Totally disappointment, I have never write a bad review but the manager of this place was very RUDE & make me feel encouraged to share this bad experience so you are AWARE what are you getting into, by experience and research you are NOT REQUIRED to buy their insurance, if you have home insurance you are most likely already insured for your staff , (I called my insurance just to make sure before arriving to this public storage they even provide me policy info) well when he started to get our info and finally offer the insurance and we provide our insurance his mood begin to change oh god he start to be rude, then he pulled a padlock and told us the price of $23 for disk padlock, when I show him new master disk padlock we got at home depot way better quality than his (exact same padlock the only difference was the material, way better Master padlocks) ohh god the guy begin to be so RUDE saying that only his padlock were allow there even know they were same and that sell it was part of it , I told him that in any contract of public storage there is not requirement to use ether their padlock and insurance he just begin to imply that we were only trying to get storage unit for cheap when we where just trying to rent a 10x10 unit ($170)for 6 months, PLEASE be aware that YOU ARE NOT REQUIRE TO BUY THEIR INSURANCE AND THEIR PADLOCKS, buy the same kind of padlocks they sale over the counter in homedepot at half the price, if you research in internet you will find that public storage is been sued for trying to force the insurance to his clients and also the fact that people that ever got broken into his unit were never paid by their insurance just google "public storage insurance" and you will see! make your self a favor and check with your current home insurance company, dont pay double, even better go the other public storage in Vandor St & picket, way better service very friendly A/C and not issue at all in using our insurance and padlocks, actually you will find it even more secure & clean than the other public storage,

The Residental Manager that was here use to be one of the managers here along with a middle eastern fellow and the current manager who is here now Dani. (Shes great too now hate in the matter) Well after hours he allow me to use the carts at this facility even though they are only available during business hours. Before they didnt use to lock them up but it is so good that they do because you could never find one. I asked him why does he not work at this store when he resides right here. He said his that title doesnt allow him too. I think that is dumb to live onsite and then work somewhere else. But yeah anyways as in the past Shaq has been great here. On and Off Hours. And his managers should consider placing him back.

My boyfriend and I had a great experience with Public Storage. The customer service was great and everything was very easy and efficient. Shaq was extremely helpful and really knew his job, he made it very easy for me to get the right storage space we needed. The paper work was explained very well and in a very professional way. Shaq even looked around at other Public Storage locations in order to find me the best deal, We ended up staying with his store due to his customer care and streamlined / transparent service. Awesome employee and very considerate and helpful. The unit was clean and easy to access and the month to month rental is very convenient.

Using Public Storage was a last minute decision in a bad situation. I called up their customer service and they were so helpful. It was nice to speak with someone so kind and well informed when you are in the middle of a difficult predicament. I went to this location and the gentleman who helped me, Shaq, was so incredibly nice. He was kind and helpful and didnt mind that I arrived minutes before closing. The customer service experience was wonderful from beginning to end. Kindness is always appreciated, but especially when you are having a bad week. I highly recommend Public Storage and this location in particular.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE E-V-E-R!!! I walked up 2 the door during biz hrs & the door was locked but employee inside. I looked inside & he got up & opened the door. He mustve been upset that his snooze-time was interrupted bcuz he was rude the entire time. Ex. Another customer came in after me & he stopped & helped the other person then turned back 2 me & said he wasnt going 2 help me! The employee named, Anjur, insulted me saying he wasnt doing biz w/me bcuz my head couldnt comprehend his broken language & poor communication skills!!! SAY WHAT??? THIS MAN IS CRAZY!!! The company looses business over foolishness like this!!!

I had a wonderful experience at the 401 South Pickett St. Alexandria, VA location ...And happy that I decided to pick this location ..Ms .Danielle was awesome with my family and I ...patient good customer service from the time I called she was and is a five star....She explain everything to me made me feel secure with my. Things that I was bringing in ...and on top of that I needed help with my lock and she came out to help me with a smile ....She also called and introduced herself to me ....I love this location ....

1st time storage unit renter and I made my reservation online. I was slightly intimidated but the website was detailed and Shaq provided amazing customer service at the business office. Shaq was so impressive I offered him a job at my company (and if you are reading this, and havent received a raise from Public Storage for your outstanding customer service skills and communication, call me!) I will definitely recommend others to use this location.

My experience was great. I appreciate the prompt confirmation call from the representative working at the site I received right after I made my reservation through the 1-800 number. Once on site, Kitwan was very friendly greeting me and made the rental process smooth. The transaction was swift and I felt comfortable knowing that theres a great team managing this location where my possessions will be stored. Definitely worth it. Two thumbs up!

The facility is clean and the people are friendly however the corporate office raised the rent suddenly by over $50! Now granted, the first few years the rent went up 7-13 dollars but a sudden increase like $50 is absurd. I moved out and got a guarantee on increases from another firm. Aside from the cost adjustment, I didnt experience any other issue. But woe to the customer who may be deployed and cant move and must eat that new rate.

I was assisted by the property manager, Kitwan Harrington. He was friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable. The property was well kept and the unit that I was shown was clean. Even though, I realized renting a unit closer to my house was best, Kitwan still went the extra mile to answer my questions. Because of his help, my rental process at the other location was smooth. Thanks!!! Great job!

The in-store public storage person, Ms Danielle, was professional, polite, nice and courteous. She explained everything to me and showed me the storage area that I was renting. This is a nice location, well lit, and the people here are professional & friendly. I highly recommend others to rent storage space here. Five stars for sure! Thanks!!
