Broke down on side of road July 28, 2015, picked up by wrecker 2 hours later and brought to AAMCO. We were greeted by the most helpful, courteous, personable staff we could ever have hoped for. We were only 2 1/2 hours from home on a 14 1/2 hour trip. It was 3:30 in the afternoon and these guys stopped all other production to put my moms car on the rack and immediately diagnose the problem as quickly as possible to get us back on the road. They were honest and as usual the southern hospitality was the best. They offered us drinks, went got gas for us, you name it and they were ready to serve. Thanks again you guys for everything and should you need car repairs whether you live in the area of going thru, this is the place to go. I will hopefully post pictures later of the great guys that helped us there. Home from Kentucky safe and sound, Thanks again!!!!

This review is for my experience at the Mandeville Aamco today. I have been driving around with one headlight for about 2 months after trying unsuccessfully to detach the dead bulb from the socket. I stopped by Aamco today on the off chance that they would not be busy and would be able to change my headlight bulb quickly. The owner, Randy, was so kind and helpful. He stood in the scorching sun assisting me for a sweltering 10 minutes. Finally, with the help of a few tools and Randys expert tutelage, I replaced the expired bulb successfully. A few "whoo hoos," and high fives later, I was on my way! Thank you Randy for the help! I shall return...next time to receive an auto service for which I will actually pay! Until we meet again...

the "36,000 mile, 36 month" warranty you receive with your transmission build is only good until you try and warranty your transmission. I didnt even make it home from the shop before my transmission went out. when I bought it back the guy had the nerve to come to me and say "how is it I can put a perfectly rebuilt transmission in your truck and 15 minutes later you completely destroy it." to which I replied "how many perfectly rebuilt transmissions have you seen tear up in 15 minutes?" they had to replace it twice until they finally told me there was nothing they could do and never offered a refund. never returning nor recommending.

This team is amazing! Spoke with Randy (owner) and explained what I needed to be done they gave me a quote on what I needed the most. This saved me hundreds of dollars and time. They will continue to get my business from here on out. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an honest team to work on your car. They really took the time to explain whats wrong and will help you get back on the road. Awesome Job guys!

Brought them my car with the check engine light on. They said it was my oxygen sensor and charged me $580 to replace it. The light came back on in a couple of weeks. After checking the problem a couple of times, they told me they couldnt fix the problem and I should take car to dealership. Even though they couldnt fix the car, they refused to refund my money. I will never deal with these dishonest guys again.

I would highly recommend this AAMCO location. My transmission was messed up and they were able to get me fixed up within 2days. The guys knew their stuff and the owner was very nice. They also gave me a fair price and didnt leave me feeling ripped off.
