This was an excellent experience from the start where we met a very capable, friendly and professional woman named BJ. My husband and I are organizing and weeding out our home of 35 years of life collections. Some will go to charity, some to yard sales and some to be listed on eBay. But we needed a safe, clean and accessible place to store our belongings. We visited several different businesses. This Public Storage was hands down the best. Easy location off of 795, this new property has excellent security, is super clean and easy to use. BJ was terrific! She explained all of our options, gave us a tour of the property and showed us exactly how to access our storage space. She made sure that we understood how to use the equipment and security features. We are very happy with our new unit and highly recommend this place to everyone.

I have a storage unit here which was rented in October 2015. Immediately upon moving in, I noticed that a substantial portion of the lights in the hallway were out...which makes accessing my unit after dark particularly frightening. I reported the problem immediately, and was assured it would be fixed. Now, almost 6 weeks later, the repair has still not been done. I spoke with the property manager, who seemed completely unconcerned and basically told me she had no idea when it would actually be completed. I am paying good money for this unit, and this level of service is unacceptable. I have found the staff to be slow and unresponsive. Save yourself a headache....go to one of the many other storage units available within a mile of here...no doubt with much better customer service.

First time doing the storage thing and my intro was a bit interesting at first. I felt forced to sign up for almost everything in the book they had subscription-wise, but came to better understand the why afterwards. $11.00 for insurance, $20.00 for their cylinder lock... felt a bit exorbitant at first, but feels worth it now that I know the lock model makes for more stringent security (for a $28.00 monthly subscription for a 5x5 unit). An overall secure and near spotless facility with a reasonable and articulate manager. Ask specific questions for every charge if you are mindful of every penny you spend, and ask for every option in the book for everything you are charged for. This has been my best experience with a Public Storage EVER! The property manager and the entire staff were very friendly and professional and made sure that I was well informed before I moved into my new unit. The venue itself is kept very clean and monitored, and I had no trouble unloading my belongings. It has gate access and a large unloading space behind the building which was very convenient. I also really appreciate the hours because Ive had trouble before at other locations where they werent open late enough for me with my work schedule, but this locations hours are perfect. Overall, I have absolutely no complaints, and Im glad I made the decision that I made.

We were at our wits end because we are downsizing from a three level Townhome of 39 years to a one level Condo. We needed a staging area to help us sort out and keep what we need and dont need. Thus we happened upon Natarsha and Danielle at Dolfield Road Public Storage in Owings Mills, MD. What lifesavers they were! Not only were they knowledgeable and very professional about what we could be offered, they were very pleasant and enjoyable to work with. They made the process enjoyable and easy. I need a place quick to store some furniture and I found a great on the internet for this location. Their website was easy to use and really expedited the process. Not long after I reserved, I got a nice phone call from Margo who worked there, just confirming everything with me. When I cam in to fill out paperwork and look at the unit, Margo was extremely helpful and well informed in walking me through everything. Her attention to everything made me feel secure and made me feel shed be there to help with anything I needed.

B. J., the Public Storage Manager, was very professional, polite and courteous. She patiently awaited my late arrival. She demonstrated open & close procedure for the storage unit and allowed me to follow suite to ensure I knew how to do it. She also showed me how to access the storage unit from the front and back of the storage facility. Additionally, I purchased several packing supplies and B.J. helped me transport those items to my care. Overall, I would give B.J. a five star rating for excellent customer service.

Would send anyone I knew in need of storage unit space to this specific location and tell them to ask for BJ. It was very refreshing to not only be treated with great customer service. But that extra personal touch as well that makes you walk out smiling. And the most important for myself as a single mom of three with the youngest being 3. Both my daughter and myself were made to feel comfortable with added aid in keeping her happy as we did the boring stuff. Great store, great worker, check them out!

I have used many storage facilities but I have to say that this facility and the manager was by far my best experience overall. BJ was very helpful, understanding and knowledgeable in assisting me with the overall process of renting a unit, opening and closing the unit and figuring out what type/size boxes I needed. I will continue to use this storage facility because of the great experience I had with BJ. I will be recommending this storage facility to my family and friends as well.

I knew from our very first conversation over the phone, that I would recommend anyone needing public storage to give BJ, the property manager at this location a call or visit. She was very knowledgeable in the overall process of renting a storage unit.She explained everything from the beginning to the ending process.Including the walk in and all the different types of boxes that I would need. She is one of the best customer service person I know.

The check in process with Danielle was good, she was very pleasant and explained everything. My only issue is the extra monthly fee of $11 for insurance. This should have been disclosed upon checking rates and signing up online and to let you know if you already have a renters policy that covers a storage until you dont need this extra insurance. Also made to buy a $7.95 cover plastic cover that I dont think I need as I am storing plastic tubs.

Natarsha was very helpful and courteous; she was great. The facility is nice, but move in is very time consuming if you have a unit in the front of the building. They do not have adequate room to allow moving trucks to utilize front entrance. So we spent hours moving in when it should have taken 30 minutes. Also, we were asked to move our car out of an unmarked space in the front, to make room for "new customers that may want to walk in"
