I purchased my Toyota brand new from this location 6 years ago. It has been a wonderful car and only have I had "Wear and Tear" work done to it. (i.e. brake pads, oil changes, fluids, etc.) The staff is always friendly and they are flexible with your scheduling needs. However, since the summer 07 I have had two major issues that bothered me. First was the recall I had on my car. Im a pretty easy going person, so a recall isnt that big of a deal to me seeing as my car was a first year model at the time of purchase. I made the appointment a week ahead of time and made arrangements to hang out in Frederick for the day as it was going to take ~6 hours. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment and was told the truck with the supplies needed to perform my recall had not arrived and would be arriving shortly. Ok, Ill go across the street to have breakfast, was my thought. I received a call about an hour later that they had not arrived and they asked if I wanted to come back when it did. I left. Flash forward a few months later - considering the amount of phone calls made and not returned or questions unanswered I finally got my car taken care of. However, I had to talk to the head of the service department and get a free rental car out of it before I had any answers let alone satisfaction. Now like I said, I am pretty easy going. So when I had a noise start coming from the engine compartment, I took it in to find out the problem. I was told it was my fan belt that needed replaced and it would cost $171.00. I did not have the money at that time and so I went home and would make an appointment for later in the week. Now, I spoke with my husband who is fantastic with engine set ups; its his job, and come to find out, my car DOESNT even have a fan belt. My husband called to tell the mechanic/shop manager that he or they basically screwed me over. As the manager stumbled through the conversation with my husband he said that it was a different kind of belt and that of course it shouldnt cost that much to repair. Now, I like to think the best of people. But this made me feel like I was lied to because I was a female and this put my thoughts on DARCARS at a low respect rate. So, if you want to go there, they are quick and friendly. But theyll screw you in a heartbeat. Take your chances.

I was thrilled with my recent used car purchase. I ended up buying a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox LTZ AWD, 6-cyl and loaded with all the goodies! I was surprised at how much Chevy has advanced in technology (bluetooth / navigation / backup cam / DVD headrests, etc). Used car sales manager Vincent Seufert helped me on the phone in locating the perfect vehicle. He listened to my needs first... and THEN gave some recommendations. He worked with me and my credit / financing and was very helpful. Bruce Babazadeh was my salesman, and he was VERY knowledgable and professional! He spent time looking over the car I wanted BEFORE I arrived... so that when I showed up, he could show me everything about it. Great salesman, but wasnt pushy when I declined an optional DARCARS maintenance package (for additional $$$). Site note: All sales personnel at this dealership was SO courteous to my wife and preschool son while they waited for me to do paperwork and such. They offered them drinks and left them alone to play / color in the kid-friendly area inside the main Toyota dealership.

Do not waste your time here. Harry was the one who was showing me around and because of him I will never buy a toyota or any kind of car from the company in general. He never paid attention to what I said I was looking for nor what I said my price range was. He pretty much sent me on a wild goose chase. Once I did actually find what I liked, he did not relate to the financial team of what I wanted to pay and in what time frame. So when I looked at what I was going to pay versus what I wanted, there was a 200-300 dollar difference and they said Harry never related the message. When I confronted him (Harry) about it, he said he did not care if he had my business or not because he was one car away from a 25% commission. Are you serious!!! Thanks for a waste of my time!

We were surprised to discover that the used-car buying experience with Kevin was not only painless, but enjoyable. We did not experience any high-pressure tactics as was our fear upon visiting a dealership. We were greeted promptly and enthusiastically. We were allowed to make our decision on our own terms. It was an easy one considering the quality of the vehicle we purchased. We received fair terms for our trade-in and felt very well treated throughout the financing process. We will probably make the trek to Frederick when it is time to make our next vehicle purchase.

My car died on me, and I needed a new vehicle. It was a very stressful time, but Robert Harley took great care of me! He was fantastic, and did everything I could have ever ask for in a Salesmen. He showed me the cars that would work best for me, found me a great car, at a great price. I received the payment I needed, and Lifetime Protection Plan(oil changes, and many more things for free for life). I would recommend this Dealership to anyone! Vince the Manager was great, and Chris S. was awesome also! Dont look for a vehicle without stopping in here first!

The service I received when I went to Darcars totally exceeded my expectations. The sales team was not only friendly, but were very detail oriented in their knowledge of the cars they were selling. I didnt feel like just a number for their monthly quota, but actually felt treated as an individual whom they genuinely wanted to make the right purchase. Chris & James did a tremendous job, and Ill be telling my friends, family, co-workers, and readers of this site in the hunt for a vehicle thats the first and most likely only place theyll need to go.

Walked in to Darcars Toyota of Frederick with very little idea of what I could afford or what I even wanted to get! I was approached by a very friendly young man named Dennis Dawson. He was so helpful! He offered me a tasty beverage. We discussed which car I could afford, and collectively we decided on the New 2011 Toyota Coralla LE. I love the car. It runs smooth, and it is a fine looking automobile. The financing was effortless and affordable. 5 STARS ALL AROUND. Easiest and best car-buying experience of my life.

Im not sure what this last guy is talking about. This place is great! In fact I dealt with Vincent the Used Car Manager and I know he has been there for several years cause my Sister bought a car from him. I would highly recommend this place for a used car. If you can work with Wayne Spear that would be good for you. Shoot, it almost sounds like this last review was by a disgruntled ex-employee. If you look at his reviews, he trashes all of DARCARS. Anyway, I loved my experience and got a great deal!
