When in for a recall on my own 9 Subaru for the airbag made an appointment for 6:40 in the morning and the car to be dropped off the night before supposed to get a loner car never got back to me dropped off the car they didnt have a loner available I said I wanna go borrow a car from somebody else to give me a call soon as the car gets done next day all day no and no phone call Whats told the job is gonna take 3 and a 1/2 to 4 hours to complete 6:40 in the morning appointment 11 oclock latest should be done went to pick up the car 5 oclock after not hearing anything they just gotten it done so they had my car all d*** day then I had to wait another 20 minutes for them to finish the paperwork for them to tell me that they found that the cabin air filter was read needs to be replaced as soon as possible the engineer filter was read and used to be changed as soon as possible verified myself the next day theyre fine they dont need to be replaced the engine filter was a little dirty but doesnt need to be replaced they can wait until the next oil change which is a month away they tell me that I need for new tires yes my tires are worn but not to the point of which are emergency must replace courted me a $1000 for 4 tires modern and balanced and then argued with me when I told them I can go to NTV in Crystal Lake and get 4 new tires mounted and balanced for about 2:50 out door then proceeds to tell me that I buy that I would be that I would be buying s*** tires and not to do that lead list to say I will not go back they went and they destroyed a key for this car that I wanted to have cut which was an original silver OK so I ended up having to buy a key from them that was a fiasco but I left to go to times I brought my vehicle in 2 times very dissatisfied I will be going to brilliance Subaru in Crystal Lake from now on and I will not be returning to Gary Lang also I am tired of freaking getting text and email bombs from them which I will be taking care of if I receive another one it is astronomical and the funniest thing is that the next day I got a phone call telling me that my foot and car was done after I had already picked it up get your heads out your butt Gary Lang

My experience was FANTASTIC and would definitely recommend. Kyle Richards made the experience of buying the first car I bought completely on my own such an easy and seamless experience. Everything was transparent, everyone was very friendly / no pressure, and speaking with Kyle was like hanging out with one of my mates. This was my very first Subaru. I ordered a 17 WRX STi and he made it extremely easy to get everything I asked for. He / Derek Marquez even hooked me up getting vanity plates! The wait time sucked (which is known and expected when ordering this car), but DAMN was it worth it! To know the car you will get is specific to your wants and needs... The car is AWESOME! Will be back when its time to purchase an SUV for my fiance/future wife in the future.

This dealership needs to honor what they say. I bought my Subaru back in 2015. Nicole who is no longer there, told me she would add in a remote starter at no cost. Dont have that still. I purchased a 6,000 mile package for five times which includes oil change, tire rotation, break fluid and etc. I went there today to get my final oil change and etc that I purchased. They said since Im over 36,000 miles they wont honor it. I paid for this already!!! The last time I brought my car in I told them my passenger window is not working properly. They told they would look at it. They never did because the power window is not working from the driver side. They really looked at it. They probably will say thats not covered under warranty. I will never buy another car from them.

We have bought three vehicles from Gary Lang through Leo Lewitan. He is the best sales person we have ever worked with. My last purchase a 2017 Forester with eyesight, lane assist and blind spot is the best vehicle I have ever owned. I truly enjoy driving it. Leo matched me up with the perfect vehicle. When you are looking for a new vehicle, Leo is your man. He is very knowledgeable and caring. He is a friend for life once you work with him. Cannot say enough good things about him. He keeps in touch even after you have completed your deal with him and he truly cares about you and your satisfaction.

Bad first impression: no one welcomed us to the dealership. When one guy asked if we needed help, he wasnt too enthusiastic. Luckily, Joe came over and I will say that he has the most product knowledge of any salesman I have met in the last 10 years. Unfortunately, Gary Lang has an awful website - said there were 15 Crosstreks and 9 Outbacks. If you click on them, it shows each car that is supposedly in the inventory. They had ZERO of any on the lot!! Ugh, disappointing. Guess well have to go another Subaru dealership to test drive and buy. Dang, really had my hopes up.

Trying to get to a nearby funeral home and not familiar with the area. Had a prob w/my phone-radio-speaker system, found Gary Lang Subaru. BRIAN came out and helped. Kind, explained how to fix, and even gave me a spare charging cord he had in his car! How can you beat that for customer service! He should get a commendation from his boss for being kind to strangers. BRIAN is the type of sales rep all dealership owners should strive to have. And SUBARU should give BRIAN a commendation for making their brand even more excellent overall.

The overall experience here was decent. Leo Lewitan was our salesman and helped narrow us down to a vehicle. He helped put our wants and needs into a vehicle. My wife also liked how he catered to her, valued what she had to say and addressed her concerns instead of cutting her out of conversations which we experienced at other dealers. We also liked his no BS attitude when it came to the number crunch. I would look for this the next time we purchase a Subaru.

Our 2nd transaction with Gary Lang Subaru ended on a very good note! Began transparent, then bumped along with confusion about a request. However, was saved at the 11th hour by 4 individuals: Our sales person Sandy, customer experience George, finance coordinator Chris and the general manager Mike whom brought it all together to a harmonious conclusion. We love the Gary Lang Subaru service department! We love Subaru - amazing cars!
