FROM MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND STORAGE PROS KALAMAZOO OR STORAGE PROS PORTAGE TO ANYONE. I WENT TO VIEW A UNIT ON A SATURDAY AND AFTER SPEAKING WITH LIVONIA ABOUT MY MOVE IN FOR A WEDNESDAY SHE SAID THAT I COULD JUST PREPAY NOW SO THAT I DIDNT HAVE TO DRIVE BACK AND FORTH SEVERAL TIMES ON THE DAY OF MOVE IN. STORAGE PROS KALAMAZOO AND STORAGE PROS PORTAGE SHARE THEIR FREE RENTAL TRUCK. I NEEDED THE TRUCK IN THE MORNING ON WEDNESDAY SO SHE CALLED TO CONFIRM THAT I COULD GET THE TRUCK WEDNESDAY MORNING. I TOLD BOTH KRIS AT STORAGE PROS KALAMAZOO AND LIVONIA AT STORAGE PROS PORTAGE THAT THIS MOVE WAS STRICTLY BASED ON ME GETTING THE TRUCK IN THE MORNING BECAUSE THAT WAS THE ONLY DAY WE HAD AVAILABLE. TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT THE TRUCK BROKE DOWN, I WASNT ABLE TO MOVE IN AND THEY SAID THEYRE KEEPING MY MONEY BECAUSE THEY DONT REFUNDS AND I SHOULD GET MY THINGS HERE IN MY CAR. THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME A REFUND FOR A UNIT THAT I WAS NEVER ABLE TO USE AND SAID TAKE IT AS A LOST. SOME BUSINESS!! BEWARE PEOPLE

Three years ago I was looking in Kalamazoo for a storage facility and there were several choices. The prices were a bit higher but I was most impressed with the site manager, Kris Barnett. The facility was well run and very clean. I chose a climate controlled unit. Last year, just as I was about to arrange for another year, the facility changed hands to Storage Pros and I was quite concerned about the new ownership. Kris reassured me that there would be the same quality level. She is always there, very helpful, very professional. Frankly, her management is what makes the difference for me. I feel like my possessions are in very good hands. I hope to continue there for years to come.

I rented a unit from them without telling me 2 days later the company had been sold/take over by cube smart now I have to do the paper work again and I no longer get to use their free truck to move my things, now the truck is broke down and they arent fixing it so I have a storage locking Im paying for and cant put anything in it because I drive a 2 door hatchback I cant fit anything in it. So after I was promised to use the truck while signing papers now I cant 3 days later so they are not holding up their end of the contract. Thats bad business and the word will be spread how their operation is be run. You have been warned.

My husband and I have rented storage space for the last 5 plus years (pre Storage Pros) and have always had the best service, attention, care, and even a sense of humor from Kristi. She always went out of her way with a personal touch whenever we needed information or anything else for that matter. While we presently are no longer in need of the wonderful service that Storage Pros provides, we will happily refer others to them. We have used many storage facilities over the years, but we can honestly say that we have never been happier than when we rented from this location. Keep up the great work, Kristi!

Pros: Staff is awesome and friendly, clean facilities. Cons: They build a climate control building, but then raise the rates for everyone it seems, to pay for it. Now it appears theyre going to build a new office, when the old one seems fine. Im just afraid theyll raise the rates for everyone again to pay for that. Their prices seem just a little higher then every other facility in the area already. They dont seem to offer enough deals to current customers, except maybe 5% off if you pay a WHOLE YEAR in advance? They apparently dont remember that Michigan is suffering bad economically or just dont care.

I am a new customer to Storage Pros. I have found the entire staff there to be professional and friendly.The facility is easily accessible, well maintained, secure and rental prices are reasonable. I was extremely impressed with the climate control units although I did not take advantage of renting one. I especially appreciate the consideration of the staff when there were special circumstances that prevented me from using the truck at the reserved time. I look forward to continued relationship with Storage Pros. I highly recommend Storage Pros to anyone considering the use of a storage facility.

I have been a customer several times over the past 8 years of this storage facility. When it came time to rent a storage space for an upcoming renovation in my home, I came back to this location because I had always had a great experience here. I was especially glad to see Kristi again because she has always been very professional, friendly and helpful - very customer oriented. She goes the extra mile to make sure she is always helping the customer - something you do not find very often today. I highly recommend this facility to any of my friends who are looking for a storage facility.

I chose this Storage facility because of its convenience, professionalism and cleanliness. The staff were friendly, professional and went out of their way to make sure this transaction went smoothly and easily. I used the auto pay program which was extremely convenient, as I was out of the country during the time that I rented a space at this location! Because of the staff of the Kalamazoo location I am now a fan of "Storage Pros", and I will definitely use this company again should I ever have a need for storage again!

I chose Storage Pros, as the location was convenient, as well as clean and secure. The staff was very professional, and polite. I was well taken care of, and was walked through step by step through everything from signing up, to seeing the inside of my unit. I also received a free complementary truck rental to move in, and free pallets to stack my things on in the unit. This place is worth the price, and all my needs were covered. I highly recommend the Kalamazoo Storage Pros! Top Notch! :)

Ive been using Storage Pros for more than 2 years now and I love it! Especially how clean and secure it is with the safety precautions and cameras. It kept my things safe and I like how some of the storages have 2 entrances so it would be easier to get things that are too close to the other end of the storage. Plus, the staff are very nice and welcoming. But most of all, I like that there are different sizes of storage so people with a smaller storage could save money! ^^

Clean, secure facilities, friendly staff, reasonable pricing. Ive had to store things a few times and theyve treated me well. Started when they were Storage Pros. The name is different now, but its still the same staff and buildings. The staff know your name, even if you only come in once a month to pay the rent. They even gave me two days of overnight access when I first got a unit, so that I could still move my stuff in around my work schedule. It was a nice gesture.

I have been a customer since the pre-Storage Pro days. The transition went smoothly and my concerns were met with excellent customer service. Since the transition, we have added and moved to a different storage unit, I found the process well managed and all of our needs met. The staff have gone out of their way to make us feel comfortable entrusting our belongings in their care. I highly recommend this facility for anyone needing short or long term storage.
