These guys like to quote you a price on the phone then charge you a higher price after the service was done. For example. I took a trailer tire in for a valve stem replacement. Was told $7.50 on the phone if I bring in my own stem. They tried to charge me $10 out the door. Also, they put lug bolts on way beyond their required torque specifications. I could not remove them with a 700 ft/lb impact wrench when I went to do my brakes! I took it in and they tried to blame it on rust. It took breaker bar to get them off. Its funny that I never have a rust problem when I put my own lug bolts on using a torque wrench. Make sure you tell them to use a torque wrench and watch that they do it or they will just use the impact driver and put them on way too tight. They also charged me twice for an alignment that was done only once because they said I had to have the tie rod replaced first. I asked why I was charge twice since the first time they could not do it without the new tie rod. They said they had to roll out the alignment machine twice. Dont expect any freebies from these guys.

DO NOT COME to this place. We used to change oils and do regular maintenance there for more than 10 years and were happy for the services. BUT, several years ago looked like the ownership/management was changed and new faces there. They charge you more every time. Have not been there for 3 or 4 years. Thought to try it again and see if any changes, but still the same. Called before sent car in and told exactly what need to do and cars year and model, and asked for the cost. After the work was done they charged more, just added on this and that reasons. They just want to charge you more. Thats it. Talked to some neighbors, all have similar stories. Never come to this place again.

I just started working down the road from here and needed somewhere to get new brakes while avoiding taking days off of work. I dropped off my car with them this morning and they not only replaced my brakes in a timely and cost-effective manner, but found a nail in my rear passenger side tire and patched that for me as well. The communication was top notch as was the service and the overall experience. Ill certainly be bringing my vehicle back to these nice folks for my future service needs.

Just be careful, these guys managed to get my wife to pay nearly $500 to replace an alignment bolt under the guise of promising to do it as cheaply as possible. After checking with my mechanic, this work would have been less than half the cost there whether it was an easy replacement or tougher job. Dont take my word for it, but please do get a second quote. Just because these guys put your tires on doesnt mean you should trust them with any additional work.

Been coming here for years after I brought an old BMW in for a 2nd opinion on what I thought would be a very costly repair. Turns out, it was something much less severe. Saved me $100s. Huge peace of mind knowing theyre only going to suggest fixing what NEEDS to be fixed while also pointing out things that are about to break and lead to costlier repairs. Ive never had a car in there twice for the same issue.

The job always gets done right, but definitely not the cheapest in town. Make sure you know what your car needs BEFORE going in otherwise youll get overcharged. I had a squeaky belt and ended up replacing an exhaust system which didnt solve the problem. Valvoline replaced the culprit belt for over $50 cheaper than Plymouth Tire and Auto. Been burned too many times here, going elsewhere.

Plymouth Goodyear has been a GREAT place to have care for our vehicles - 10+ years we have been getting service here. I highly recommend their services, but also the way they are willing to go the extra mile of explaining what it happening with my car and what is a necessary repair and what can wait. Fantastic service! My car died in the gas station parking lot and Plymouth Tire & Auto pushed it into their garage, gave me an estimate, and were completely genuine and polite when I had it towed somewhere else to have it fixed under warranty. Ive gone back there for everything since - tires, oil change, etc. Highly recommend to anyone who is skeptical on car maintenance places!

Ive been coming here for over 15 years. They are always honest about whether I need work or not, and will tell me what can wait and what cant. They are human and do make mistakes, but I find if you take the time to discuss an issue, they always find a solution. If I dont have a warranty, this is the only shop I use.
