Unbelievable lack of customer service! I reserved a truck a week in advance, but when I showed up at 9 AM Saturday morning to pick up the truck, I was told that the truck wouldnt be there until 11 AM. Trying to put a positive spin on a frustrating turn of events, we went to breakfast and returned at 11 only to find that the Penske representative had not checked on the truck at all during that two-hour period. upon our return, he began an inquiry to find that there would be no truck delivered to our location. At 11:30, we were told that if we drove to Stuart (a 45-minute drive), we could pick up a truck there. What we werent told was that the Stuart shop closed at noon, so when we arrived there, the shop was closed and all we could do is look at the truck locked behind the fence, and begin procuring a truck from a real truck-rental company for the next day. Total lack of customer service! Three days later, I still have not received an apology from anyone at Penske...

DONT DO IT!!!! Lost all of my furniture along with some irreplaceable family pictures due to this place flooding from Hurricane Irma. I had actually rode past the plaza that Storage King is in after the hurricane passed and saw that the parking lot was flooded. I was not notified until 5 days (Friday after Irma hit) later that the facility sustained water damage. They emailed a notice to vacate, but didnt offer any reimbursement of Septembers rent, which was paid for BEFORE Irma hit, ignored emails inquiring about compensation, didnt offer free or discounted use of their Penske trucks....NOTHING!!! Like others said, they do not inform you of flood zone nor do they give you the CHOICE of level of insurance. The only thing good I will say is that the facility is spacious and has high ceilings, but none of that matters when you lose everything but your clothes and shoes you have with you.

THIS PLACE IS IN A FLOOD ZONE!! After Hurricane Irma units completely flooded out. They force you to buy $9/month insurance that DOES NOT cover flooding. Unit is in flood zone and never notified. The words from the person on the phone was sorry about your luck. Will never waste my money here again! Any bit of flooding and you will lose all your items! Even the items in the "climate controlled" area were completely ruined. Pay a few $ and get a better unit! They claim it is mother nature which it is but if you dont offer insurance that covers flooding you are ripping people off! Limited access to the unit and dumpsters everywhere area complete joke. Very disappointed!

Great prices but I would not rent if your items could get ruined in a flood. Thanks to Hurricane Irma, our unit was flooded with water a foot and a half. Definitely did not know that this was a common issue in this area of town or else I would have gotten a unit somewhere else that was higher ground. I know the storage company cant help natural disasters but I wish it was mentioned to us before renting the ground level unit. Great if you have waterproof stuff youre storing!

Rented a 10 x 10 unit. Im pleased so far. Its air conditioned and the price was better than a lot of others that I checked. My unit is close to a door so unloading was a breeze. I dont know if I would have been as happy had it been deep into the storage area. The clerk was friendly and helpful.

Only because of their pricing. They say $25.00 a month, however, they forget to mention that you MUST buy insurance for an additional $10.00 a month. $35.00 is not a good price. Found a nice, safe, clean storage in Fort Pierce for $27.50 a month, no insurance necessary!
