Over 15 years have had many troubles with the carriers on my route from this office. Had one that struck my hand as I reached for a package that was mine...(said I couldnt touch my mail until she left the corridor...?? reported and reprimanded...) Same carrier....crams mail into cluster boxes, leaves boxes in corridor unattended, brings you the pink slip we missed you but not your certified mail (If she doesnt have to bother with ringing your buzzer and waiting for you she can get on to the rest of her route....its illegal!) ...caught her pulling this several times and again reported and reprimanded. Pulled trash out of the outgoing mail box.....instead of either taking it with her or leaving it in box...she chose to throw it on the floor (imagine your carrier tossing trash on your front step! unreal.....) ....and finally...same carrier....refused to take a prepaid box, first class mail because it was properly marked as biohazard . When I reported it to her supervisor at first he stuck up for her....until I read him the box label and the USPS code regarding the shipping of the box (biohazard because it was returning spent Humira Pens sealed in 4 different manners for safety.....) he then realized his carrier screwed up. She still refused to pick it up and as far as I know was either terminated or at least moved to a different route. As for the rest of the carriers we get....expect your mail anytime between 10:30a and 6:30pm...no consistent times. Oh...left out them not delivering a package Id been waiting for without ringing the buzzer...just left the pink slip When I called the PO....the carrier still had the package....I had to have them redeliver it......just decided not to leave it or ring my buzzer. How does that lady still have a job? (union......blah!)

The only reason this location didnt get the lowest rating of 1 star is because there are a couple of employees there that are very nice and helpful. After living in the area for 15 years, Ive had quite a bit of 1st hand experiences with the delivery services and walk-in location. The delivery people seem to get worse every year even though their jobs keep getting easier. Most locations are adding multi-boxes for communities where the carrier simply has to deliver the mail to those nests of locked boxes instead of walking house to house like they used to do. Even with the ease of simply delivering to these boxes, the carriers still mess up constantly and never fix errors. My box was literally at the end of the driveway and if I had a small package delivered that was too large for my mailbox (and the package box was already full) instead of walking 20 feet straight to my door and dropping it off, they would take the damn package back to the post office and make me come and get it! Ugh. So frustrating that simple service has disappeared. The WORST part of this location is that the do NOT answer the phone - EVER. Once exception was that in 15 years, I did have someone answer once and she was so incredibly rude, it left me dumbfounded and pissed off. It was the absolute worst phone service Id ever experienced in my life - which is probably why they simply dont answer the phone at all anymore. Heck, I seriously wouldnt be surprised if they didnt even have the phone plugged into the jack. A couple of nice counter workers... but over all, this is an absolutely horrid USPS service area.

This was the most insulting and frustrating experience that Ive had in a long time. After waiting for a package that was mailed by me to me at my home in Florida on Nov. 23rd, it was dropped on my doorstep back in Illinois with the obviously broken contents leaking out, marked undeliverable on Dec 12th. Apparently it had been thrown around and smashed in the box. I had called both the Florida and Illinois post offices to track it and was told that it would probably arrive but was taking a long time due to the season. The address was labeled clearly but the vd part of the Bvd was partially obsccured by the design on the label but still easy to see. When I brought it to the supervisor at this location, she said she thought it said Bud. Really? I didnt know there were roads called Buds. Common sense would have been to read it as BVD. What else would it have meant? So, the package took 3 weeks to come back because someone didnt have enough common sense to figure it out. I did not buy insurance for the contents so I did not expect to be compensated but I did ask for the postage to be refunded because if the incompetence of the carriers. After waiting about 25 minutes the supervisor tells me the postmaster was refusing a refund. All because someone may have thought Bvd ( I know I should have put BLVD!) said Bud. So, for $10.17 this postmaster Jackie, thought it was worth sending a customer away very angry rather than trying to make up for the nearly 3 week long mess made by the postal service.

Went here for passports and these people are awful. After the lady doing passports shouted Im not seeing anyone else. I went to speak to a manager as the time on the website said they were open for another hour. Matthew an employee actually pointed his finger at me and said we arrived late and snuck in. He said he locked the door right at 4. Clearly not because we were all standing there. He then approached my kids and pretty much called them liars and asked all the other people waiting if they saw us sneak in and if we came in together. So unprofessional and what an a## for approaching kids! Manager Martis was useless! I didnt want to stay to submit our application at this point because what are the chances it would have been done properly? Matthew needs to learn customer service and to own up to his mistakes! You didnt lock the door....apologize for the error and move on! No need to treat people badly! Never going back to that location.

I just wrote wrong my shipping address, which my order package couldnt be sent to me. I left messages for this carrier service, and came to the post office to correct it. The courier Lauren was very responsible and patient, she did her best to help me find the effective way to handle it. Also, she got the manager and other team members support and assistant. I was very impressed by such great team! When I checked my mailbox and found my package was already there. Its so exciting! The carrier guy is very responsible and wise too! If the carrier guy could response to my message, then both of the post office and me could save more time. If the phone service did work timely and patiently, then we could avoid to find the right person to listen it again. It seems that the best staffs hides behind the door, including the best supervisors.

The customer service should have an option here for review! They are horrible! Web site is a JOKE - absolutley useless - you are not allowed to complain about their horrific employees who should be fired and that includes the supervisors! Hold time is ridiculous! Go figure with government run entities, they are all the same. I used to feel sorry for them with all the budget cuts but now I am switching to all online for payments, may never buy a stamp again. At least know how to treat your customers, they are CUSTOMERS and they are paying for you to have a job! I am on hold for another hour like I have nothing better to do because the last rep told me my local office was closed and CLICK hung up! Didnt even ask what I needed.
