DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR CAR. I took my car in to replace the rear brake pads because I had a coupon for $99.99 for one axle. I know a lot about cars, so I wasnt worried about them talking me into something. I told them that I only wanted the rear brake pads replaced because the front ones werent that bad, but they told me that it is their policy that they can ONLY replace the front axle or replace all four brake pads. I said whatever just replace the front then so after 1.5 hours they tell me that they replaced the front brake pads, but the back brake pads are shot and i really need to replace those (which i asked them to do originally). They said oops should we just put new ones on the back axle? And i told them no, put the old ones back on the front axle and put new brake pads on the rear axle. Then after another 1.5 hours they tell me that they put the old ones back on and new ones on the back axle, but my rotors need to be replaced and will cost another $150 or so. The guy tried to guilt me into it by saying i wont make it home unless I replace the rotors which i know was complete B.S. So finally after about 4-4.5 hours of waiting and arguing i got out of there with 2 new brake pads which should take about 20 minutes. NEVER COMING BACK. They will try to scam you out of every penny.

Im surprised to hear the negative reviews. Perhaps since I have been going only recently, that is the difference. Someone said new management and new technicians. I cant tell you how awesome this Firestone Complete Auto Care is. Whenever I have an issue with my vehicle, they are the ones to make it right! They are always up-front and honest. All of the staff have always been nothing but awesome. Their customer care is above and beyond. I had new tires put on by a competitor... they messed up my alignment. They dont do alignments, so I took it to a different competitor. They charged me and did an alignment. Didnt work at all! Then took it to my dealership who did the same thing...didnt work. Found that Firestone did a lifetime alignment, so I brought it in. My alignment came out perfect and I havent had an issue since. Now I brought it to them to fix yet a different issue from yet another competitor, and they were right on the money. Showed me the damaged parts from the competitor. They made it right yet again! I will NEVER take my car anywhere else from now on!!!

Got brakes inspected by firestone in April (3 months ago), brakes squeaking. The "technician" said I had 60% wear left on the front brakes and 40% on the back. Well that dipstick was wrong. I finally found my receipt with the date of my last brake change on it (not firestone) and it was a year and a half ago. How could I have used up 60% or 40% (back) of my pads in three months if I have only used the difference in 1.5 years! I have the Firestone inspection sheet in front of me. Now the brakes are screeching bad and I have no time to get in there and show them the old receipt and their inspection receipt and ask them if they can do math and see how, unless I drove another 20-25 thousand miles, the brakes were inspected incorrectly. I do not know much about cars, I just know the squeek sound is a warning and the screeching is the rotors. I am taking both receipts in there today and I will post what happens. Do not take you car there, I am not kidding about this. Idiots.

Everyone was very friendly. Thats a 5. Got my car back, decided to check the oil level. It was 1.4 quarts over. I went back in, told them, they spent 45 min draining it out an oz at a time with the car going up and down on the lift. Then I watched in horror as the mechanic had a fit, beating on the plastic cover that goes on the bottom of the engine which he did not need to take off. He pulls the car out said its good to go and leaves the engine running so I shut it off and check the oil. Its still an inch above the top line. Now I am really unhappy. I go back in and tell them. They took the car back in, drained the oil and refilled. 30 min later I have the car. Check the oil, it is still 1/4" over the top mark. Not this place ever again. They are nice, the manager called me to apologize, wanted to do something for me. I really do not want anything. I will avoid all Firestone garages forever.

brought my car to chech why engine light was on.they told me they ran a complete diagnostic and that all four of my oxygen sensors were bad, also my power steering switch according to them was broken and needed to be replaced. total cost of everything would be 1609.00.I felt I should get a second opinion and brought it to 2 other service repairs.they found someone had unplugged pressure switch on my car which caused false readings to occur.once they plugged it back in engine light went off and showed all sensors are operating normally.this dealer tried to scam me perhaps because I am a senior citizen and thought they could get away with it.shame on them.p.s went back to firestone to tell them what happened and the mgr. told me he has no control over what his mechanics might have done.I will be contacting dept of consumer affairs and firestone corporate

Hi, Im a real person who has avoided bringing my own car to this shop before (always oversold on the need for repairs in the past). At his insistence, I took my husbands car on a walk-in oil change appt today. Brand new managers Mr. Jones and Mr. Johnson - are very customer service oriented. First time I ever came in for an oil change and left paying only for an oil change. No effort was made to oversell me and as far as I could tell any of the other seven people that I heard them interact with. They even thanked one customer (dispute unknown) for allowing them the opportunity to win their trust back. Attention to lobby area: could use a current paper and bottled water dispenser, but Ill easily do without those when Im not being over sold or over charged.

Nothing ever seems to go quickly at Firestone. Ill take the car in for something that should be simple, get an estimate of when it should be done....and based on that I wait for the car. Terrible idea. Nothing is ever done when they say it will be. And even though they have "scheduling" on their website, its first come first serve. So theres no real point to making an appointment. Ive been told I need to be there at 7 am if I want anything done quickly. I have one of their "lifetime" alignment services...but Im not going there anymore anyway: Im sure theyd just find something else that needed "fixed" (5 hours after the job was supposed to be done). Oh..and prices/things to fix seem to creep up magically.
