This has been happening for nearly a year. Each month, they tell me I havent paid my bill and try and slap me with insane late fees. Once they told me I owed them $190. I specifically tell them each time I pay my bill to stop charging my old bank account and use the most updated one on file, which they verify is my current one. They continue to charge the account that doesnt exist and then tell me I am delinquent in my bill despite seeing in the system the account I keep telling them not to charge is the one they keep trying to pull money from. Each month, they tell me my new account is linked and it will no longer be an issue, and then when I call them they tell me Im not paying my bill and my account is locked, which forces all these fees. One of their staff members and was very rude to me, and said I havent paid my bills in 4-6 months, despite that I still have bank statements that show my bill was paid early and often. Then when I showed them, they "found it in the system" and decided to "forgive" some of the fees. Now theyve locked my account, and said I cant have services renewed until I pay by money order or cash, because my account has too many delinquencies, even though THEY are the reason they show as such. To put is simply, no one here actually knows what theyre doing. Theyre kind, and they mean well, but some of the workers are incompetent and do know know what theyre doing. They charge too much, and their service is dodgy at times. I recommend other options if you can help it.

Talk about the biggest group of incompetent jerks. My appointment yesterday was between 2-4pm and I made it very clear that I wouldnt be at my house after 4. The technician didnt show up so I called to let them know they didnt come and went ahead and rescheduled for 8-10am the following day. These people called me 5 times (different representative each time) for whatever reason. I clearly let each representative know that I wanted the 8-10am slot the next morning and they ensured me that my appointment was set. I get a call this morning and the first thing out of her mouth is, "we had a technician out to your house yesterday, but he said you werent home. Would you like to reschedule?" So I let her know exactly what happened (tech was late and didnt show up until 6:15pm) and told her that I had an 8-10am appointment today... welp, there was no record of that! So I talked to to Jasmine, Latoya, Andrea and not a damn one of them got the message I was trying to relay? This company sucks and their employees SUCK.

BAIT AND SWITCH!!!!! After tracking up my carpet for 2 days and LYING TO ME ABOUT THE SERVICES. I now find out there is NO ON DEMAND IN MY AREA??? But I have the SILVER PACKAGE??? Oh we dont have there yet???? But the FLYERS & ADVERTISING SAID ON DEMAND IN THE SILVER PACKAGE? ?? Not in my area??? U advertising it in my area?? Sold it to me and told me its in my PACKAGE? ?? Now its not in my area??? Ok so how do you COMPENSATE??? We DONT SORRY So I have BASIC CABLE but paying premum prices!!! Can I get an EXTRA CHANNELS. to make up?? Can I get some off my bill?? NO!!! NOTHING!! SO I WILL BE CANCELING THE SERVICES!!! NO ON DEMAND NO EXTRA CHANNELS NOTHING OFF THE BILL BUT THEY ESPECT ME TO PAY THE SAME PRICE??? FOH BRIGHT HOUSE SPECTRUM OR WHO EVER!! These big companies just SCREW ALL THE CUSTOMERS AND GET RICHER!!! Never haven to answer. For nothing! !! Im TAKEN MY $$$$ else where!!! I want spend THOUSANDS A YEAR for BS SERVICES! ZERO STARS!!!!! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Absolutely horrible experience. The only thing good they offer is the internet. Its better than att. I made an appointment on Tuesday the tech could not find the pedestal after about 30 minutes. he decided hell get his supervisor to find it the next day. The next day comes and I have yet to get a call so I call Brighthouse and apparently they schedule me appointment on Friday that I was unaware of. I couldnt make that appointment so I had to wait till Saturday. The tech comes out Saturday, says Im already hooked up that I pretty much wasted my time. So the first tech did not know what he was talking about because he said I was not hooked up.

Brighthouse in Wetumpka has the absolute best and nicest people working there Ive ever encountered with a service kind of business!! No lie - they are sooooooo very kind on the phone and so are the Techs when they come to the house. You usually dont get nice people in the service business because Im sure they get tired of talking to people all day. Brighthouse employees are different. They are so very easy to talk to and very nice and understanding to your needs. Im so glad we have them. It makes me not want to move from Elmore County because I dont want another cable company. Thank you Brighthouse.

My family moved and cancelled our service with Bright House which I was a paying customer for over 10 years. I called and cancelled the subscription and I returned the equipment personally to the store. Later, I was billed 18.00 from a collection agency for a late fee without prior notice from Bright House. A fee I would have been happy to pay while I was in the store returning the equipment but I was not told I had an additional payment. So poor customer service and inept employees at the Wetumka AL store resulted in my credit being slammed. Thanks Bright House!

Moved into a new house and wanted to have my service switched over.They set up an appointment and everything...guy never shows.I called 6 times to check on the status of the technician but they said they couldnt do anything.I sat on the phone with customer service for an hour and they said basicallythere was nothing i can do but reschedule.ok.rescheduled for the 2-6 timeframe.guy never shows.they say theyre sorry and theyll reschedule me.OK

One of their customer service representatives disconnected my Internet service after I paid the bill! Only because I didnt want to switch my cable service over to them and after 5 days of being on the phone on hold FOREVER they thought I was going to pay $200 for a tech to come out and turn my service back on!! I WOULDNT ADVISE ANYONE TO GET ANY KIND OF SERVICE FROM BRIGHT HOUSE SPECTRUM OR WHATEVER THEY CALL THEMSELVES!!!

If I could put a negative star I would. Price went up about $60 over Brighthouse. I am now on my fourth day, FOURTH DAY! trying to get the "cable guy" to show up. Then u have to call them back more than once to make sure they actually set up an appointment and are going to show up. Beyond crappy service. I feel bad for the former Brighthouse employees. First chance I get they are history.

bn a customer w/Bright house for 4 years now... every year my bill goes up 15-20% because my introductory offer has expired!!! AGAIN!!!!!4 times my INTRODUCTORY OFFER has expired!! hopefully another company will provide a better service and tell brighthouse (SPECTRUM) where to stick it.... sick of this crap

Absolutely the worst service possible. Continually having problems with my internet and all they want to do about it is say that there is nothing wrong and it must be my router. Apparently I must have gotten 3 different routers that dont work.
