I had stored my things there for 7 years as I was living outside the country. I was told by my friend who was checking in on the storage that the lock had been cut off of there but since he did not know what I had in there the he could not tell me if anything was missing. When he informed them that the lock had been cut off he was told that they needed to get in there for something. He bought a new lock and informed me what happened. No one could tell me why the lock had been cut off. When I returned to get my things from there I notices things were missing. I mentioned it and said that I would give them a list once I was able to get an inventory after I moved my items to me new home out of state. I contacted them about the missing items and I have been put off over and over with no returned phone calls. The people there are very nice but my recommendation is to not use them if you are going to have your things there a long time. I lose over $20,000 in collectible items I had stored there so they could become more rare and sell them once I returned. Hard to lose so many things. Plus several items were broken when they wen through the locker.

The staff at the River Grove location are professional and caring. What I find to be most important in any place with which I do business, is the ability of those wanting my business to be personable. Everyone there is that and beyond. The staff are so helpful and knowledgeable. Many people have to utilize storage facilities for various reasons, and just knowing that your personal and valued possessions are guarded so well, and you are treated with respect and kindness is something that helps to set your mind at ease. The facilities are clean, neat and orderly.

Was referred by Kolovitz Moving. Unfortunately they were booked, but their storage recommendation was much appreciated. I first checked for google reviews and saw solid 5 Star ratings. The manager, Aracely, was great. Helped me find an easily accessible unit to cut down on the time to unload the moving truck. Also its under the tunnel to provide protection from the elements. Highly recommend this Self Storage facility and my hats off to the manager and her staff.

My experience with The Lock-Up in River Grove was A++. Moving is very stressful, yet the employees at RGLU made me feel at ease. Very friendly and helpful including referring me to a moving company in Oak Park who then referred me to the correct trucking company. Without the assistance of the employees at RGLU, I would have been lost. My move was a success thanks to them. Thank you and I would recommend this storage to anyone who wants excellent service.

I been a customer since April of this year, and the lady @the front desk is great, she help me with my move , it was so easy, specially with the Free Truck, I have a drive up unit in the Tunnel and is easy to drive to. I will recomend this storage to all my friends.

I stored there at the Rivergrove location and Takiyah and Val were a really big help.There units are very clean and they have more then enough carts so you can use to move youre items in. I will diffinty store my items there. Thank you ladies.

Love Lock UP Self Storage. Great facility and great to do business with. Very clean. I am renting non climate and climate room. Aracely is wonderful. I looked at many options and I felt this was the best.

Really well run facility. The two main folks that run it are very nice and sharp. Try to get a ground level storage unit if at all possible, worth the extra money.
