This past June 2016, my 21 year old daughter decided she wanted to buy her first car with her own money. She found what appeared to be a good deal. However, my knowledge of servicing automobiles does not extend beyond take it to a reputable Dealer or Service Center for maintenance and repairs. I convinced the Used Car Dealer to let us take it for a test drive and so we could have it inspected. I drove the car directly to Modern Tire in Rocky Hill. After the inspection was complete, the Service Advisor (Michael) explained in detail easy to understand why my daughter should not buy that car. Modern Tires inspection revealed significant rust to the cars frame that was not readily visible from my first inspection. Significant on such a level that it would have been disastrous for anyone who was driving that car when (not if) the frame broke. My daughter saved some money by not buying that car. Modern Tire saved my daughters life.

After shopping around at several tire retailers I settled with Modern tire strictly on their excellent customer service. Carlos an employee there was excellent and basically took it upon himself to make sure I got the best promotion available at that time. It is very rare in todays world to witness in person an old school way of providing proper customer service. Carlos had empathy and assured me several times that they would take care of my needs like if it were their own vehicle. Modern tire scored big with attaining such an empathic and dedicated employee like Carlos. Defnitely a place I will do business with again. Please visit facility and ask for Carlos. You will not be disappointed.

DO NOT TRUST – PRICE GOUGING AND UNNECESSARY SERVICES ADDED ON I brought my car in for a check engine light and no heat. I was expecting to need a thermostat. After nearly 2 hours, here’s what I got: - Confirmed need for a thermostat - Total Estimate of $636 for following: o Replace thermostat and gasket o Radiator flush and fill o Front-end alignment and 4 wheel balancing (Tires were new 4 months ago and alignment done, not that it couldn’t have gone out but…) o Information access fee o Additional time I did not have the work done here fortunately but still had to pay $162 just for diagnostics. I had the thermostat replaced for under $200 elsewhere.

I purchased tires for my sons car at Modern Tire a few months ago. Last week we took his car in because a couple of the tires seemed to be wearing down prematurely. Carlos was amazing. He assessed the tires and said that it was most like the alignment that had beaten these tires so quickly. He didn’t just pro-rate the cost for the replacements, he actually gave them to me at his cost and, in addition provided a free alignment. I felt like he really cared about our safety – he wasn’t there to just make a buck. I will always recommend Modern Tire, I will always go back there. Tires are a commodity, but service is what sells them.

We all have limited time to do the necessary things in life....like get new tires! I waited so long and mine were beyond "bald" and the good folks at Modern Tire did a fantastic job, were quick, reliable, competitive and most importantly, did what they said they were going to do within the time they promised! They made it easy from drop off to pick up. Also, I got to deal with the awesome Derek! The fact that he followed up with me a week after to make sure everything was perfect (which it was), made all the difference to me. You absolutely can go anywhere to get new tires, but why would you when there is Modern Tire...and Derek!

I Always go to Modern tire for my oil changes because its fast and everyone there remembers my name. Joe Fiumara always goes above and beyond to make me feel welcome. I had mentioned my car was making a noise and was expecting them to find something. But they said everything was fine and my vehicle is driving great. I was relieved that there was nothing wrong and my family was safe for my summer vacation. They used my rewards points to cover my inspection and oil change so it was no charge except for tax. This place is great and have recommended family and friends as well.

I use Modern Tire for oil changes and Tires, and all other auto issues. I work with Michael Lionetti there and he is always courteous, and knowledgeable. I never feel pressured into getting other service that I may not need. He explains the estimate for the work I need, and points out other things I need to consider that will prevent further larger repairs later. The waiting area is clean and pleasant an love the fact there is free coffee. I wouldnt go anywhere else or deal with anyone besides Michael Lionetti. Great Service.

My Husband and I stopped here for am oil change this morning . Was greeted and taken care of . Very happy with that . The gentleman who took his information was behind the counter was very helpful . The shop is clean . Being this was our first time at this location so far we were taken back on the niceness and the gentleman who did the oil change send him a link to his phone on his work and what is needed to be done . Which was very cool and a nice touch to the service. Was a positive experience ! Very happy as well !

We have been bringing our vehicles to Modern Tire for the past few years to their Rocky Hill location. Once again I left satisfied and feeling that my vehicle was safe for the road. I was experiencing a noise coming from the engine area on startup. With $$$ dancing in my head they called to tell me it was a minor belt adjustment. The staff is professional and honest. Dan Iacobucci, Edwin and Management are the ones to get recognition! My family and I have been coming to the Rocky Hill location for 4+ years I can truly say they go above and beyond. They are honest, fair and 100% professional. They have helped on numerous occasions when my suv should have been in the shop for at least a day and was out in a matter of time due to time restrictions. Talk about a team whom takes pride in their work and has a huge sense of urgency. I would recommend them to everyone!

Im from out of town and unfortunately ended up getting a flat tire when visiting. I went in and received help from a sales associate Daniel Iacobucci, he was very helpful and knowledgeable. As a female sometimes people in the car industry feel they can pull a fast one and I didnt feel I was being taken advantage of. If Im ever in the area again and need any type of assistance related to my car Ill definitely choose this Modern Tire location to go to again.
