My 2002 Chrysler Sebring LX simply died while idling at a red light. It was made further awkward because Im deaf, making it difficult to communicate or obtain assistance. I had to walk through traffic to a nearby gas station, then I asked them to call the police as I needed help getting the car out of traffic. Soon, the police came, and they helped to push the car out of the way to the gas station. If I could leave a review for the police, I would! Once the car was out of the way, they called for a tow. The tow driver recommended Superior Auto services, and said they were honest, had good prices, definitely worth using. Superior Auto was a competitor of the tow drivers company, so I was surprised at the recommendation. The driver explained that they were booked to capacity and unable to take on additional clients, which is why they recommended a competitor. The tow driver called them on my behalf to confirm they were able and willing to look at my car. They confirmed. My car then was towed to Superior Auto. They didnt waste any time at all. A guy there named Jim Gray (assistant service manager) immediately got started on my car. He asked what happened. I explained to him that my car was in pretty bad shape, that I wanted to know if it was worth fixing. He then said hed take a look at the car TODAY. I was surprised, as many mechanics usually wait a few days before even taking a look at a car. He was extremely friendly and courteous. He offered a shuttle home so I could wait at home while they checked out the car. There was no charge for the shuttle. Simply amazing. I of course accepted. They took me home. The shuttle driver was very friendly, and was a remarkably smooth driver; I suspect I could learn a few driving tips from him. A few hours later, Jim sent me a text (due to my being deaf) and told me they had it up and running. They sent the shuttle to pick me up. As soon as I got there, Jim came out of the garage immediately and provided me with a detailed report of the issues my car had. It turns out it was due to a blown ignition fuse that my car failed to restart after it stalled. Jim informed me that my car was leaking transmission, oil, and coolant. Furthermore, he informed me that the leaks were major, that it had gotten on the belts, and so on. Pretty bad. Total estimated cost of repairs: $2,400. Of course, I winced, but I wasnt surprised. I knew my car was pretty bad off. Jim told me that while he would love to do the sale, he couldnt recommend fixing the car, that the cost to fix the car exceeded the value of the car. I found this admirable-- this guy could be milking me for all I was worth, and here was he telling me it wasnt worth pouring money into. The total cost for diagnosis, inspection, and replacement of the fuse was $104. We came to an arrangement for the bill. I walked out and drove off in my car in amazement. This was the first time in my life I met a honest, ethical mechanic who actually gave a damn. I plan on using Superior Auto permanently. They won a loyal customer out of me. I plan on recommending them to everyone I know. In fact, they come with my highest recommendations. If they ever in the future tell me something is wrong and that its pricey but worth fixing, Im trusting them. They definitely have earned my trust today. Ive already said this, but once again, they come with my highest recommendations. If youre in need for auto repairs, theyre the people to go to! You actually can trust them. Thats rare nowadays.

I took one of our few cars here. Thinking they were honest people with good value...but we were WRONG!!! They told me my car would be done same day..they then told me they "made a mistake" and my car was stuck in there for 2 days! After this they told me my car was missing a small part...which I then provided for them...while still standing outside...they said" its hot inside so our service guys wan a get home"...I was VERY disappointed..that with me in front of their office...they couldnt finish my car...then proceeded to tell me" why dont you just leave the car here"???? Now going on 3 days...with no work completed! Still charged me Full price...I was so upset that place of business would treat their clients this way!....I am a lawyer...and even I had no patients with them....they do NOT know anything about customer service or are not aware of what they promise their clients! I paid them took my car to another shop...and was serviced same day..with no problem.. Think twice before they lie and your car is stuck in there for a few days....would NEVER recommend this place to even my enemy! Take me seriously....they dont know what they are doing!

These guys rock. Recently I started my car (while parked in the garage) and it was leaking fuel. Then, died on me. After calling these guys, within two hours they arranged to have the car towed and by that afternoon provided me with an update. The next morning they called with an estimate for the repairs. Ironically, this happened the DAY BEFORE I left for vacation. Not only did they provide amazing service from the very beginning, but they took care of the repairs and the car was ready for pickup upon my return. This gave me peace of mind while I was away. They even came to my house to pick me up to get my car when I returned! Reasonable prices for work performed (replaced fuel filter, PCV valve, etc.) and the cars been running smoothly ever since. So happy with Superior and highly recommend them.

After living in the Frederick area for several years I was happy to find Superior! I was coming off an experience where getting my oil changed at a high volume oil change business didnt tell me I needed an alignment and had to purchase a new set of tires prematurely. Superior has great customer service. I really appreciate the time they spend explaining repairs and repair options. I appreciate and use their shuttle service. I appreciate that they are a full service shop and can take care of any repairs my cars need. The only small nit I have is that their price on parts can be a bit high. I also appreciate that their price for an oil change/tire rotation is reasonable- thats big for me!

Im not sure about the other negative review on here, Ive taken a few of my cars there several times and have had nothing but the best experiences with them. They have been pleasant to deal with, gotten work done promptly and in a timely manner. If its going to be more than a day to get it fixed they always call and let me know the status of the car and if there are any anticipated delays. The also take care of my car and make sure theres no greasy hand prints on it, or dirty rags left in it, or any other stuff like that. They also go over the bill with me and Ive never had to worry about them dreaming up extra or bogus charges like some other shops do.

I just want to say that Superior Auto Services are awesome! They have a great professional team. They always greet you with a smile and work around your schedule. Usually it is the same day service. One time I was there I was having a problem with my Subaru acting like it wanted to shut off but not all the time. They drove the car 13 miles before it would act up. How many auto services would do that.? Probably zero to one. I highly recommend them to anyone!! I will never take my car anywhere else. Also they were highly recommended to me. Thanks for keeping my Subaru running greatly appreciate everything you have done for me!!!! Margaret Heffner
