Facility looks very new and well maintained. Had reserved a unit several days prior. Unfortunately I am not sure about the welcome that I received. An older gentleman had arrived there 40 seconds prior to me and, the person on staff was going to show him units available I assume. I was locked out of the sitting area/store region and informed I would have to wait in the hallway outside of the sitting area. This was fine since I figured standard procedure. 30 minutes later they return and they unlock the area and tell me I can have a seat in the store/sitting area. While the person finished up helping the gentleman that was shown the unit. A new couple arrived while that transaction was completed. When that transaction was completed I was asked for my information and I asked to see the unit prior to committing. Well I guess that the couple that came after me were not asked to wait in the hallway as I was or that area locked up as it was for me. This rubbed me the wrong way. Maybe I should have walked away after seeing the unit cancelling my reservation, but I understand since I am uncertain if it was the long hair that I have for the first time grown out. Or the possibility that I looked tired from battling a cold recently. I would hate to say that it was based on ethnicity. I will wait and see how my next visits go......

In general, moving is frustrating, physically demanding, and exhausting. But after moving out of my apartment this past weekend, I can tell you first hand that LifeStorage helped alleviate some of those stressors. The facility was immaculate, and I felt comfortable and assured from the start. There are carts available to help haul your belongings into the building (I rented a 10 ft truck and got everything unloaded and into the facility in 5-6 quick trips). The manager was good-humored and helpful; he walked me to my unit and made sure I was acquainted with the space before heading back to the office. Music and air fresheners made the ordinarily sterile place more amiable. This was my first storage experience, and it made a fantastic impression.

My husband and I have things that we needed to store. Eventually, we will move into a house, but, for now our condo it is... we have more stuff than space. We pass by LifeStorage daily..... After much procrastination, I checked out the facilities. Jason showed me around and answered all my questions. He is very professional and we feel very comfortable storing our things here. The building is well maintained, there are carts available for easy moving, the facility is well lit (motion sensor lighting), and it is climate controlled. The whole sign up process was quick and easy.... just wish we would have done it sooner!

I was recently in the market for some off-site storage. Being new to the process, I was very overwhelmed. Had it not been for my Administrators last minute choice to discard said materials Id be at the this location. Jason (store mgr) was very helpful. I had a list of questions that were answered in great detail w/o me having to ask. The facility was new and very inviting. Modern technology and state of the art equipment. 1 of our physicians left to start her own practice so well be moving to a smaller office this summer. I look forward to continuing the rental process here at Life Storage-Forest Park!

Made a reservation through the call center for a 5x5 unit. Received a confirmation call from Kelly, one of the managers at this location and stopped by an hour later. To say that I was impressed with the facilities and the staff is an understatement. The managers, Kelly and Jason are very pleasant as well as knowledgeable. The space feels warm and inviting. I felt very safe going to the storage unit, the air was fresh and the music was cool. Its a totally different atmosphere from other storage facilities. I would highly recommend this location!

I never write reviews but I appreciate great service. I cant really remember the young ladys name that works the front desk I believe it was Ashley or something similar, but what an outstanding and joyful personality. Not only was she willing to assist me but she did so with a great attitude because I know that I can be difficult sometimes with all my questions lol. Im leaving Chicago temporarily and in need of storage so I stopped in and Ashley was very informative of the location and the sizes I will need in the near future.

We had an excellent experience at the Forest Park Life Storage. Jason, the manager, did a great job of making us feel like family. He found us the perfect unit for our storage needs and made everything work out smoothly. We highly recommend this particular location and will refer friends and customers to them in the future. Jason told me his philosophy was that he treats all his customers the way he would want people to treat his own mother. Nice. Very nice.

We moved our belongings over from Public Storage due to their facility being outside and overpriced. There was even water damage which I have filed a claim for items that were damaged. LifeStorage is indoors, clean, more secure, have bathrooms on premises, and a much better value for the price. The manager is friendly and very helpful. They even have a special going on that sweetens the deal. I will be saving over $100 per month because of the move.

Was driving down the street from Portillos to my soon-to-be former home, thinking about where I could store my extra stuff. I saw this attractive green and black sign/building, and realized that this is a NEW storage facility, with plentiful parking. I checked it out, got 1/2 months rent for 3 months, no minimum, and a clean, climate controlled storage area. I could not be happier with this facility, and am so glad I happened upon it! Thank you!!!!

Service, service, service!! I would definitely recommend Life Storage! It is clean, well maintained, and professional. Above all, the service is superb! The gentleman who answered the phone answered all my questions and gave me the best advice. I felt like I was in good hands. When I arrived I worked with Ashley who was phenomenal in seeing me through to the end. I truly enjoyed My experience. I give Life Storage 5 stars, and Ashley gets 10!!!

Were really happy with the service at LifeStorage! The facility is like brand-new, super clean and well maintained. The manager is helpful and friendly, he was able to set us up with a unit right away and he walked us through the entire space to show us different features (like the dock and the offices available). The drive through option (you can drive your car into the facility) is really convenient for loading and unloading.

Great Facility!!! Very clean and neat. Looks like a new building. Manager and staff are extremely helpful and go above and beyond to provide great service. They also offer coffee and also other necessary items that make storing your items as simple as possible. Lastly, entry is easy but secure and they have security cameras inside and out. I am very happy that ive chosen LifeStorage to place my valuables.

Got off to a great start with this storage facility. Staff was very helpful at the front desk. Inside, the whole facility is very clean. The drive-in indoor access was especially helpful since I moved in on a bad weather day. Some other facilities Ive used I have used didnt have nearly as accessible hours. Being able to come in very early and very late really makes using the facility a lot easier.
