Wonderful experience from all of the staff, including Jim. He is very knowledgeable on foreign vehicles, including Volkswagens, and has been very helpful with the problems on my car. Im a young college student with no knowledge at all about cars so any time I have a problem, I bring it right in to the shop because he is always willing to help figure out the problem. I have a 98 Volkswagen Beetle and have had many problems with it in the past few months. Any questions I have Jim always has an answer for. I even spent extra money on a tow because theres no one else I trust more than this shop. Not once have I been dissatisfied with my service at Livonia Auto Tech and I will always take my vehicles there for any problem I have because this is a place anyone can trust. I dont think I could thank Jim enough for all of the hard work he has put into my car. No one has put this much time and effort into helping me and I will forever be grateful for that. Also, the prices are great and affordable and I recommend everyone to go here at least once. I promise you wont be disappointed.

Coming from a family of mechanics, I am used to seeing the run around with most shops. Please do not believe all of the negative reviews on here. The front man Mike is the nicest guy and super down to Earth. He knows his stuff and will not BS you on things you dont need. I needed both inner and outer tie rods replaced, an alignment and a new oil filter. It was $409 out the door. I was expecting way more, and for my car to be there for at least 2 or 3 days. He ordered the parts the night before, trusting I would be there the next morning for it to be worked on. It was done THE SAME DAY!! I have never had my car fixed the same day before. If you are looking for a place to be treated like family and reliable guys, please go here!

Having a loyal trustworthy mechanic can be stressful and hard to come by. I know, Ive been all over the place until 2 years ago I found Jim over at livonia Auto Tech. This guy is not only the best in the business but a man of true character, courtesy, and integrity. He strives on making his customers happy and welcomes challenges and wont stop until theyre remedied. I consider Jim more of a friend now than my mechanic and I strongly encourage you to bring your car care needs to Jim over at Livonia Auto Tech.

My experience was absolutely amazing with Jim and Samer. Samer in particular, helped me get on the extended warranty companys agents to pay for the services rendered (due to my tight schedule) and also went the extra mile to pick up the replaced parts from the dealership (which he didnt have to) and then fixed up my car real good. I will recommend Livonia Auto Tech to anyone I know because of their honesty and ability to go over and beyond expectations to make the customer happy. Keep up the good work.

Went to talk to Jim to compare photos of my wires and to let him point out the work he did. He showed me where he fixed the wires and he took time to discuss the situation and the work done in the past, and he gave me tips on how to keep nasty little wire chewing rodents from my car. He seemed sincere enough for me to believe him, so Id give this place another try.

Went there for a oil change, Came out with a busted brake line fluid. A oil change cost 250 dls. No would not recommend..
