I had 4 older tires on my car that needed to be replaced soon. A nail gave me a flat earlier today and it was finally time to pull the trigger so I called around to check prices at a few places. I called Midas around 3:15 and they said they closed at 5:00 but could fit me in. They replaced all 4 tires and I was back on the road just before 5. Their prices were competitive with most places and they gave me two free oil changes plus free tire rotation for the life of the tires. I see a lot of people only write reviews of places when they have bad experiences, but I wanted to share the good experience I had at the Middletown Midas. I dont know why the other reviewer Seth went here and not a local mechanic for a head gasket repair to begin with, but for basic service like an oil change, brakes, and tires, I would highly recommend them.

We used this shop a our mechanic for the 7 years we lived in CT. They were alway very honest and provided repairs in a timely fashion. Gene was there for the entire time we were going and he was excellent in customer service. I am shocked to see that this place doesnt have better ratings. We would still be using this shop if we were living in CT. This place restored my confidence in being able to search and find an honest auto repair shop.

Car needed a head gasket repair. The mechanic couldnt explain to me why overheating = bad head gasket. he had to get back to me. Then when they took the engine apart to fix it they took the oil pan off. Not necessary. Then they told me I could just leave the car with them and not owe anything if I didnt want to pay for the rest of the repairs. I took it and brought it to a local mechanic that knows what the hell theyre doing.

I recently brought my car to Midas with a check engine light on. I was due for an emissions test so I wanted to have it fixed. They repaired it quickly and for much less than the dealership. They even did the emissions test right there and it passed. The service was good and everyone was friendly. I will definitely be going back there when my car needs service.

Been coming to this shop for many years with multiple cars. They are always fair and honest with me. The mechanics come out to speak with me in a funny and open way, I appreciate having a place like this to take my car where I know I am not being taken advantage of.

I found the service outstanding! I went in for emissions test and rear tires and got a free oil change, a lot of help on other problems and prices were far better the Tri-town Tire that I went to before. They gals at the desk and the mechanics are awesome!

Great staff and mechanics. They not only assess your vehicle thoroughly but assist in advising based on your current situation. For example what are major safety issues verse something you can get away with waiting a few months to save and fix later
