These people are unbelievable. The products and customer service are horrible. The most recent issue was today. We were not getting OnDemand and about a dozen channels on two of our six cable boxes. My autistic child watches shows OnDemand regular which helps calm and focuses him. We called RCN and after an hour of turning the boxes on and off and unplugging and plugging them back in we ended up with no channels what so ever on either TV. Something they did at RCN during the call screwed something up and the best they can do is schedule an appointment for a couple days out. This is total unacceptable, we pay RCN over $300 a month. STAY FAR AWAY FROM RCN. You will lose your $ and your mind dealing with these people.

Is there an industry that people hate as much as cable companies? No fault of the people working here, but the whole setup makes you feel extremely unsecure. Customers park in the back next to the dump; while RCN employees park in the front. Who thought of that. The employees are behind thick glass and you pass them your equipment through a highly secure wall-cabinet. If it is so dangerous back here, why do you expose me?

My modem stopped working randomly. I drove to RCN and they gave me a new modem no questions asked and fast. I didnt have to wait in a ridiculous line or anything. 2 out of the 3 times I called RCN I was connected almost immediately with someone. I am very impressed with the customer service and as for my cable and internet I LOVE IT.

The best part of RCN was the that you can record 4 things at once with the TiVo Box... but you can not get Netflix with it... only if you buy your box from TiVo... Service was terrible.... for a little extra money you can get more from Comcast and be happy.... RCN is definitely not worth it....Direct TV or Comcast only

This is a pure internet based company. You can not get anyone on their 800 number. Something is wrong with their systems and you are stuck. Use Comcast or anyone else. Stay away from this dog of a service..

Great customer service. RCN is the only service provider I know of that has Netflix integrated into their devices now I can stream movies in every room. The internet is super fast.
