I had an expensive (Talbots) red wool blazer recently cleaned by Dry Clean City. When I got it home, I put it on and it had shrunk to at least 2 sizes smaller than its original size (the sleeve now hit me mid forearm and I couldnt button it). I brought it back and they offered to re-clean it and "to stretch" it. When I pick it up again, and tried it on in the dry cleaner, it was still the same small size. The owner, Lee, just sort of shrugged her shoulders and said she couldnt understand what had happened. When I pressed her, and ask, "didnt they compensate the customer if they ruin a piece of clothing?" , she finally relented and gave me 5 free dry cleanings (worth ~$10 total). My jacket cost much more than $10, but what really irritated me was the complete lack of responsibility on their part. I shouldnt have had to ask for compensation, and then be given such a small amount. I wont go back to Dry Clean City.

I have a HE washing machine so I am usually able to wash things that are dry clean only, but every once in a while I will try out a dry cleaners to see if they can do better. Dry Clean City is VERY inexpensive. I brought in a silk blouse and paid $2 up front for dry cleaning, though the sign above said it was $1.85 per item. It had a couple of light stains on it that I was using as markers to see how well they did. When I got it back it looked exactly the same; same pressing that I did, same stains, except for one thing. The sleeves were nearly ripped off under the arms. So, not only was my blouse as dirty as when I brought it in, it was severely damaged. Yes, Dry Clean City is cheap. There is a reason for that. Take your money and your dry cleaning elsewhere so it might actually get cleaned and not killed.

Its definitely the best dry cleaner in Athens. Ive seen several places at this point, and with confidence I can say that you wont find a better dry cleaner than this one, if youre bringing regular clothes. They will caution you if youre bringing super expensive and sensitive garments, since their prices are so cheap. Nevertheless, I have never had any problems in regard to damages to my clothes--and Ive been visiting them for years now. Its certainly the best quality service for the lowest price. Good location as well. Its the largest dry cleaner I know, with the biggest number of items, which tells me that it gets good business. I recommend this place for sure--give it a try

2 days ago i was looking for a dry clean place to take my husband suits, we had a very important event that week and i took 2 of my husband suits, when i went to pick them up i was surprised how cheap they charge me. of course you get what you pay. they burn my husbands suits and they try to cover it. when i saw the suit i was so upset because he pay a lot of money for these suits. please if you read this review dont ever go to this place you will be very disappointed of the service. i dont usually do reviews but this time i know it was the right thing to do. hated this place i hope they close it down.

I took a brand new yellow cardigan to be dry cleaned and recieved it back with holes all in the sleeves and down the side of the garment. When I approached them about the damage, they refused to reimburse me for the garment, even after admitting they had done it. I warned them that I would go to the BBB and even still they refused to oblige. Use them at YOUR OWN RISK. I also own a vest in the same fabric and color as the cardigan and it had been dry-cleaned by someone else in town with no problems. BEWARE of this DRY CLEANER.

Besides having the best prices they have great customer service. Ive been taking my clothes here for years and years and have never had a bad experience. They are even very obliging when you need a garment in short notice and will steam and re-steam or iron and re-iron until you are satisfied. Theyre awesome.

For the price ($19.95 for 10 pieces) I was pretty excited, I brought in suits of different fabrics and ties of all sorts of fabrics and everything came back flawless. The only problem that I had is that it took a while, about 4 days.
