I hardly ever write reviews but this place deserves the effort. Read the other reviews and stay away. Ive gone here a few times and have never been treated so poorly. The front desk staff is slow, loud and rude. I asked for a full synthetic oil change with a road trip package they offer. I confirmed 3 times my desires. The paperwork I got at the end indicated basic oil. The staff was upset that I kept confirming the services I received. I was still not convinced I got the right oil so I called the next day to confirm what oil I got. The associate said he was sorry that I got standard oil. I made an appointment to get the oil changed but requested not to have to deal with the same staffer that confirmed twice I got synthetic oil. I arrived at the new appointment and the same staffer was there with no one else available to assist me. He became argumentative saying they have it in their computer that I got the right oil. Some one wasnt being honest at Honest-1. I requested he have a manager call me. A week later and no call, so I called. The manager promised to check the paper logs and call back (which he did promptly). This is where bad things got worse. The manager told me I was over reacting and that the correct oil was used. I got no valid response when I asked why then was the paperwork and the called associate saying that I got standard oil. I pointed out the dishonesty and immediately the manager screamed over the phone that he has been in the industry for decades and that I was rude for questioning him. I mentioned that my local co-workers have had similar issues and that Id ensure this experience would be shared with all who will listen. He ended the call by saying "good, I dont want your business and I hope you never come back. In fact, I may come visit you at your job to chat about this." I will never return to the shop that has a great sign in their lobby that they dont follow. Very disappointing! Note: Ive waited a few weeks to post this in case I heard an apology or anything further but alas nothing. I also take issue with their neighborhood solicitation but thats another story...

I have yet to walk out of this place without spending less than $1000. Every experience of them "fixing" something has lead to just more repairs and more money. My first experience was actually really great, but expensive which was expected. The week after I was there my car started experiencing problems with the traction control. I took it back and was told my problems were being caused by a bad wheel bearing. I found a place to replace the wheel bearing and do some recommended fluid flushes for 2/3 the cost of Honest-1. However, my problems did not go away. Because they were convenient, I went back to Honest-1 and was then told I needed a new power steering pump and serpentine belt. Not only did my traction control problems not go away, but my once super quiet car became loud and annoying. I brought it back a week later very frustrated that the "fixes" they did actually made my car worse. There was also a large fluid leak. I was told the noises my car was making were "normal" and that they couldnt find the source of my fluid leak, however they never checked the levels of any of my fluids. The manager working that night even had the nerve to ask me if I was just slipping on some rock that would activate my traction control. As if that would happen every single time I braked, turned a corner, or pulled out of a parking spot! I was so offended. I took my car somewhere else to get an oil change and when the fluid levels were checked they discovered the power steering fluid was nearly gone and filled it up. Magically the "normal" noises went away! However, the leak was still there and so those noises came back. The only reason I returned to Honest-1 to get the leak fixed is because of their warranty. However, I will not go back for new work...ever. If youre getting something other than an oil change done, I would recommend getting a second opinion before getting anything done there!

UPDATE! See below for my first review about them. It gets worse! My sons car wouldnt start the other morning when it was -5. My ex had it towed to them. They said it needed over $800 worth of work to get it going and that they couldnt start it. Its an older car so I said we would just have it towed home and work on it ourselves. While waiting for the tow truck my son decided to try and start it. It started right up! It had been sitting in around zero degree weather for over 24 hours and started right up! We let it warm up and drove it home. Turns out it stalled out on him because he didnt let it warm up enough and then flooded it after it stalled. They wanted to replace the battery (yes the same one that started the car after sitting for 24 hours with temps around zero!) and a couple of starter switches that it clearly did not need. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! DO NOT LET YOUR ROAD SIDE ASSISTANCE BRING YOUR CAR HERE! They WILL screw you over, they are in a highly populated area and clearly do not care about building any kind of a relationship with their customer, they want to extort as much money as they can get by with and move on to the next sucker. From over a year ago.... I dont know who is giving these buffoons 5 stars, but I think it must be the people that work there. They tell you that things need to be fixed that are not broken. This place is a total 1970 scam shop. My case in point. Paid $1500 for repairs (that were really needed). As part of it they told me they replaced all my belts, and the invoice reflects they charged me for it. Within a week I had to pay another shop to remove the old belts from the various pullies and such as they never replaced it and the old one they left on there failed. Once bitten, twice shy. I will NEVER EVER go to this chain again. Rip me off once, shame on you, rip me off twice, it is not going to happen.

This place is not worth the 1 star I was forced to give it. Crooks is the only way I can describe this company. Stay away! I have never written a review for any place before but I felt I needed to share my experience. I went in for an oil change 2 weeks ago, with my vehicle working fine, just needed the standard oil change based on mileage. Prior to taking my vehicle in, I had not had any issues with the vehicle. While I was there, the representative came out from the back shop and told me I had a small oil leak in my engine. He said it wasnt a big leak at all, and didnt need to be addressed at the moment. I had never smelt burning oil or had any spots of an oil leak on my driveway prior to this. Instantly after leaving the shop I smelled burning oil, and started to notice spots on my driveway so I paid attention to the oil level and topped it off when it was needed. The other night, I was driving home from work when a loud ticking noise started and my oil pressure began to drop. The following day, I took the vehicle to a different mechanic to take a look at the issue. This mechanic quickly asked me if I had an oil change recently. He told me that whoever performed my oil change, did not put the oil filter on all of the way and left this filter loose. He said there was not an oil leak anywhere and this was simply a mechanic looking to get additional work and money down the road. He also mentioned that this may have caused serious damage due to the lack of oil after significant oil loss caused by the "oil leak." If any issues occur to my car in the near future, you can bet I will be taking further action against this company. They should not get away with this type of service. I really hope anyone considering this company looks elsewhere for their service.
