I went in to have a slow leaking tire looked at. Two things of note while I was there: 1. One customer got 4 tires replaced for free because the shop had recently been having issues with the tires they sold her a year ago - and they gave her Good Years, so Im not sure what Yin is talking about in his bad review below. 2. After being there for an hour, the shop gave me my keys, apologized that it took so long, was honest about him forgetting about me, and told me there was no charge. Now THAT is honest and great service. I made a phone call after being there for 30 minutes and noticed my car was out front but just figured they had sprayed the tire and were letting it sit to identify the leak. Turns out it was done so I could have had my car 30 minutes earlier. They were busy so I wasnt concerned and after an hour, which I thought was reasonable, I got my tire plugged for free. If they didnt tell me I was forgotten, I would have gladly paid. Thats customer service, owning up to mistakes and doing right by the customer.

Great service! Ive been in with flats several times ( Bloomington construction!!! ) and theyve always patched me up and sent on my way without the least issue. Before I found them, I dreaded the auto mechanic as much as the dentist ... always knew when I had to go, there goes hundreds of dollars. With these guys, I dont dread it anymore since I trust them. Any car issues I have, Ill be taking to them. Note, ( since these guys have saved me so much money ) I wanted to mention that I have seen many types of tires for sale in the store ... though they havent tried to sell me on any of them. I even asked Do you think I need new tires to replace the ones that had a flat? Well, we can sell you them if you like, but you should be fine with the patch. And I have been.

Totally agree with htape-- great service, very friendly and honest. I went in with a mystery sound and they diagnosed it immediately, explained what it meant (and answered all my other car-related questions, too), and fixed it the next day. I was impressed that, during the course of our conversation, we talked about other things that I could have done to my car (like rotating the tires, checking the alignment), but they never tried to get me to fix anything besides what I asked them to fix. Instead, they just told me why I would want to do each repair, and left it at that. The only advice they gave me was to be careful about choosing shops in the future so I didnt get ripped off (since Im moving). Good people.

I find folks here to be straight forward and honest. Cars are complicated and the solution isnt always apparent. They are willing to work with you to get it right and at the best price they can offer. Too often at other places I have had to pay for a repair that didnt solve my problem and then I pay for another repair that didnt solve the problem and never do they acknowledge this and I lose more and more money. This is NOT true at Tire and Wheel! If the repair didnt solve the problem they often apply my payments to future repair or dont ask for more money when they do solve the problem. I have decided to return there for all of my repair needs!

These guys are the best in Bloomington - I went in with a flat, which I thought was due to picking up a nail or something small. Little did I know, the sidewall had been completely destroyed (thanks to a pothole, most likely). Although they werent able to plug the tire, they had ordered a new tire within 10 minutes and had it on the car by the next morning (Overnight FedEx/UPS). They were friendly, helpful, honest, and QUICK. Didnt try to rip me off or lure me into paying for any other services I didnt need - just fixed the tire and sent me on my way. Highly recommended - I wont go anywhere else in Bloomington for anything tire-related.

Took my truck in for an alignment and it was a waste of money. I put two brand new tires on my truck from another store, took to Tire and Wheel to have it aligned. Big mistake. The tires started showing wear after about a month. Took the truck back for them to align it properly, and they said I needed three hundred dollars in parts to correct it. I took my truck to High Speed tire for a second opinion, and they said all I needed was an alignment. So High Speed aligned my truck and it is all fine now except the wear on the tires from Tire and Wheel alignment.

Ive used Tire and Wheel for over 20 years. The previous owner (Dave) was delightful and funny. Would always remember my name when I came in and still does when I see him around town. New owners are filling his shoes nicely! Ive never had a problem with any of the work they have performed. I have taken both of my Volkswagens there for various issues. They have a rock-solid tech there that will take good care of your VW. This place and All Road Motorsports are the only places Ill take my VWs.

The best auto service shop I ever visited. Very respectful and humorous people. I had a tire swap on my new car and they didnt leave a single scratch on the wheels, which I was really worried about. Interior was as clean as before. They take care of your car. Reasonable price as well. Lots of shops dont give a penny about your car. They took care as if it were their car. Definitely recommend this place.

If you are looking for honest and hard working people who can take care of your auto work, this is the place to be. I took in my lancer and they took care of the problem so well. They were honest about the actual problem with my car and let you know the best price for parts. Now I feel comfortable in taking my car here for future needs. Thank you TNW

You really just feel like a handy member of the family is working on your car. They work on my truck, company car, and boat- and I wouldnt trust any of them with anyone else.

Friendly service, but when I arrived after making an appointment for an alignment it ended up taking over THREE hours! They did let me know they were running behind when I got there and offered a small discount when I left. Still a long time to wait - it was over an hour before they even took my car back to the garage.

I was looking for a shop able to do alignment for my lowered Infiniti G35 and I was glad that I was able to find one here in Bloomington. Other shops that I visited simply cant do alignment on my lowered cars. David and Tony took care of me although I came late. Glad I chose this place :)
