I had a horrible customer service experience with Mai Kai cleaners. Specifically the one at 14 Mile Road/Novi. They faded my sons bedspread...not just 1 or 2 shades, but almost all of the color is gone. The problem is that it is a matching set and they will not take responsibility. The front desk helper accused me of originally bringing it to them in that state (in front of another customer). She did offer to clean the matching spread (for free) to remove all of the color to match the defective one. I couldnt believe that was her solution? The rep that called me, when I asked to speak to someone with "authority", told me that it was my fault for bringing it to them and had a "buyer beware" attitude. He told me to go back to the manufacturer and complain to them for their defective material that they were not going to do anything. I was a loyal customer for years! I couldnt believe what I was hearing, so I am telling all of you...spread the word. Do not use Mai Kai cleaners, and if you do "buyer beware".

MADE ME PAY TWICE!!!!!!!!there was some nasty girl smoking out front and i dropped it off a blouse. She charged me like $12 and gave me my ticket... I forgot about the blouse and went back a month later. A different person was in there and she said $7 I said I already paid she said no we write it on the blouse tag, but if you have your receipt. I said all she gave me was this. She asked me how did you pay. I said cash. Then she said we dont give receipts for cash. They are crooks. Dont ever go there!!!!!

If all you need is dry cleaning and arent worried about ironing then this is the place. I had to pay extra for one of my collard short sleeve dress shirts because it had snaps, except they ironed the sleeves with half of it folded over. They also were supposed to dry clean and iron a pair of khakis, there was not any indication of ironing on the khakis. Definitely wont be going back.

Went here for the first time not long ago. I brought a pile of around 8 of my husbands dress shirts. We just noticed that one of the shirts has about a 2" cut in the middle of the sleeve. The cut was definitely not there previously! Unfortunately it is not fixable as it is right in the middle of the sleeve and not along a seem line... Definitely will not be returning to this cleaners!!

I have no way else to start, but to say "STAY AWAY!!" The customer service here is terrible, Helen is unprofessional. Cleaning is poor and over charges. If employees work poorly, I think the owner is the same.

Shirts returned with lint and wrinkles. poor customer service. Recommend avoiding this place!
