DO NOT USE if you want your stuff delivered on time!!!! Allied wants your business right up until the time that they actually get it, and then its down hill from there. Started off a little sketchy with unreturned phone calls and less than expected follow up but I didnt feel too concerned because they were generally apologetic and friendly...up until packing and move time. Packing crew showed up late, took numerous smoke breaks, and left cigarette butts all over yard. Moving day (a Friday) started out okay with truck arriving early, but an hour or so in driver alerted me that local agent (Great Plains Moving & Storage) had underestimated load size by 200 cubic feet, and he didnt think he could get it all on the truck. What??? Called agent and they initially refused to send another truck until they new for sure that everything wouldnt fit, despite me and the driver telling them so. Had to get everything out of my house as I was flying out the next morning, but that didnt seem to sink in to them. Spoke to Sales Rep who promised to look into and call back, but never did. Still hasnt called back to this day! Finally sent another truck late in the day, with only a driver so I had to help load. Driver didnt handle items with care at all, however had no choice but to let him take stuff as I had an early flight next day. Called agents office next business day and no one had done anything to arrange for follow up load. Spoke to person identified as right under the top guy, and he was no help, but did tell me that I should be thankful that they are moving the rest of my stuff - the stuff that they didnt estimate properly - for free. Spoke to Allied Customer Service - again no help. Spoke to person who called after I left message on Allied Office of The Presidents voicemail - again no help. Still havent received final shipment, but have been told to expect it by April 10th, nearly two weeks after original delivery window, and Allied appreciates my business so much that they arent willing to discount move at all. Again, cannot stress point enough - do not use, and if you do, BEWARE!

Avoid at all costs. Their people walked off the job 2 days before I had to move and didnt even have the decency to tell me. I called their boss and she said they were not going to move anything of mine. So this left me with a problem of flying out in 2 days and all of my belongings left with my family. 1 week after I left they picked up my car without approval and demanded the keys from my mother stating they had a document stating I was hiring them to move just my car. I was never given a quote on the price and had not even hired them in the first place to do it. I was still getting quotes from other places. I hear nothing from them until the day before my car arrives and surprises me because I hadnt hired anyone yet to move it. Now I get a bill and I tried calling and talking to the company to figure out who sent the guys to get my car. Its now 9 months later and they are sending me to their collections department and I finally have a copy of the "contract" I signed stating they could move my car. Problem is that the signature isnt mine. They even misspelled my name on the signature. I called and talked to the big guy upstairs at the company and as the other lady Nancy had told me, they will look into it and get back to me. The only way they have ever gotten back to me is a letter or email asking to be paid. I never hired them to move the car and after consulting a lawyer about this I may be moving forward with an auto theft report even though I do have the car now. Avoid dealing with this company.

Thank you Allied Vans for deleting my postings. Attention all future Allied vans thinking of being customers you need to read this post. Thanks to Allied Vans My families trip form Florida to Maine was in hopes to receive our furniture, beds act all in time when we got there. However we had to sleep on the floor for almost a month. When they did finally arrive My families furniture was damaged and irreplaceable it is family furniture that was built specifically and can not be redone. Our items were not in the truck they were accidentally delivered to another family we had to wait for them to get them returned. So to sum it all up. This company lies to you telling you that everything is packed and packed into a truck ready for your moving trip well they really unload your item,s and stack other sites on top so you have squished broken boxes damaged furniture. This company will not do what is right and make it right. Thank you Allied for not doing your part and placing the right claim into the insurance saying you will only pay $150 for over 3000 in damages that we can not repair or replace. we counted and trusted your company to take care of our stuff like it is your own.

Allied Movers / Company (Coleman) did an amazing job in the move for my mother from Orlando to Atlanta Georgia. The team that came to pack up, Edgar, Juan & Felix were OUTSTANDING. Every nook & cranny was protected, even the screws and small items were packed and placed with the furniture it went with. What was even better was that the same crew did the delivery in Atlanta, which placed us in such a great ease of mind. The tram did the same exceptional service and everything arrived as packed. No broken items, the team rebuilt all the furniture and placed where it was to go. I can go on and on but I think you get the idea. My daughter will be moving to Atlanta as well with her family and we have already spoken about calling Allied once again. Thank you Allied / Coleman for such a great experience. Cynthia Hernandez

This was a new experience for me moving cross country by myself. With no knowledge of how to go about this I contacted a couple of moving co. Allied Van Lines were the most helpful and professional to me. The drivers were also just as nice. I am 78 yrs young and was a little apresivie but everyone involved treated me with kindness and respect. I would recommend Alied Van Lines for moving to everyone. No I am Not being paid for this information. Just my personal testimony. THANK YOU again for your services.

As the previous review, loading and delivery is a nightmare. Martin is the district manager. He needs to find a new job. This company does not care that moving is stressful period for a family. They want your business but everything is on their terms. I do not about them but I need to schedule when I can be home to make delivery. Please do not make the mistake I made and choose another company who understand that we need an actual delivery date and can estimate how big of truck they will need.

We could not have been happier with the service provided by Coleman. Our move counselor(Cynthia) and driver(Chris) both went beyond the call of duty, to make our move of 1000 miles turn out great. It is difficult to pick the right mover from a crowd, we succeeded. We would highly recommended Coleman American Moving Services(Allied Van Lines) to anyone, without reservations, of any kind.
