Positives: The staff at Public Storage I’ve encountered were Donette and Marissa. Both were very helpful in the transitioning from of storage spaces, and the overall experience was great. Donette followed up after moving in originally with a “How is everything going” phone call to make sure I didn’t need anything more. I really appreciated that. And Marissa who was also helpful and patient with me in answering all questions, showing me around the property, showing me different options and most of all being very clear about the billing and offering that I take advantage of whatever offers were available to me for the materials I needed to store. The storage units are kept up well. I recommend the Golden Valley Public Storage and the employees there are very helpful. You wont be disappointed. Negatives: would be how extremely cold the units are inside during the cold months, and the lack of platform deck dolly’s available if multiple people are moving in and or out.

I had done quite a bit of research online and over the phone to find a good place for storage. I went to this location in Golden Valley as I live close by but I thought that walking in rather than just calling would be better. I was fortunate to be assisted by Marissa who is one of the managers there. She was most helpful and patient with me in answering all questions, showing me around the property, different options and most of all being very clear about the billing and making me take advantage of whatever offers were on the table. She even assisted me and coordinated the arrival of our PODS container to be dropped and picked up with the most willing attitude. If you go to this location either Marissa or Donette will be wonderful to deal with. They make you feel comfortable and will answer all your questions in a timely manner. Marissa has been of great help and I command her for great customer service approach. This company is lucky to have her on board.

I have been at this storage unit since I found out I had one which was probably 5 maybe six. I know I paid for it. Once my grandparents died I paid for it for a awhile and got my own and the transition was so easy! Mary Rose could have made it hard but she didnt! I stayed there for about 3 months and the rent was getting to high and I needed a non expensive one. So when we dragged everything out and tried to leave we had some trouble and was going to have to pay the whole month but after me and my husband talked to Mary Rose, she took upon it herself to help us only pay for six days and explained everything clearly. My husband was upset with her but she was so helpful and explained everything. If you try and move out make sure you talk to her and DO NOT do it online. Its a pain in the a**. Talk to MARY ROSE! Sweet and wonderful lady! Helps and works with you and what you need! Thank you Mary Rose for making it so easy!!!

Not very good service, gate broke and it took them over 2 months to fix it-leaving all of our stuff unsecured. When the get was finally fixed the code to get in didnt work, I got here before office hour so had to wait over an hour just for the office to open just so I could get in. Make sure to check what you get charged, they tried to over charge us every month we rented a storage. One day we went in and our locker had 2 locks on it for no reason. Considering we rented for just 3 months and all of this happened, I would NEVER rent from this Public Storage again!!

I was just looking for a non musty smelling place to store some stuff for a bit. Crystal and Mariah were very helpful. I first looked at the place and asked Crystal if i could smell the spot. She let me and it smell good. after i signed up online, i was assigned a different spot then what was shown to me. i showed up again and asked Crystal if i could smell that spot too. She took it all in stride and understood where i was coming from. i was even able to move rooms (not because of smell, just a closer location). Easy access and still smelling like wood in there.

Ive been doing customer service for at least 15 years... And Ive seen a lot of people with and without good customer service, but so far... Mary, over at this public storage has the best customer service that I have ever experienced; within my top 3 in the United states. Number one in MN, shes fast paced, easy to work with and always willing to help. Without her being up beat and positive all the time, she would still be within my top 3. Ill tell you right now, I will recruit her when I start my business for she has something that all businesses need!

I like how they manage on keeping me on my toes, by reminding me that i can go on line to pay or a different location when I cant make it out to Golden Valley. and when my paid date run a day after my due date your associates are so friendly and understanding just call and let them know thats all they ask and Donette alway make you feel welcome when i come in the store she know me by name I feel good and glad that I pick (Public Storage Golden Valley) long time customer.

My boyfriend and I were moving from renting a large home to a small apartment. Needless to say we had too much stuff and no where to put it. It was a last minute decision to get a storage unit and Mary Roses place was very accommodating. We got the unit we needed that day. It was so quick and easy which is what we needed. Thanks Mary Rose for being so accommodating and knowledgeable. You made life much EASIER for us!

Horrible customer service. The Lady that was working when me and my wife were there was extremely rude. She called us to set up a n appointment and we were a few minuets away, from the second I answered the phone I could tell that she had a really horrible attitude. I will never go back to this place nor would I recommend anyone else too. Horrible, horrible service. The ladys name was Michelle.

I would like to thank Mary Rose, for her patience and excellent customer service. I was having a difficult time due to some personal losses and she made me feel comfortable and guided me to the right choice. I will be a customer for life simply from an act of kindness and understanding. As a business owner I know employees such as Mary are hard to find.

The process of was the unit was quick. Reserving the space was easy because Mary Rose made sure to work around my busy schedule. She was incredibly helpful even when I just dropped in two weeks before my reservation expired. Mary Rose gave me a tour of the place that was thorough and the paperwork was a breeze. The entire process was phenomenal.
