SPECTRUM GETS ONLY 1 STAR!! I never thought buying cable and Internet could be sooo stressful. I spoke with a representative (6/23), who assured me that I will get the six channels that I requested for $109 +tax. Well, I got the equipment on Tuesday (6/27), but a technician had to come out and activate the connection from the pole. The earliest he/she could do it was Friday (6/30). I received a connection and service was perfect; however, only 3/6 requested channels were available. I called customer service and NO ONE could do anything. One of the reps I spoke with, supported the misleading rep. ..not good! I spoke with a supervisor, who did nothing, so I told her I am cancelling my service and returning the equipment. She apologized, but did not try to rectify it. I took my equipment into the facility on Outer Loop and two representatives tried their best to find a plan that would fit my budget, but exhausted all options, so for that I give them, not Spectrum, 1 star. The representative informed me that my previous representative placed me in a bundle (Cable, TV, and Phone). This was new to me. I didnt request phone service...I dont have a landline! I didnt even receive a phone number; yet Im paying for something I wouldnt use???!!! I called to cancel my service and was told I owe $128 ($118.15 for the service and an one-time $10 WIFI activation fee). Again, another surprise. No one mentioned an additional fee!! WOW! The representative stated, "Maam, I hope you come back to Spectrum." I told her, "I dont think this will ever happen!"

I have service with time Warner. My cable had a reference code of s0a00 now for almost 2 weeks, I have called multiple times for help with this. Each time nobody trys to send a new connection to my box, its basically turn it off, turn it on, lets send someone out. I had an appointment scheduled for 6 to 7 pm, at least thats what I was told, then I called to verify the appointment and was told there wasnt one, then I was told there was one for 9 am to noon, I work so that doesnt work. I then tell them it will only work if its 6 to 7 due to my schedule, I was told that wont work and they would get a manager to help me, they never got a Manager to help me, my cable is still messed up, they cant schedule a technician to help me, Im done, horrible customer service and definitely could care less about their customers.

Sick and tired of people getting smart when I go in this place. Nothing is ever done about the rudeness of their employees. Today I went and to get some details about why my bill was so much higher than I was promised. I had a woman named Sharlanda and she was rude and cutting me off the entire time. The worst part is she will continue to have a job. This is why people are so rude because theyre never held accountable. Here I am voicing my opinion like it matters and when I return Sharlanda will be waiting to get smart with me if I get her again. Im thinking of just canceling my service altogether its no longer worth the additional $30 a month with a side of smart ass each time I go in. Maybe one day enough people will complain and she will lose her job.

Well I had dropped my t.v. service and kept internet; I bought a fire stick,I jail broke it adding several live T.V. streaming apps. The thing is you cant stream your local channels live; they air from different states. The funny part is, that when I cancelled my T.V. service and turned my boxes in; I hooked the cable wire up straight to the back of my T.V.and was able to get only the channels I wanted in the first place. Well they started as of Aug.the 1st to encrypt all their channels. Which I can understand them doing that; so theyre not give out that service for free. The thing is tho I called and tryed to get just those few channels; well that cant be done. So long story short you cant beet the system.

I read quite a few horror story reviews about this lication and was dreding exchanging my equipment. Showed up on a Friday (8/25) around 10 and was out the door by 10:22 with all my new equipment. Sherlonda,the girl who waited on me, was quite pleasant and greeted me with a smile and a nice " good morning, how can I help you". We had a friendly TGIF conversation while she switched my equipment and ended our transaction with "Have a nice safe weekend". All in all I could not have had a better experience. A+ in my book

I never thought getting internet would be this hard. Order service on Friday they told me someone would be out here Saturday no one showed up. Sunday the same Monday the same. I spoke with 15 reps and they all said something different. To the rep that hung up on me dont be mad at me if customer service at Xfinity (Comcast) is 100 times better. All I have to say is Spectrum find out what Xfinity (Comcast) does to make there customer experience a good one. Ill say it again it shouldnt be this complicated.

TV has become too expensive, and I would rather deal with Sling TV which has been good for the price, on my xbox, this cable stuff blows. Nothing is ever on TV, Im tired of being told when to watch scheduled programming, F that, Netflix and Hull forever, Im not pay 120 a month for mediocre television, and a phone i dont even use, which is given out for whatever reason. Done with Cable...only thing its good for is a connection to the internet, in Louisville, KY anyway

In-store reps were very efficient and polite with no harassing regarding any product that I did or did not want. Perfectly satisfied. ** My rating is based on two visits over the course of many years. It is based on this in-store retail location only. Terrible location . Had to wait for 45 min to get a new box . The lady who "helped" me was extremely rude , had a HORRIBLE attitude, not friendly at all, looked down the whole time she communicated with me , guess she was mad she was at work , not sure , it stinks in there and they need some more chairs . The one on Hubbard lane is much nicer and only took a total of 5 minutes . Do not waste your time dealing with the Outer Loop location .

their customer service is terrible. I call in to get a wireless problem looked at YET AGAIN that I keep having, and all they do is change the channel on the wireless modem AGAIN and tell me to have a good day. So instead of offering to change out the modem, basically its tough luck. screw this Im cancelling my service and going to AT&T u verse, of course the speeds arent as good but at least I know the service is better.

The worst possible experience I literally spent 3+ hours on 6 separate occasion on hold and when finally able to speake to someone they offer no help and take absolutely no responsibility . They will take your money as much as they say you have to pay it doesnt matter if you agree to the amount . The Internet is good and its the only fairly fast one in the area they have s monopoly and they are truly screwing me .
