During the renovation of our house we moved to a small apartment temporarily and we needed storage place to store furniture, documents, kitchen ware etc... We looked several places and decided to rent a unit at he Public Storage in Skokie as it fit best for our need and price was right. Evelyn assisted me to check out the unit and sign the contract. As Evelyn was very knowledgeable on the lease terms it took no time to fill out and sign a lease and start using the space. Evelyn was very cheerful, courteous, helpful and pleasant. She also showed a lot of common sense to accommodate my rental need too. The facility is very clean and the two elevators and several huge flat beds (free to use) made the moving easy. The huge Indoor parking area is great to load and unload stuff even during a rain. Indoor air was fresh and everything was clean. I strongly recommend this nice indoor storage facility for anyones storage need - and especially if you care for your contents to be stored.

I feel All Public Storage facilities should be designed as this Storage Space in Skokie,Illinois...Its like a unique fortress...You do Not have to deal with the elements...they remain outside...you can do your moving without possible damage to your belongings from the elements. It is a very clean facility with ample space and a very attentive staff ,especially "Evelyn"...She has been very considerate,kind , and imformative...Very thankful for her and this location !☺Definitely 5 star so far !

I had to rent at this facility for a month as I was moving. The place was great. Michelle was very helpful in helping me figure out the right size unit and making sure I had all the supplies I needed. She made the whole rental and moving in process go smooth and fast. I worked with Ann when I moved out of my space there and she was very nice and helpful. Hopefully, I wont be moving again any time soon, but if I do I would definitely go back to this place. I had a great experience with them.

I have had a few units here for a long time and I have to say that I love the indoor parking available. The facility is what you would expect from a storage place. But service is always something I watch out for and what I get from Ann is always exceptional. She is friendly and apparently knows her company well and what she is talking about. She seems professional and has always addressed my concerns. If you have Ann serving you, you will be in very good hands. Stop by and say hello to her.

This review is for bond. I have stored here for a few months and every time I came, bond is always so helpful. Last week I had trouble carrying this one box. It was very heavy and all the carts were being use. I thought that I would either have to come back or wait around until someone is finish with it, but bond offer to help me get this box into my locker so I could continue my errands for the day. Im so glad that he help me and I really appreciate what you did for me. Thank you bond

I went to go drop some things off here thinking it would only take 10 mins and they only had one push cart to move so I was expected to wait until the two people in front of me went first. I ended up coming back and there were still people waiting. I ended up having my husband go to (LITERALLY) the next block to crafty beaver and buy a dolly for us to use. What a waste of time! It took us 10 minutes to get the dolly why cant they go next door and buy some push carts?

I came to the public storage facility inquiring about moving into a new storage unit. I had a lot of questions because I already had a storage unit with another company. I wanted to make sure I was making the right choice by moving my things here. A here nice and informative woman by the name of Katie helped me. She was able to answer all my question and even had some great suggestions for me. I definitely will continue to use public storage. Thanks

when my space was broken into and robbed, they didnt call my until WAY into the next day, and even then it was to ask me if I wanted to buy one of their locks to keep the door closed. rates just went up without notice, phone operators were curt, smug as frankly, bothered that I called them. Youve been warned- whatever they charge you, in whatever form, is non-negotiable in their eyes, and how they end their conversations about the matter.

I am the owner of a Pack & Ship business in Chicago and we do a lot of removals from and deliveries to storage facilities all around Chicagoland. This facility in Skokie is one of the cleanest and well managed facilities that we go into. Renee is extremely helpful allowing us to get our large truck positioned into the facility for efficient access to the storage lockers. She is very customer service oriented, helpful, and friendly.

I recently emptied and closed out by 5X5 space at this facility after 10 months. I found the staff to be both very helpful and accommodating. Renting this space allowed me to move from a 1900 square foot home into a one bedroom apt. It allowed me the time needed to decide what I chose to keep or dispose. It allowed me to keep my peace of mind. I live on Social Security, and cost did become prohibitive.

Hi marks generally but especially for Evelyn who make sure things are done right, done quickly and done with a smile. She give me the confidence to recommend Public Storage to friends and acquaintances when they ask (and they DO ask) and not be sorry I did so later. Im a long-time tenant here and have seen employees come and go. Believe me - you to NOT want to lose her!

Facility is nice, but I was promised my rate wouldnt change. Less than a year later they jacked up the price 30 bucks a month! Now theyre doing it again. Why? I dont know because they refuse to call me or my husband back. Weve called numerous times, and we dont live in the area anymore so we cant just swing by. Watch your backs here.
