We came to this shop to repair A/C and replace tires. However, several other issues were found. The technician told us there was a leak for power steering fluid, and he needed to replace the front struts, however, he directly charged us over $1000 which was for replacing both front and rear struts without giving us a choice only replacing the front struts. He also charged us for life-time alignment directly without giving us a choice of one-time service. I overheard from the frontal guy who explained the one-time service choice to other customers and requested to change our service to one time. We had to come back to this shop for a couple of times after the service since the power steering wheel vibrated after his service and the car started smoking... We ended up spent close to $3000 without even having the A/C repaired. The manager was nice, he refund us the charge for A/C.

Last October I came here had to get all foyr rotors and pads replaced. Month later had to go back because the front pads were making noise. The put new "better" pads on and it was fine for awhile. Fast foward to today (3/8) brought my car to a mechanic because the noise came back. Come to find out from the mechanics mouth Firestone used "dirt cheap" rotors and pads. Half the pad was already half gone four months in. Come to find out whoever installed my pads at Firestone wrongly installed the inner portion of the pad(installed it upside down). Besides the emissions, oil change, and alignment dont come here to get your car fixed. Find a good mechanic that know his craft and can work with you on price.

Stay Away! In a pinch, I brought in a tire with a nail in the tread (nowhere near the sidewall); these scumbags said that the bead of the tire was no good, and that it could not be repaired. They claimed I would need to purchase a new tire. After telling them not to do anything, I brought the exact same tire to Town Fair Tire, who promptly fixed the puncture, without batting an eye. Either Firestone employees didnt know that the tire was good, or were intentionally attempting to scam me (I thought these people stopped that kind of stuff back in the 1990s...). Either way, of course, this means I dont want them anywhere near me or my vehicle. Do yourself a favor, and find another shop.

I have read the previous 2 reviews and I am not attempting to contradict them at all. However my experience was FANTASTIC. I had brought my car with a flat to Town Fair in Rocky Hill. It is now day 6 and they cant do anything for me and the customer service there was God awful (I do customer service for a living!). I called Firestone, where the tires (rare and performance tires- Pirelli P Zero Nero 235/35R19) were initially installed. Spoke to Kevin. He said he would make some calls. It was less than 5 minutes when he had called me back, had located the tire, and ordered it for the fastest possible delivery. Couldnt have been happier.

Got a flat 130 miles from home. Called Scott (manager) shortly after arranging a tow about my car coming in on a flat bed for tire service. He and Ken (service manager) were incredibly efficient ~ my car had a new tire in 15 minutes and they honored the road hazzard warranty I purchased through my local Firestone. AND they were incredibly patient dealing with the anxiety that comes with leaving half your family behind because only one person could fit in the tow truck. Hope to never see them again, but I HIGHLY recommend this place because Scott and Ken turn a terrible situation into a positive experience.

Had given my car for an oil change and after i got it back, saw a pool of engine oil under the car. When i looked under I saw that the oil was dripping from the drain plug. I took the car to them and they put it up on the jack and told me that its coming from somewhere above, near the oil pump and they wanted $125 to find out the root cause. I wasnt convinced and took the car to the Midas shop and they immediately told me that the Drain Plug was loose. This is a real shoddy work by the Firestone guys and they are looking to fleece money and nothing else. I would never bring my car here again.

I went in for an oil change. Came out with a somewhat inaccurate report of my brakes. I was told the brakes needed changed. This was accurate. But I was also told the rotor needed changed. This was definitely not true. I decided to change brakes and rotors on own. I was able to buy brakes and rotors for half the cost at a local store. The rotors were in nearly perfect condition. I also found several loose bolts after the shop had my car. Im not planning to get back to Firestone in Bloomfield again.

I went with my husband both elderly I was very skeptical about getting car tested for emission on car my daughteris giving me > i was treated very kindly very quickly staff all looked clean andand nicely dressed spoke clearly what a TREAT place is clean and welcoming Job was done fast and bim bam bum we were done FIRST class when we need new tires IT will be the place who would have thought that Firestone would give an old lady such a pleasure.Seldom in this hurried fast electronic world

Did not seem happy to take the wheel alignment coupon, though it was valid. After i showed it was valid, he said it was valid with tire purchase, not true. Then reluctantly took my keys and threw it on the table. I said thank you, may I have my keys back. He said here it is have a nice day.

Sloppy, shoddy, overall dishonest work. Staff attitude was confrontational & less than friendly. Also, they left my car unlocked after servicing leaving it open to the public for over a 1/2 hour. Wont be bringing my vehicle here ever again.
