This is a review for the Worcester support center) Charter internet has been much faster and more reliable then other ISPs I have had in the US. They offer reasonable speeds (65 Mbps) in their lower tier pricing. Unlike other ISPs which try and pretend that 5 Mbps is actually a viable option at the same price. (I am looking at you Xfinity). We also had an excellent experience with their setup team. We recently moved into a newly renovated house that had entirely new wiring. After the initial setup, we kept having the internet drop out for large gaps of time. The charter support team always sent a technician the next day. Over the course of a week, we were elevated to the higher tier support team who were at the house for huge stretches. We were given a direct phone and email number and they got back to use, even on nights and weekends. The ended up replacing all cabling and connections inside and outside our house, and some parts of the neighborhood, at no cost to us. They continued to monitor us for the next week and would stop in to make sure that it was still working. Not only did they solve a very difficult bug, caused by the houses wiring and not their, they did it with some of the most friendly and knowledgeable techs I have met.

I would give Charter zero stars if I could. Where to start, I have to reset my Internet at least once a day and its very slow when it is "working". Cable is out often. Customer service is terrible. One rep in my house was the rudest most offensive human Ive ever met. One rep on the phone argued with me about how slow my service was, I told him nothing was loading and all he said was on his end I had great service and was actually getting more than I pay for so I should be happy. Ive never been more unhappy with a Internet/cable service. If I could switch I would in a heartbeat but unfortunately they are my only option. I am seriously considering going without cable/Internet!

Sure wish there was a no star rating here. They came out 7/01/17 to hook up new service. The guy actually left without either tv or internet working. We called and were told to call back at 9:15 that evening to activate it. We called, but were told yo call back the next morning. Weve been on the phone with these people 6 times and have gotten nothing but the run around. Twice we were told someone would cal back within 90 minutes so set up an appointment. That never happened. The last time we were told maybe they could get out Fri 7/07/17 to look at it. What a way to run a business!!

The cable connection constantly pauses throughout programs on both live and DVRd shows. It is very frustrating to watch a program only to have a plot point disrupted and completely missed due to charters incompetence! However, this is the only cable service available in the Worcester, MA area...talk about a monopoly! (Someone in the Worcester political scene is getting their pockets lined! ) I know people in different areas with other cable options that do not have the same issue. We need more cable options in the Worcester area. They charge way too much for sub-optimal service!

I decided to stop in store instead of sitting on hold with customer service. It was very clean inside, but the staff was far from attentive. I waited 20 minutes to be helped and at that point had to leave because I would have been late for work. When I asked for info regarding plans the associate would not provide it without first creating a customer profile. They also did not have any information on paper.

Not helpful at all. They told me I could not cancel cable because I had one DVR box,with some shows I wanted to finish watching and not actually hooked to the cable outlet for months, and which they charge for separately anyway. I then called the company (another long story there for another time) and they canceled my service and told me I could drop off the box whenever I wanted. Hilarious.

Im currently at this location and there are people standing every where because there is only 4 seats total. You have to wait 20 minutes to pay your bill.. Return your equipment. People drive here to wait. This should be a quick in and out thing. Why are they so slow.. Only three employees taking people. There are six desks though. Maybe they should hire more employees. They charge way too much for sub-optimal service! Internet goes away during rainy weather, which is when the internet is most NEEDED! They need to keep up with the program! We can get wifi from neighbor better than our own! About to go over to ask her who does she get internet service from.... Probably Verizon! Eh?

Just needed to do a simple equipment return. I waited over 45 minutes to hand in my modem. They had 6 desks set up for service, and only two employees helping people. Unbelievable. Avoid going to this or any service center if possible.

Worst TV/Internet provider Ive ever had. Been to the house 20+ times, still issues with quality on the TV. For Internet we pay for the upper tier since we both work from home and have continual issues. Would not recommend to anyone!

I took a temporary job working from home on the computer. Since it started on February16 my internet has gone out 3 times and cost me close to $500 and counting. I am changing my service to anyone else that is in the area tomorrow.
