Liars. This shop lied to me about the state of my vehicle and demanded that I pay for extra and unnecessary services. If the proprietors of this shop are reading this review: Do you think that because Im a short little femme with a high voice that I wouldnt CHECK to see if my car was in the state you TOLD me it was in? Did you think that perhaps I would not know better? Do you suppose that I am not capable and competent to perform maintenance and replace parts on my own vehicle, simply because I CHOSE to patronize your business to save myself some degree of time and hard labour in the high heat of summer? What did you think would happen when you LIED TO ME about my car? And your line about "oh, it turns on and runs now because the tow truck jostled the wires" would be a LOT more convincing if the TOW DRIVER hadnt turned the car on and tested it IN. YOUR. PARKING. LOT. It would be significantly more convincing if checking the state of the wiring hadnt been one of the things I had done in my recent maintenance, particularly the grounds that would be causing the problem- assuming it wasnt a bad alternator of course. I brought my vehicle to you for a modicum of confirmation and convenience, as I do not have the time or tools at your disposal, but I did not bring it to you so that you could lie to me directly about what services you performed and what state my vehicle was in. And I certainly didnt bring it in so that you could like to me ABOUT your lies. You should be ASHAMED. Rest assured that I will never be giving you my money again, and that I will be telling everyone I know about your shoddy customer service. For. Shame.

I looked online for a place to take my traverse because my AC wasnt working and I have little ones, thought this place would be good because they had good reviews! I called and the guy was super nice and informative. However sadly I think I was wrong, the entire process was a mess. I took my car in on a Friday, It car needed a new hose.. it was a pretty pricy fix, 827 to be exact. We were told it would take three hours to fix.. we waited around and finally near closing we were told it wouldnt be done. Thats ok.. things happen. I get my car Monday and my lights dont work.. the tech forgot to plug in my lights. So I had to get all the kids ready and take my car back up to Christian brothers, then as Im driving down Kellogg my hood comes up.. he forgot to latch my hood back. That could have been dangerous. At this point Im starting to get a little irritated. The very next day after getting my car.. the AC stopped working. My husband takes it back in and finds out that freon was all over my engine. Apparently another hose got messed up.. Ill tell you that was most definitely from it getting worked on, I didnt have freon all over my engine prior to my car getting taken in. Im not happy at all that we had to pay for the part when this was their fault. Yeah they waved the hour labor and freon, but we shouldnt have had to pay for their mess up. I will add that I think its cool this place gives you rides to and from the shop.. thats amazing. The customer service was also good.. I hate to have to leave a not so good review, I never leave reviews on anything.

I brought my car in on a Sunday afternoon as my car was overheating. The next day i contacted them and they informed me that the issue was a hole in the radiator. This was later in the afternoon around 3 PM. I was told that they would get the part in and have the car ready that evening. When i was told this i asked the service guy if he was sure that he would have it completed since it was so late in the day. He said that it would not be a problem. I was not able to make it in by close so i went in to pick up my car at 7 AM on Tuesday. When i arrived i was told that they have not even received the part and that the car would not be ready possibly until Wednesday. I was told several times when checking in that they had received the part when in fact this was a lie. I will be honest i do not trust anyone at this location after this. You do not tell me an outright lie and then when i confront you make up some excuse. I truly hope this was just my interaction with them as i see they have great ratings but i cannot trust them at this point. Update 10/28/2016 - I just spoke with the owner Bob Morris. After speaking with Bob I have made a decision to give them another try. I do trust that Bob would not tolerate such behavior and feel comfortable with him and addressing this specific issue. Accordingly i changed my review as well. If anything changes i will update this review.

Completely lied to me about unnecessary repairs I did not need and offered no reasonable explanation as to how the "urgent repair" was completely unnecessary and that the day before when I brought my car in there was only one problem and now all the sudden my car has 3 other extremely expensive to repair issues. Told me they just "decided to take it upon themselves" to check in a completely different area of my car than the part needing fixed because it seemed like there was something wrong with that area. Intetestingly enough this just HAPPENED to be where they encountered the additional 3 issues. They even told me my steering line had a leak and my fluid was leaking and I needed to replace it IMMEDIATELY because it was severe and I would end up having no power steering along with the 2 other issues. Guess they didnt realize I am capable of checking these "problems " myself and can figure out that there is no problem with my hose leaking or any of the other suggested issues.

Like literally hundreds of your reviews my wife & I felt the same way....We walk in and felt immediately welcome to genuine hospitality & auto knowledge. Our problem was radio sound..thinking maybe a fuse..Three hrs later I was inform it was the car amplifier (2008 GMC Acadia) & the cost would be somewhere around $ 650.00. The next day I was presented with a final bill of $860.00. Heres a couple of 80 year olds presented with a bill close to $1000.00 dollars on a tight budget so did some checking. I called the local GMC dealer (Donovan Service) & was informed the total bill.would be $169.00. We called Christian Bros back had long talk with the store manager. He informed us that was the best they could do & that thier cost on the amplifier was $563.00. You the ones with the 5 stars make your own conclusions.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Christian Brothers Automotive! My husband had been encouraging me to try them out since he had been so happy with his service there. I usually have my car serviced at the dealership I purchased my vehicle from. When I realized my headlight was out, I just happened to pull in to see about getting an appointment. I had my kids in the car and was told it would take about 2 hours. When I told him I had 3 kids in my car, Robert, the service advisor came out to look at my headlight. He then went inside and came out with a new bulb and had it fixed within 2 minutes. Truly a gift to a busy mom! I am so very thankful for Christian Bros and their AMAZING service! I will be a forever customer! Thank you!
