The Cleaning Authority Duluth has POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! THEY DO NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS AND GET AN ATTITUDE WHEN YOU TELL THEM THAT THEY DONT. Prior to agreeing to work with the company, my husband and I asked about services including the cancellation policy. The owner, Donna, told us that it would be no problem to reschedule. Fast forward to the week we were supposed to have our first cleaning, our family had to evacuate due to the hurricane so we cancelled because there were too many people in our home. The very next week, I called back to schedule a new appointment (I called on a Friday). I left a message with someone at the call center, told them I wanted to get a Friday in the month of October and they said someone from the Duluth office would call me back and... NO ONE CALLED. I called again that Monday and I was told the person who does the scheduling doesnt work on Mondays, but would call me on Tuesday to schedule. I also told her I was interested in a Friday. Tuesday came... NO ONE CALLED. Wednesday, I called back only to be told that they book appointments a week and a half in advance and when I cancelled it took me out of the system completely and did not reschedule me so my first Friday cleaning would not be until Nov 4?!?!? I was frustrated, but I told her to put me down, but call me (either way) if they had any cancellations this upcoming Friday. Moreover, even if they did not have a cancellation, I wanted a phone call. She assured me that she got off on Thursday at 6p and would call me prior to leaving. However, as you guessed it... NO ONE CALLED! I called back on Friday to have the person tell me that they are so busy, people had accidents, so on and so forth. But... what does that have to do with you returning a customers call?!?!They tried to reschedule me for a Tuesday, but I work on that day, and in the back of my mind, even though they said it would not be a problem to try to work me in to a Friday again, I clearly dont believe it! Thus, I have cancelled my service before it even started! So, we will be on the search for a new cleaning company. If anyone knows of one that RETURNS PHONE CALLS WHEN MESSAGES ARE LEFT... please let us know!

Extremely dissatisfied in the service I received when booking a one time deep clean with the Duluth location. I left s very detailed priority list that was not taken into consideration at all and many items were just completely not done. They seem to do their own routine each time regardless of what you ask for- such as making beds, dusting, sweeping, and moping. I did not need them to do any of those things I wanted a deep clean for blinds, baseboards, cobwebs, doors and windows, light fixtures, etc things that dont get cleaned weekly. The didnt wipe down window frames or doors, get cob webs down, or clean the tile and grout in my bathroom which were top priorities and missed some blinds and baseboards throughout the house. After emailing them to express my dissastification with the service I got a call from the manager saying "she will have a talk with the ladies" and that was it. Basically it was a waste of almost $200 and time because I had to finish cleaning my whole house while 8ms pregnant. Terrible customer service and I would not reccomend for a deep clean at all.

For initial cleaning all was done is vacuuming of only in a middle of the hallway and rooms (there was dust and dog hair along all walls after the “cleaning”), all the noticeable surfaces dusted, stove wiped, and floor mopped. No promised deep “spring” cleaning, no doors or knobs, no bathroom grout and cabinets were even touched, although it is clearly stated in their brochure that it is what included in initial cleaning. I re-vacuumed master bedroom afterwards and collected a full canister of dust. They left a pile of Comet on the natural stone shower floor; water dispenser in the fridge was pulled out of its mound. I contacted the company and asked for the refund and my keys. Company offered to re-clean, but insisted it is done when it is convenient to them, not to me. They refused to re-clean a week from now when I am available to be present to check on the quality of work before paying. They never offered a refund. I do not recommend this company to anyone, of course, if they don’t want to waste $140 and go rescue their house keys in person.

I worked for this company for five days and it was horrible. They try to give you 4 or 5 houses per day to clean which is not possible to do thoroughly. I felt that 3 houses was enough because I wanted to make sure I cleaned the homes perfectly and not cheat anyone out of a clean home. I quit and they have not even paid me for the days I worked. What legitimate company does not pay someone for the hours they worked? This is the worst cleaning company ever and I would not recommend anyone to work there or use there services. Donna is rude, unprofessional, and obviously does not know how to run a legitimate company. Shame on her!!!!

The Cleaning Authority has been cleaning my house for 5+ years, and Im always happy to come home every other Thursday to a spotless house! Their employees do a consistently great job, and you always know what to expect (the best!). Ive used one other cleaning service prior to hiring The Cleaning Authority, and never knew what Id see when I came home on cleaning day (sometimes great, somestimes below average). Not so with these folks--they spelled out what theyd do at the start of the relationship, and have delivered ever since. Recommend 100%. --k. goodman, duluth, ga

Avoid this "business" at all cost. Their staff broke items in my home, would often be found in rooms that I did not ask to be cleaned, and often would show up late for their scheduled time. Whats worse - the company routinely would not notify us when they had our home scheduled for cleaning. The staff would just show up at our door. The owners have a bad attitude and no idea of what customer service is. You can find many better options in the area.

We have used The Cleaning Authority Duluth for some time now and found that they provide reliable, consistent and convenient service. They do a wonderful job of cleaning our home, and we have found scheduling and communication to be easy and convenient, most of it occurring online via email or the website (with payment options online, as well). It has been a pleasure to partner with The Cleaning Authority, and we are grateful for their service.

TCA has reduced my amount of housework and stress TREMENDOUSLY! As a working mother with a small child, I was drowning in cleaning that I simply didnt have time for. Now, I can focus my time away from work on my child and husband, not on the filthy house! Prices are very reasonable and I love their rewards system! Give them a try; you wont be disappointed!

Very sorry company to work for!! The pay is awful .25 mileage 7.25 prep time 7.25 on the road 10.00 cleaning a house... So technically you have an hour or two to clean a house that mean you are getting paid 10-20 dollars a house and they want you on your knees... Lol ridiculous! Work for ITSMAIDDAY THEY PAY 11-14 AN HOUR.
