an appointment online describing what was going on. I spoke to Shawn when I got to the shop and left my truck with them. It seems to be that the problem was something that had been going on for a while and the cold weather had just made it worse. Shawn kept me informed along the way and I had my truck back within a couple of days. I got a detailed service report when the work was completed, and best of all I was told there was a 36mo/36,000mile warranty! I was completely happy with the work and price I was charged. I just moved to the Denver area and was relieved to know that I had found a dependable auto shop that I could rely on for any future automotive needs! The day I took my truck to the shop, I got home and found that I had a coupon in the mail for a generous discount on the work they did!

I drive close to an hour to get to this shop but would not trust any other service station. I come from a family of a Bosch Authorized Service Center in another state and have grown up witnessing the nightmares (vehicles) that barely made it in for service after having repetitive work done at other service stations who claimed to have knowledgeable technicians. The Bosch name that this shop carries (and there are not many in Denver), along with "AAA" and NAPA, are more than appropriate for what Mountain View Garage provides. I have two vehicles (GMC and Subaru) that I take to this shop for preventative maintenance and major services. These appointments are always completed promptly, for a fair price, and with a quality I can trust. The mechanics and service writers always take time to explain procedures and work that needs to be done both immediately and down the line. I need to know that I can rely on my vehicles and believe whole heartedly that you can only rely on something when you know youve taken care of it exceptionally well. Well worth the commute from anywhere in the Denver area. Thanks MVG!

First time I had my car here I thought the service was good. It was a little high on price I thought, but for good service I was fine with the price. Second time I brought my 2007 Nissan Maxima here I was completley blown away by what Chris told me was wrong with my car. My struts were making a popping noise when wheels turn left to right and over small bumps ect. I told the man who checked me in that the mounts were the only part it could be because springs and struts were new but the mounts were not. Chris calls me later that day and tells me that I would have to go to a Frame or Auto body specialist because my unibody on my car was the problem and he could do nothing for me. I though that was an odd diagnosis. Got a second look at it and found it was the strut mounts that were bad and the spring seats needed lithium spray for lubrication. So if Chris would have tried, he too could have found the obvious problem and kept a customer. But he did not take the time to inspect the struts. Next time take the strut out and look at it, fix the obvious and save the BS.
