I have had good expericances with Cox until this morning. We have been having WiFi issues and so we went and bought a really good router but it was still messing up from the router in the modem so I called and asked for someone to trade my super cool modem/router for just a modem to handle the problem. First lady told me I would have to pay for a new installation ( really?! ) for a trade of such kind. I told her thats crazy and as she argued with me a bit I said I would write that on my reviews Im a strong customer care reviewer. She actually said "Humph!" On the phone so I said "thank you for poorly respresenting your company and have a great day" she actually changed her tone and sounded all happy and said "okay great you have a fantastic day as well! " Well enough about that one. I got ahold of tech support online through a chat and a very very nice lady Emma listened ( or read ) to everything I had to say and she apologized for the behavior of the rep and apologized when she said I needed to go to the cox store or it would be 3 days before my modem got here but she would ship it if that was my choice. Thats costumer service. Maybe you cant get everything your way right away but a calm nice person who gives you options is fantastic! Service, the techs themselves have all be great so far in my area

I have been waiting 2 week for service. All I want is internet. I waited 1 week for them to run wire from the street. The next week they discovered no wire was run. This was supposed to be done by a 3rd party. I took time off for this. They came out again today and still didnt hook anything up. They said they would come out again in 2 weeks!!! Having to wait 4 weeks is very unreasonable. Especially when AT&T could have had it done last week. I went with COX because you claimed to be so good. That is bad costumer service and I even spoke with a supervisor and she wouldnt help me at all and first, and was reluctant to help me at all.

Horrible internet service. Ive had service with Cox since Nov. and have had to have Cox come out 6 times in 6 months. Each time I get a differnt reason why my cable isnt working. This last time, the tech tried to tell me that my modem wasnt supported by Cox service. I bought my modem directly from Cox! Go figure.
