This place does not give quality service. From everything I see, the work was shoddy and I did not receive what I paid to have done. Its terrible that you cant trust anybody to do something right. I paid for a tune-up, blade sharpening and oil flush. They charged me on a new carburetor and a blade replacement as well. I paid about $123 for all this and it took them about 10 days to do half an hours worth of work in repairs. The first thing I realized when I got home was that the screws to the engine cover were loose and coming out and they were lost in the yard. I had to go to Lowes to get this fixed before I got my grass cut even once. Then I realized that the grass wasnt being cut very well. I turned the mower over and found that the edge on the mower blade was as dull as the edge of a soup spoon. I paid for a sharp blade and they didnt do it. I had to get it sharpened myself. I also guess $19 does not buy you a new blade but this was a bit of a surprise as well. It was an old blade, the paint was chipping off and what they replaced my blade with was worse than what they took off. Makes me wonder what other surprises Im going to find down the road cause of shoddy workmanship.

I have done business with an number of small engine shops in Bloomington looking for a good mower. I have had many bad experiences and I was frustrated year after year being overcharged for bad mowers that lasted a season. AMH was a refreshing change to the treatment that I have had at other places. I bought a used mower "as is" from them. After a two months (not immediately) it started to stutter and lose power. I took the mower back to the guys at AMH and they took apart the engine and found a gasket that was cracked. They replaced it and did not charge me for the work. A company wiling to do this is hard to find anymore. I highly recommend AMHs for their integrity and quality of service. They are the shop to go to for anyone that is looking to get a good mower from a dealer that cares about the quality of their machines and work behind it. I will go back in the future.

Took my Troy-Bilt Trimmer that had stopped working into AMH and received exceptional service. They took my trimmer straight back, did some trouble shooting and found out it needed to be returned. They contacted the manufacturer, generated a letter and gave me instructions on how to return. They have a customer for life because of their ability to go above and beyond the way all companies should treat their customers.

Provides very honest and reasonably priced repairs; which has caused an abundance of business which causes them to be a little challenged with getting things done in a timely manner... however, Id rather have it done right than to have it done fast.
