Got a message on our computer saying we were about to go over our 1 terabyt of data, after upgradibg to 2 terabyts the past month. Called and they fixed the issue and credited us back the extra money we were charged for a service we disnt have. After calling, the internet no longer worked. After calling back a second time, the lady told us we had to wait 24hours for the router to go through a reset process. Awesome, because everything in our house relies on Wi-Fi. After 24 hours and nothing, we called back again and they said the soonest they could send someone out was 5 days away. Finally we just dealt with it. Re-called back up and apparently someone didnt do part of their job at resetting the router, so the lady fixed it and boom. All of a sudden working. If I didnt have to have this crappy service on base, I wouldnt.

They got my address wrong twice. The service location was correct, they just had the wrong building and room number. Service would go down for hours every night at midnight for months, and speeds were half what were advertised. They disconnected a friends internet service while he was TDY because he "wasnt using it." However, his girlfriend was in his room doing college classes when it was shut down, and then after it was shut off, they charged him for the next months service. Every single person I have talked to about Mediacom on base says the same thing and call it terrible, horrible, awful, etc. I have no idea why the base still lets them have their monopoly.

Bad techsupport--automated tech support had me running around in circles for 20 min. Then got disconnected from real tech support. In the past this has occured a few times. As soon as Xfinity comes to my area, Im switching. Xfinity has a much faster, more affordable internet, and great tech support--I had them in California and had 4 years of great internet

Paying for ultra speed (100mbps) and have been getting 10-20 mbps consistently. if I could give them 0 stars, then I would. their customer service is absolutely pitiful and it really seems like the call center employees dont have any IT experience. If I had the choice of getting another service provider then I definitely would ASAP.

Its a frickin hassle to do anything with mediacom. If it wasnt the only thing we were allowed to get in the dorms I would jump to a diffrent company in a heartbeat

Wish a cheaper service was available, dont even need as much bandwidth they charge me for.
