Terrible customer service!!! I moved my belongings in the middle of the month but paid for a full month in advance. My next bill was supposed to be prorated at a cheaper price but it ended up being nearly twice the amount I was originally quoted. I asked if I could make the additional payment the next day but was told Id be assessed a $20 late fee. How?! My paperwork shows a 6 day grace period for payments due. Ashley, the Relief Manager was of no help whatsoever AND she was very rude! She gave me some BS story about prorated payments not being eligible for grace periods. It sounded like she was making the whole thing up as she went along. I asked to speak to her supervisor but was told to call back the next day, which by then, I wouldve already been assessed the late fee. I asked to speak to someone in customer service and she gave me a generic automated system phone number. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences Ive ever had! Ill be sure to spread the word about this location.

Tanya, the manager at the 18400 Cicero Public Storage facility, is excellent. She is very friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. We had booked a 10 x 15 unit on line, but then decided to go look at the space before we moved in. Tanya took us to the unit and we began to have doubts whether all our belongings would fit. She asked what items we had and determined a 10 x 20 space would work better. We agreed with Tanya and she then went back to the office and worked her computer magic to switch our unit while maintaining our on-line discount. The bigger unit does cost more, but Tanya gave us her best price. We then bought packing supplies from Tanya and she was very helpful. Over-all we had an excellent experience dealing with this Public Storage location and in particular, with Tanya, the manager.

Came in to Public Storage for 8 wardrobe boxes. When entering I was help out by a Manager named Tanya! She was very helpful and professional while helping with what I needed! Then I had to come in again for 4 more wardrobe boxes and Tanya was there again to help me! After having a long and stressful day to walk in a place of business and be greeted by someone with such a warm and welcoming smile and great attitude it kind of puts you at ease! This by far is the best customer service that I have ever had! All because of Tanya I will continue to use the Public Storage services and wont have any problem recommending Public Storage to friends and family! Thanks Tanya

I have been renting at this facility since 2012. The staff is always very informative and friendly. And I have to say the facility is very clean. HOWEVER...the "security gate" has been open for long periods since last summer. I have gone in to inquire and they told me they have had someone out to service it several times and it is still not fixed. They referred me to the corporate office to make a complaint. Gate is STILL open to this date...2/28/14!!! Ridiculous...should be fixed. It is suppose to be secured. I am honestly looking into moving! If it wasnt so convenient I would have made the move already.

Recently I was in the process of moving and quickly ran short on supplies (boxes, tape, etc). I needed to obtain a few items quickly and at a reasonable price. I instantly recalled my prior dealings with Public Storage, specifically Tanya, the manager at the Country Club Hills location. Upon my arrival I was greeted by Tanya and she was just as helpful as I remembered. She quickly assisted me in assessing my needs and selecting the appropriate package...without breaking the bank. What a lifesaver...thanks Tanya!

When I first arrived at the storage my reservation was all messed up the young lady who made the reservation online told me that they had the size unit I needed to accommodate my situation and the storages of that size were all accupied , The young lady Brittany that was taking care of me was very passionate and understanding need more workers like her I gave the storage 5 stars Brittany conversation, and effort with finding me a storage unit in my time of need made me feel good about using Public Storage

What a nice experience! Never used a storage facility before and was a little apprehensive. Thankfully, I had the pleasure of being assisted by Tanya! Had no idea how large a space I would need..... she explained all my options patiently and even showed me the spaces she felt might work for me based on my expressed need. The Public Storage facility in Country Club Hills is an excellent facility. I have been utilizing this facility for the past eight years. During my time there, I have had the privilege to work with Tanya. She is an excellent property manager, Shes kind, considerate and definitely knowledgeable of her position. I feel secure knowing my most precious possessions are in a clean, safe facility with people like Tanya who cares about providing excellent customer service.

Tanya, is the manager that is mainly collecting the payments on my account for majority of the time. The property is always nice and clean. I find it a blessing to be able to rent out a storage unit to keep your personal belongings in.

I rent a small storage unit from the Country Club Hills location. This is my second time ever renting from Public Storage. The location is clean, gate is open for you to drive right in. Im not sure why. I dont have an issue with the employees at this location it is with their District Manager. It is too lengthy to go into. I did my part and now just asking that he does his part. Give me the information I requested.

Ive been a tenant for about 1 year. My bill suddenly jumped $21 a month. when I stopped at the office and inquired the clerk laughed and said thats the way Public Storage operates. She said if I wanted I could move to a lower priced unit (same size) but it would have to be done in 1 day. I talked with several other customers in the yard and they all said they had experienced the same treatment every six months to a year.

My husband and I visited this facility today to rent a storage unit. Tanya, the lovely lady who helped us, was so very helpful!! She was friendly, courteous, helpful and informative! This facility did not have the type of unit we wanted available, and she guided us to a Public Storage location that did! Overall, a very positive experience and I would recommend this location to all! Thank you!!
