Worst service ever!!! I was told that service was not available in my area next to Bid Sandy Elementary School (69 South-Tuscaloosa County). They said they would try to build something so that we could get service. I got a call back about 3 days later and they informed me that it was not possible. 2 weeks later I got a call that said service is available. After my contract was over with Hughes Net, I contacted Charter for service, completed the credit check, and was set up for service. They also gave me my new land line telephone number that I got with the bundled package. The tech came out (stayed less than 5 minutes) and said that I was too far away from the box and could not install anything. I went to the local office because I was furious and they told me that they do not know why they would tell me that service was available when its not. I asked how could one subdivision get it and another one cant when they are both less than 1/2 mile away from one another. The lady in the office said when they built Greymont Phase 1 that it was contracted/agreement to have establish service but everybody in Greymont cant get service either especially the people in Phase 2 which is the newer section. They kept calling and sending me emails for weeks to reschedule installation service that I could not get and wasted a credit check when service was not available to me. This company needs to be revamped with techs who know what they are doing and who are available to actually get service to customers who want it. I didnt want to give this company any stars but in order to post your response you have to click the stars. I tried to give half of a star but that wasnt an option either. Lastly, customer service goes a long way. I contacted the number listed online and asked if they could transfer me to the Tuscaloosa Location off of Patriots Parkway and they told me it was a "walk in only location". That was so funny too funny. Customer service goes a long way. If they would have transferred me to the Tuscaloosa location then maybe I wouldnt have wasted my time or a "great" credit check trying to get service. I would never recommend this service to anyone!

We have been trying to get new service installed for going on three months now. We have called twice a month following up with them each month, they kept giving us a date of Oct 28 for it to be installation ready. They stated that they would have to do construction to allow Cable access to us.What a surprise it still isnt ready it has taken them 3 months to run appx 150 foot of cable across the road and not even splice in connections. Keep in mind this is all the "construction" that was done. Now it has to go back to "construction" to splice the wire that took them 3 months to run, into the main line across the road that has been there for who knows how long. So in appx 10 more days I might can give a review on how the tv and internet service is. I hope its better than the one star they get on the "construction" service

Worst customer service EVER! No matter what you call for, they argue and attempt to charge you more. We pay $230/month already and still...its a constant headache to keep the wireless service connected and getting people out here to correct the problem, even when you *do* pay more. The tech we had come out today didnt know what he was doing and didnt not finish connecting the internet as we initially requested; he said we had to buy an internet booster, but he couldve connected a router. This entire company has ridiculous customer service, not to mention that he left furniture moved out of place, wires hanging out, and our attic ladder open. I have never seen such a lack of effort from a company that you pay over $200 a month to. Definitely switching ASAP...never to return!

So I heard Charters new commercial on the radio today. "We have promises to make and promises to keep" all this company does is make promises and breaks them. False advertisement is great. So they promised we would have charter serviced in my area by 1/31/17 so the day comes no service. So we call and they tell us construction says they have delayed till 2/6/17. Well that was yesterday and wait still nothing. So we call and now they tell us they sent someone out on 1/26/17 and said that it wasnt serviceable but they told us it just said delayed. So broken promisespecially are great.

This is where Charter Cable customers can pay their bill and to get new/switch out bad equipment. It is in an unusual location for Tuscaloosa. It is right next to Hillcrest High School, which is almost outside of the city limits. Odd location, not easy to get to due to traffic and construction.

Alex was very courteous and professional, and addressed all of my needs with a high level of expertise. He went above and beyond my expectations, and I would recommend him for acknowledgement and recognition for his superior work ethic.

Not willing to help unless your calling to tell them to stop your service then they fall over backward trying to help and keep you as a customer
