I took my car out of the Fort Washington Auto Body shop on 11/19/13 and couldnt have been any happier with what I saw. I am writing this review--months later because before I spoke of their great service I wanted to make sure, I didnt find myself with parts of my car falling off two weeks later! LOL :) from my first call informing them that I was interested in putting my car in their shop till the day that I picked it up this Auto Body shop exemplified the top of the line customer service! From their pick up drivers to the receptionist, everyone seemed like family in this shop and they made you feel like such when visiting. Ms.Candy McNamara (hopefully Im spelling her name correctly) assisted me in the very beginning process of entering my car--which included speaking to me about any problems my car were having, doing a walk around and pointing things out, and she even gave me extra tips with being a new car owner. She made me feel like her daughter almost because she was informing me of a lot of things for my best interest, including other jobs the shops offer, how to get sap off my car etc! :) Debbie Mohler the receptionist always greeted me with a smile, and answered all of my 10000 questions all with a delightful tone. (Youd be surprised how much patient it requires to answer 1000 questions, smile and still sound welcoming) Dave Jenkins was my estimator and he walked me through everything as well. Jeremy Jenkins worked on my car, and I must say---everything looks spanking new, and I have yet to have any hidden surprises. One thing I will say---and this is of course for the sake of being completely honest, is that my car took a tad bit longer than we expected, but they kept me updated with a lot of phone calls and explained that (at least in my situation) they were doing everything necessary to rush the process with my insurance company! Note to people: Sometimes---- things take longer time than wed like, BUT I rather wait an extra few days, then to find myself without a car again in a matter of a few days! They were very professional and sweet the entire time! I definitely recommend them!!!

My CRV Honda was rear ended and the insurance company recommended Fort Washington Auto Body in Oxon Hill, Md I dropped it off on February 11, 2014. I was extremely surprised to find an exceptionally clean and professional office and reception area. That is very unusual for body and vehicle shops of any kind. To add to that experience was the pleasantness and friendliness of the people in the office. I had to leave my car and a rental car was also provided and they worked well with the shop and came there to pick me up. I was then called and told what work was to be performed and approximately how long it would take. To my surprise I got two text messages during the week giving me updates on the progress. When I got my car back at the same date promised, I was again met with the same crisp neat and friendly employees and a nice walk around the car with full explanations. That car has never been that clean...and they cleaned the inside...even smelled like new...howd they do that! The repair job and paint job were excellent. I was so pleased with the whole experience. And to add to that, several employees I encountered through out the event kept telling me about their warranty and reminding me to be aware of it and if such repairs due to their service needs redoing to be sure to bring it in and if I move cross country they will still pay for it. I dont think I have ever had such real customer service like this in years. Every other organization, business and service should learn from their example. Thank you Fort Washington Auto Body

I had an accident and it was the most horrible situation but I have to say the staff and all the employees were wonderful and they made my process so much better. I had an issue with the rental car but the manager of Fort Washington Auto Body took the time and listen to me with my concerns. The staff, Candy she was so awesome. She explained the procedure on what I am to expect and how to care for my car afterwards and Dave Jenkins told me how long it was going to take to get my car repaired. But most of all the whole body shop staff were so caring and professional with all their customers and they take the time to assist with the customers need. Thank you so much for all your help.

This is the first time I have ever felt a need to publicly acknowledge any company that has performed work for me BUT Fort Washington Auto Body Shop has lived up to every expressed and/or implied work and workmanship they promised. I was a little leery of the shop after reading the great reviews on line. They just couldnt be that good. After expressing my concerns, I was taken on a tour of the entire shop by a manager and introduced to the gentleman overseeing my repairs. I dont normally give anyone the 5 Star Treatment. But these folks earned it. from the initial inspection to the estimate and completion of the work, they were up front, friendly, and honest. they kept me informed all they way through the process and did excellent work. They made sure I was happy before I left with my truck. They are professional and knowledgeable. from coordinating with my insurance company to setting up my rental car they made it a hassle and worry free ordeal. not only would I recommend them, I would use them again, but hope I dont have too :)

I receive updates on the staus of my repairs, and they are timely with providing necessary information to my insurance company. Due to my recent run of "great" luck, I have used this shop 3x in the last 3-4 months for the same car! Possibly a fourth time since my second vehicle was hit while parked. Bad luck aside they have done a great job of keeping me informed by text and phone. The shop coordinated with the car rental company once I arrived with my vehicle and texted updates about my repair progress. Thanks Fort Washington Auto Body, anymore accidents and I will be asking for a volume discount.
