I was in a bind and needed a storage asap! It was my 1st move being on my own (Im 21) I wanted to find a location that was central to everything-- main roads, metro stations and transit at any time. This Extra Space Storage was perfect! At first i just wanted a small storage unit something not so costly..and plus I didnt have much space. I requested a 3x5 storage then when the storage attendant led me to it I knew it wasnt going to be enough room. The attendant was veryy NICE and made sure my needs were put 1st. He offered to give me a 4x5 storage that was climate controlled (the 3x5 was not) 1st month free, and the next month I would only have to pay the online special. I was THRILLED!! Usually people have less compansion for us " young adults" because its our time to "wise up, and experience the real world and real bills" LOL Believe me Ive heard it tooo many times! He fully accomodated me, and I truly appreciate it! He also gave me tips on who to call and send my resume to if I was looking for a job with ESS. There arent many people out there like this guy, and you can tell he takes pride in his company and goes over and beyond for customers!

I was in a jam and needed a space to rent right away. I looked at a couple of places and the price for the sizes I was shown didnt sit well with my wallet, so Extra Space Storage was going to be my last try and when I got there not only was it cleaner then the others places but the office even smells good, even better the prices are way better then the others places Ive been, Rosa Rivera is the one who helped me out she is the best, she is very friendly and she told me everything I needed to know to get started and they had everything I needed to finish packing and I was able to start storing my things that day I will be sure to refer this place to anyone I know that might need a place for storage and to speak with Rosa she will set you up with everything you will need. Thank you so much Rosa you dont know how much you have helped me that day. I give 11850 Parklawn Dr. Extra Space Storage 5 stars and I give Rosa 6 stars for her customer service and helping me out on that horrible day.

I decided to go with these guys over others for a number of reasons--but Ill list 4 big ones: 1) THE FACILITY and GROUNDS: Compared to about 5 other competitors in the area, this place by far, LOOKS the best, as in Well-tended, Clean, and modernized in terms of Security. 2)QUALITY MANAGMENT & STAFF: From the time I first called, the manager and staff have been prompt, courtesy, knowledgeable and professional across the board. 3) "CHECK IN": When I finally got there this week to see the unit I reserved, the gentleman at the desk, Duvall, was attentive, and at the ready- for whomever came through the door. (i had no exact time scheduled--so that, along with his hospitable, positive attitude, combined with everything else tells me thats how he and Extra Space Storage operate (not the case at other places Ive been to in area and county.) 4). NO SURPRISES: (no bad ones anyway) Everything is as expected if not better. super efficient too.

I have used a storage facility numerous times in my life, and this particular Extra Space Storage location is the best for understanding and meeting my needs. "Abu", the manager, could not be a nicer, more accommodating gentleman, and has helped me and worked with me tremendously over my years at this location with figuring out changes to make to my storage needs. I would recommend his services over and beyond other storage companies that I have used. (I also have 2 storage units out-of-town in another state, and wish that they were run by Abu!) Not only does the facility itself meet my storage requirements, but you wont find a better manager than Abu or customer service agents anywhere.

Love my storage place! The staff at Extra Space are very friendly and helpful. Also, the facility is as clean as it gets. I definitely would recommend them to anyone looking for a storage place. They have a manager on site 24 hrs a day 7 days week and secure gate access and video monitoring. Plus they have a ton of drive up units which come in very handy. The less lifting the better, I say. They also have alot of inside climate control units in all types of sizes. I think the smallest is a 5x5 and the biggest is 10x30 and a whole bunch of other sizes in between. So there is a size for everyone! Anyways I hope my review was helpful.

In a area saturated with storage options, Extra Storage Space stood out as being the safest, cleanest and most secure storage rental of ANY I visited in the area, by far. Shortly after deciding to rent a unit by completing the on-line unit reservation form, I received a call from the staff to review the terms of my agreement and answer questions I had regarding the unit. When I arrived a few weeks later with my stuff from Colorado, I was greeted by a friendly staff and a clean/odorless storage space for my valuables. After being on the road for days, I was glad to experience this smooth transition. Carl

This storage facility met all of my needs. Everyone staff member I came in contact with was extremely courteous and friendly. The facility itself is well kept. I was very impressed with them when they called me the day I was moving out when they noticed that my lock was off of my unit &a unit empty during their lock check. They wanted to make sure that I was in fact moving out so I wouldnt be charged for any additional months. That kind of customer service shows me that they truly care about their customers! Most definitely one of the easiest and most pleasant storage experiences Ive had!

Currently looking for a facility to store personal items due to temporary job relocation. Visited several places before I came upon this location. I was impressed at how clean the space was as well as the great customer service given by an associate named Dave. He took the time to show me several units and answered every question I had about security as well as the difference in unit sizes. Great customer service and very welcoming. I was impressed at how professional and knowledgeable he was, this will be the location I choose thanks to Dave.

I had a wonderful experience at this location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There was an instance when I forgot my secret pin to get in and I had to knock on the door of the on-site administrator since it was kind of an emergency. The lady opened the door after hours and helped me out very kindly. I was expecting a long face and a complain but even though it was late and I felt bad about it, the lady was really nice and got me going. I am grateful to these hard working folks at 11850 Parklawn Drive in Rockville.
