I had a extremely AWFUL experience here. I stored my stuff here for a couple of days. When i cleared my stuff I called them and informed them that I have cleared the unit and of course I have removed my lock. However, 2 month later, they send me a bill and wants me to pay the fee for an extra month plus late fee. I called to dispute it but they insisted that I did not remove my lock. I left several messages to let they call me back but they didnt. Finally, I called again and a lady said she see no charges on my account. I thought the matter is resolved. But today, I received a letter form a debt collector. I called public storage to ask explain the matter but the person who answered the phone wouldnt let me finish and hanged up on me. I called back several times and got switched to an auto-message. I used a different phone to call but got switched to the auto message at a much longer time interval so I can tell the receptionist is filtering my phone. My experience tell me that they have awful attitude and messy management! I do not recommend this place. If there were a 0 star rating, I would choose 0 star.

The need to place into storage the contents of a 2 bedroom apartment arose quickly. I searched the internet for local storage facilities and Public Storage appeared to be the most appropriate. The reservation for a unit was completed on the internet after assessing the space needs, ultimately choosing a 10x10 unit to house the modest contents of an apartment with basic furniture and no appliances. The receiving personnel were quite friendly and knowledgeable, providing a full description of the facility in Chicago. We were taken on a quick tour of the facility and of the actual storage unit. The facility as a whole is climate controlled and actually felt quite cool on an unusually warm Chicago day. The site appeared quite secure and safe with a gated entry and accessible only with the use of a personal code that they provide and one enters into a keypad. Overall, the experience was a generally good one. I anticipate no problems with the decision to store belongings at Public Storage.

Location not bad other than the ridiculous policy of having carts available only during office hours and then only by leaving ID to get one. Had an instance earlier this month where I buzzed the office 5 times with no response, then had to drive back to the front to get someone to let me get a cart, only to have to drive around back again to meet them, then had to wait about ten minutes to get my ID back. A five minute job ended up taking me about 30 minutes. I understand the fact that carts tend to disappear, but you I would think that would be perhaps just one of those costs of doing business that everyone who runs one deals with. When I first rented from this location I did so partly because they had carts by every entrance. Perhaps I should think about moving to a facility that actually makes it convenient for me to use their facility rather than treating me like a criminal who can; be trusted with a cart. Not real convenient to not be able to go over other than during office hours.

Last week, I went to this location in hopes that someone there would help me with my moving inquiries. As I walked in, I saw a young gentlemen by the name of Charles who greeted me with a smile and was very eager and friendly with helping me out with answering all my questions and even helping me find the best storage space that suited my needs as well as selling me a lock and some boxes too. Overall, my experience with the company and Charless customer service was great. No complaints, ill definitely recommend my family and friends to do business with Public Storage, and anyone else who reads these reviews go see Charles, hes friendly to his customers and actually listens as most associates dont.

5 Star Service! Im planning to move in with a friend and I have been shopping around for a place to hold a few of my personal items. I called a few places to check prices, hours of access as well as availability.When I called Public Storage Mr. Charles Taylor was VERY helpful and friendly. He informed me of unit availability by size, price and hours of access. He also gave me directions to the location and even offered a lock. I am looking forward to storing my items with Public Storage. If you call this property ask for Charles Taylor. He will point you on in right direction.

Price is awesome. But this place has no security cameras!!! Its 2017 and only cameras they have are by the entrance/exit. I had my truck parked there. It got robbed twice out my tools. I lost around $600. The other day I had my car parked there when I was driving my truck and they stole Mercedes badge out of the front grill... never got any money back since I never did police report. Unfortunately I didnt have time to get that done because of a type of job Im doing it would cost me more money to be late for a appointment. Stay away!!!

I would just like to say that Andrea and Krys couldnt have been more helpful since day one! I am a business owner,and park my trucks and rent lockers from one of these girls on a daily basis,and have seen first hand on how someone is suppose deal with a customer let me say that it gets pretty busy in there,and sometimes and people arent always the most polite or nicest and they have always had a smile on there face it just good to know if I have a problem or need something I can go to one of them. Convenient location. Phenomenal customer service, the team at this location went above and beyond to understand our need and found the right storage unit. Although our situation changed in the need for the unit, I highly recommend this location for storage needs. Wow.. this place is awesome... I dont really write reviews... I am too hard to impress... this place and the people here are too good to be true... Charles Taylor help me find me the place... twice.. he actually walked to the end of the location to show me the space... I am coming here for second time.. and will come often..... I have all the best experience with Public Storage in Schiller Park. Great parking spot for a great rate, easy access in and out, close to major Expressways. Where else you can find more convenient location? And the office stuff is just awesome, quick, responsive and professional. Thank you Candice !!! You helped me a lot with my Parking Spot.
