I strongly recommend avoiding taking your car to this location. I received some of the worst service I have ever received in the automotive business. I took my car to get a "free brake inspection" first oof. My brakes are just squeaking and I know for certain that all I need was new pads. They call me back and tried to convince me that I needed a whole new brake system, especially the hydraulics. If it were the hydraulics there would be grinding and it would be very difficult to stop, my brakes just squeak.. thats all. I asked them to replace just the pads and they were relentless over the phone trying to talk me into getting the full packed which would cost over $1000. I suspect that business for them is tough because upon arrival of dropping off my car in the late morning there was no one there which for me is a red flag but i proceeded with it hoping it was just a slow day. Obviously now i see why i was so empty. Anyway.. its evident they are desperate because they are trying to convince me that my entire brake system is broken pretty much. I told them I will just go and pick up the car. Waiting in line the customer in front of me was having some disagreements with the front desk. Keeping that in kind, i I was up to get my key and and they want to charge me $100 for the brake inspection after I was told on the phone and at the front desk when I dropped off my car that it was a "free brake inspection." After arguing with the manager I decided to call the district manager and they cut the charge but explained to me that there was a miscommunication and they had performed a complete brake inspection. The manager at this store that I argued with was one of the most rude individuals I have ever met. By far some of the most dissatisfying customer service I have ever received in my life. Please read this before you go here! I normally wouldnt care to write a review for something minor but this was some of the worst treatment I have gotten as a customer in my life.

I wasted my time there today but fortunately didnt waste any money. They wasted no time telling me that my brake rotors were shot and that they were machine well below the minimum spec and that because my brakes hadnt been bled before that I needed new calipers they wasted no time telling me that my brake rotors were shot and that they were machine well below the minimum spec and that because my brakes hadnt been bled before that I needed new calipers so very quickly the $99 break special was looking like about $900. The funny part is Toyota regularly serviced my brakes Toyota ground them down to well above the minimum spec and there was still about 30 thou that could be ground. I was also told initially that the $99 special did not include Machining rotors and when I asked them why does the coupon say includes Machining rotors that was when I was told that my rotors are no good anyways and that my calipers were no good as well. I can see why so many Just Brakes have closed their doors because they are not very reputable, they try and upsell you anything they can and if you dont know brakes then you really will get hurt dealing with them. My advice, avoid Just Brakes and pay a few bucks more and go elsewhere. **Update - I took my car to another local shop today and no surprise, the shop owner said the rotors had plenty of metal left even after turning them today. In the end I needed new pads and the regular service that is done after changing pads. I paid $180. I know this is more than the false price Just Brakes will quote but I think Id rather pay that vs. Go to Just Brakes and get lied to and possibly sold a thousand dollars of service you dont need. Again I want to reiterate how horrible Just Brakes Pleasant Hill is.

AWFUL AND VERY UNTRUSTWORTHY I will never go back here again. I hope everyone who is thinking about going here will read this. Please do not go here unless you want to get completely ripped off. I went in to get my fiancees brake pads changed and that was it. After there "inspection" they proceeded to tell me many other things that were wrong with my brakes. What they didnt realize is that I used to work on brakes. They told me a lot of things were bad, but I knew there was no way they could have know without taking everything apart. My estimate went from just brake pads to over $700 worth of stuff that did not need to be done. After I told them not to do anything, they still tried to get me to get the other stuff done. Then the man started to get rude and force me to get the other stuff. I told them not to do anything, I got the car back and took it somewhere else. I took it to the other side of atlanta where I used to work and had some friends look at it. They took everything apart and told me the only thing that needed to be changed was the pads. This is the first review I have ever written. I am so mad. I just hope nobody else will ever go there.

After I was told something over the phone they wanted to get more money from me by telling me I needed something when I could of gone without that so I told them I will go somewhere else no problem. As they putting my tires back on i was talking to the mechanics to get clarity and the heavy set manager came out of no where and walked up on me in a aggressive manner telling me this and that and how Im living out of my means because I own a 2006 lexus lol and what not ! After us going back and fourth and him threating to call the police on me because he thought I was someone he can walk up on and disrespect because I didnt want his service anymore he walks around the shop yelling at the top of his lungs telling me never to come back to his raggedy shop Lol! The one mechanic shook my hand shaking his head as we both couldnt believe that a grown man that was a manager was acting like a 5yr Old! Some of the comments he was making was border line racist and Childish! Stay far away from this place if you can!

Dont Do it!! Not only did they charge me $826 to change 4 brake pads, 2 roaders, and 2 sets of hardware but that was AFTER I complained and said I wouldnt pay $900 an something dollars and they found a way to discount this and discount that. Then he got on the phone and tried to get me approved for their store credit card which I was approved for $500. I go sit back down and he calls me back over to the phone to speak with the representative about the credit over the phone and she asks me if it was ok to up my limit to $800. I said for what?! She said he told her it was $826. I was like what!! no way!! By then they already had been working on my car for 30 min. I was beyond pissed off. They charged me 3 labor charges. 2 for $179 to change each break and one for 69.99 to change the break fluid. It took less than a hour and they charged me $427 in labor charges!!! Im no mechanic but thats not right!
