Took 4x4 to Hooze for a check up. They saw one leaky front seal and recommended that I replace both front axles (rust at the seal interface supposedly). They also pointed out some dried blue residue on the radiator and recommended a new radiator (supposedly it was leaking). I skipped the radiator replacement because the antifreeze was not low and it is green in color so I thought the residue they were pointing out was just spilled washer fluid. I did have them replace the seals and the finally agreed to the axles as well. The axle that they put in on the side that did not leak was 3" too short and did not engage the differential! I got stuck because now my 4 wheel drive did not work at all and had to be towed while on a hunting trip out of 3" of mud in a field... very embarrassing for an F350 that I just spent a bunch of money on to tune up the 4 wheel drive. Then, instead of realizing that they put in the wrong axle, they blamed the auto hubs and convinced me to have them replaced with manual hubs even though everything worked before I brought it to them originally. I reluctantly agreed with no other option and the 4 wheel drive still did not work - finally they figured out that the wrong axle was put in originally. So much for being 4x4 experts. They dont know when an axle is not even long enough to fit into the eifferential and they do not know how auto hubs work either. So now, I have parts that I never needed (Axles and manual hubs) - I lost a ton of money based on horrible advice from the Hooze mechanic and have a 4x4 system that still does not seem to work as well as before I brought it to Hooze. Not to mention what else got messed up because of the wrong axle spinning around in there for a hundred miles. And 4 years later - my radiator is still fine! Lesson - if nothing is wrong, dont let Hooze "fix" it. I do not recommend.

Today was my third opportunity to have my truck serviced at Hooze and they exceeded my expectations. I worked with Dave, who had an opportunity, if he were so inclined to do so - could have taken advantage of an unknowning customer. I would not been the wiser and probably still wrote a positive review. The cause of my check engine light was due to a leaky gas cap..Go figure. I think I may have finally, after many years of searching, found my service shop that I feel is honest and most of all competent. Thanks again Dave, great job.

This company was willing to put on another companies tired and even with problems worked with me for corrective procedures. In the end found out the original company sold me faulty tires. They were able to get me the right tire to fix my issue. STAY LOCAL! They go above and beyond and without them we have nothing to protect us. Buy from them pay the $20.00 difference for tires and save your self a hell of a head ache. THANK YOU SO SO MUCH! YOU ROCK

Hooze 4x4 repaired a "very" expensive tire on my Jeep Wrangler that others deemed un-repairable. They fixed my tire, although with no guarantee. At least they gave it a shot. 2 weeks and still holding air. I have been looking for an auto repair shop in my area for some time now. The people at Hooze 4x4 were very pleasant and knowledgeable and I would not hesitate to bring my vehicles to them for my next service or issue.

I cant say enough good things about this company! I took my car in for one issue and they noticed my steering was loose. They not only found the problem but went out of their way to talk to the dealer that did the original work and spent a lot of time trying to get the dealer to understand that what they found was not something that can just happen. I highly recommend going here and Dave is the best!

I love coming here to get my Amsoil for my Civic Si. They are very kind and remember who I am everytime I come in. The woman working the counter (I forgot her name!) Is who I deal with each time and shes a blast. Ive not had work done so I cannot speak to that service. But based on my experience to this point the, Im lead to believe they would do a great job.
