I had taken my truck there to get an alignment and the tires rotated and they said it would take about 45 minutes to an hour before they could get my car up on a lift and about an hour for the job. I said thats fine and gave them the key. Right away they were able to get my car into the lift and just left it there. It was literally sitting there with only one more car in the shop with 3 employees standing behind the truck simply cracking jokes and talking for about half an hour After that they finally lifted up the truck and let it sit there again for about another half hour while there were employees running around the store back and forth. An employee finally approached me and said that there is a bump in one of the tires which will potentially go bad after a while and recommended it be replaced sooner or later and also informed me that there was a nail in one of the tires. I agreed to have the nail damage repaired but the tire will be replaced later on. From then I waited another hour and this here is after 1 hours of waiting already. The car was barely touched and finally I see someone taking off the wheels. After about half an hour I see them drop the car back down and someone takes it for a test drive. He comes back and after about 15 minutes I see someone else take it out. I wait for about 20 minutes and he finally comes back and parks my car outside. I waited inside for another 15-20 minutes before an employee came in and rung me out without even saying thanks or have a good day. Overall I spent over 3 hours for an alignment, tire rotation, and tire repair when I was quoted 45 minutes to an hour. The store was not overly busy, there were no scheduled appointments as every customer after me was a walk in. I understand there was the new issue with the tire repair but that doesnt equate to two hours of waiting additionally with two test drives which took a good 40 minutes as well. Overall not satisfied with the service I was provided and not planning to get serviced at this location again.

I have been to this location numerous times for oil changes on both my vehicles. They accept competitors coupons and it seems like someone always has one out there, but it is nice to always go to the same place and still get a great deal. I recently had extensive work done on my vehicle here. They replaced the brakes (pads and rotors), u-joints, tires, wheel cylinders, tie rod, stabilizer, A/C check, and oil change. They were able to save me a few hundred dollars vs. a different shop that had been recommended. They completed all of the work well and in one day. The reason for only 3 stars vs what would have been 5 is what happened next. I drove the car home and immediately noticed a shaking when I applied the brakes. A few minutes of research told me that this was almost certainly a brake issue. They had test driven the car before returning it to me so I dont know how this wasnt caught. I brought it back in and sat for 2.5 hours while they replace the brand new front rotors to try to fix the problem. It did not fix it, at which point they realized it was the rear brakes. When they replaced the rear cylinders they didnt work well with the worn out shoes and drums and those needed to be replaced as well. Again, I dont know why they didnt notice this and recommend a full rear brake job when they replaced the cylinders. I had to bring the vehicle back in the next day because it was now closing time. It is all fixed now and working running great and it was done for a good price. However, I feel that the follow up issue should never have happened and would have been easily caught by most shops. I will go here again for oil changes, brakes, or tires, but would not rely on them to diagnose an issue and may think twice before doing more major repairs here.

Made an appointment a week in advance to have truck looked at for cooling system problem Made appointment for 8 am saturday morning. Made arrangements to get a ride home from tires plus when dropping off truck. Arrived at Tires Plus on time. We were told we would get a call in about 45 mns with report on what was found. THREE hours later no call. I called them for 20mn. line was busy the entire time. Drove back to tires plus. Truck had not even been moved or looked at. Asked why no phone call. Told phones down because of storm the night before. Asked why one of them couldnt use a personal cell phone to at least give us a call. Parking lot was jammed with cars. They told us they havent even got a chance to look at truck yet. Asked what is point of appointment if you are going to take walk ins first? They stated they would do it another time for no charge. told them that is not point. they screwed up our whole day with their lack of service. We have 4 cars that we have taken to the White Bear Lake, MN tires plus for over 3 years. We have spent alot of money there. NO MORE. There is just too much competition in the market for this kind of shabby service. We will be going elsewhere. Probably Tousley Ford. At least they take responsibility for their service mess ups. TIRES PLUS WHITE BEAR LAKEMN just lost a good customer. All they had to do was think outside the box a little bit and pick up one of their cell phones and give us a call.

I took my vehicle into tires plus on a Sunday because it was convienent to have the repairs done on a weekend, what a mistake! After waiting for 4 hours I was finally told that my 2004 Chevy needed new breaks, rotors, calipers, full break fluid flush, a new tire, and the rear drums were locked up and could not be investigated without breaking them, for all of this service I was qouted a price of $550. My tire only had a slow leak so I asked that he remount the tire for now, the Tireplus rep told me that they would not remount the tire because it was unsafe and against the law.. I demanded they put my vehicle back together and I left. Today I took it in to Polar Chevrolet who repaired the breaking system which did not require calipers or flushing AND tire for less than 1/2 the cost and all in under 2 hours. Tires plus is a scam, the entire time I waited for my repairs not one single customer had thier services completed without Sean trying to upsell them on whatever it was they were needing + extras that in my experiance were not even needed.

Had a coupon for a synthetic blend oil change so I decided to give them a shot. Brought in my 12 Toyota corolla and the front desk salesman told me that this car could only take full synthetic, which of course is like $60, minimum. The guy was literally arguing with me. I was so frustrated that I went out and got my owners manual, found the oil info, and went back into the store. "Here ya go dude, read." Dont you think 1 mechanic would have mentioned the full synthetic thing over the last 2 years of oil changes? Yeah, thats because YOURE WRONG, admit it. Not only does it not need to be full synthetic, it doesnt even need to be a blend. He said OK and asked if I still wanted the oil change. I used my coupon for $17 synthetic, which is a steal and they must have lost money. They then tried to tell me a bunch of other stuff was broken and I just said thats OK, Im not coming here again, and walked out. DONT USE THIS PLACE FOR ANYTHING!
