Installation crew and Customer support is TERRIBLE. These guys have been in my neighborhood for weeks installing their cable. Yesterday, THEY CUT MY COMCAST LINE to my home. I work from home and I was in the middle of a critical presentation with the Executive leadership at my company. I went out to speak to two men who were "cleaning up" the hole in my yard and I explained that they had severed my internet. When I asked how long it would take to repair, they replied, "Depends on Comcast availability - youll have to call them - were not allowed to repair it." After recovering from disbelief, I asked them if they could seek permission from Comcast to repair it or, at the very least, help escalate my ticket for repair from Comcast, who couldnt schedule sooner than 8 days. 8 days without internet for a guy who works very far away from his company (~2000 miles) is unacceptable. I dont have a problem with their mistake, the install crew is only human. What is UNREAL is that their standard method of correcting this mistake is PRECISELY NOTHING. They didnt leave a note to tell me they couldnt fix it after I drove to the closest work branch to try and work (without my files, configurations, hardware - I was operating at about 30% efficiency which frustrated leadership), they didnt try to call Comcast to help, they didnt escalate to customer service or attempt to get Comcasts permission to repair - nope. They did NOTHING. On the phone, the "manager" Emily riddled me with "We understand your frustration, but unfortunately were unable to assist you further." YOU cut the cable. YOU should do SOMETHING. ANYTHING to try and correct your mistake. This companys policies and customer care are wrought with indifference and trying to get ANY of their employees to do anything is a nightmarish, frustrating journey that makes you wonder how anyone has ever summoned the stupidity to consider giving their money to METRONET. AVOID METRONET LIKE GRIM DEATH, and reward yourself for making a decision that will save you a near-endless amount of frustration and anger.

We set up internet installation in early July for 8/4. On that date we were called and told that the infrastructure was not in place for our installation, but were promised an update later that day with installation either on the following day (Saturday) or Monday. To make a long story short, We called Metronet every day for 5 days requesting an update and received the same response every time - I will send an email to supervisor Dan Roth and get back to you later today. When we finally did meet Dan Roth it was not because he came to our home or called us with an update, it was because my husband ran into him in the neighborhood. He did not apologize, nor did he offer any form of compensation for our trouble. Two weeks later Metronet scheduled another installation appointment, only for the tech to discover that the infrastructure still was not in place. My husband drove to the Metronet office in Westfield and was given the same response - I will send an email to Dan Roth. Enough is enough. I called xfinity and had internet service within 36 hours.

I never really had any issues with Comcast (previous provider), but was paying around $210 a month for TV and Internet. With Metronet, Im getting comparable service for about $180 now (much faster upload speeds) and have a static IP address. Only had one outage, before the line had been buried, beyond that service has been excellent. Installation went smoothly (other reviewers apparently didnt have as much luck). Guys showed up and got hardware installed in about an hour. Did take a long time while they waited on the phone with the office to basically turn on the service. Overall I have been very happy with the service. Im glad Comcast has some real competition in my area now.

The installation crew has been in our neighborhood for weeks and its a mess. Theyve left multiple yards unfinished. Weve had to pick up their cigarette butts, lunch leftovers, etc. Two of the workers were drag racing in our neighborhood! A resident talked to the crew manager, but Im not certain anything was accomplished. We havent seen the crew for several days and lawns are left unseeded, flags everywhere, cut cable lines, etc. At least one resident has a cut water line. Before the crew ever came to our neighborhood, their salesman came to our home and was one of the rudest salespeople wed ever met. No thanks.

Worst company ever!!!! I thought Comcast was bad welcome to never getting your tv shows! Called them several times to fix their mess waited 30 plus people in line 58 minutes go by and a Representative that couldnt help me. Promised to comp me a month they didnt and shut my cable off. Finally turned it back on and guess what it doesnt work in any of my other rooms!!! Do yourself a favor and let this company go out of business they suck! Turning my crap back in. Lesson learned stay away from this company and save yourself needlesss aggravation. I wish this had a zero because thats what they deserve.

Gentleman came to my home and I wanted to save him the whole shpeal about what they can do for me and I politely told him I was happy with Comcast and I had no interest in changing. He went straight into defensive mode and seemed greatly offended that I had no desire to want to give Metronet a try. He aggressively began to tell me how my neighbors have decided to change and could not understand why I would not want too and save money. I again told him I good with Comcast and to have a good day, "Insert his name" and he was clearly mad and angrily walked away.

Metronet came through our neighborhood with no warning, notification or outreach to neighbors and started digging up peoples yards to install their service. As of now, the city of Fishers has suspended Metronets permit to continue digging because they have broken 6 gas lines putting us all in danger. Metronet is currently under a safety investigation to see if theyll be allowed to continue digging at all. After this stunt we wont even attempt to try Metronet considering how they have ran and handled their business thus far. Unbelievable.

Was told that service would be available at my house August 1, waited patiently. Just informed that it SHOULD BE the end of September. TOTALLY UNRELIABLE . Wish I could give them less than 1 star..... UPDATE 9-26-16: Decided to give them the Benefit of the Doubt... AND it back-fired... Last time I spoke with them, I was informed of October 1 was the new date... Just hung up the phone with them... Date for service is now simply "late November / early December". I can honestly say, I have NEVER experienced a business like them....

Installing HDD infrastructure in our neighborhood and its a mess. They have not been back on our street for 2-3 weeks and have yet to put down the seed/sod as they did in the remaining neighborhood for the restoration. The HDD work is done just no restoration. They showed back up today performing more HDD work down the street....now our internety has been down most of the afternoon. A little tough to work from home with no internet. Hope Metronet did not hit anything.

Horrible service. Tried getting commercial service for over 6 months. "Steve", kept making promises and never came through. Mean while my company was without internet service (had to use phone hotspot) for over 6 months while I kept being ignored by them. Finally had to go with Comcast who offers better service and pricing. Never thought I would say Comcast has better service then someone else but its true.
