To make a very long story short, I recd a "professional" diagnostic from Bobby & Steves in EP, and had taken my car to Mark @ Certified Auto after receiving their estimate based on the diagnostic from Bobby & Steves. Over the course of time that my car was at Certified Auto, they found that the diagnostic recd from Bobby & Steves was incorrect and they were very concerned that I had just spent well over $1000 on repairs that were completely unnecessary. They bent over backwards to find the real issue, which turned out to be a recall! They were honest and forthcoming and I believe wholeheartedly had the other place done the work, I would never have found out that the issue was a recall! Mark, Rory, Dave and the others at Certified Auto have completely gained my trust and I will never take my car to anyone else from here on out! They come HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

brought in utility trailer in because a left rear light was not working and because brake lights on both sides were not working. They discovered it was not the trailer that was broken but the electrical relays in my truck that were not working properly. They had to order some hard-to-find parts for the truck, but got them in. They were prompt, courteous, and within their estimate. Also, got my oil changed there. They were prompt and professional. Great experience.

Make sure you know what the issue is with your car before you bring it to Certified Auto. I asked them to balance my tires and/or align the front end. They balanced the tires and that took care of the problem. After that, they then "informed" me of several issues and recommended a variety of repairs that added up to a lot of money. I declined their offer, and took my car to a trusted mechanic who advised me that none of the work reccommended was needed.

In general, I rate Certified Auto Repair with 5 Stars and I will recommend it to all my neighbors and family. Would recommend it to anyone who lives in the west greater Minneapolis area. Great experiences with them. Ive had several major repairs done to both my cars, both of them are European Imports, and the job the performed was just excellent. Their overall customer service was great.

The staff at this particular location is a very realistic bunch. They know what they are talking about and wont push you into making a repair you dont need. Worthy to note that they are the most capable shops in a large radius as well. I came to them with a engine that couldnt get me home. They quickly provided a set of reasonable options and undercharged for the time they put in.

I was looking into buying a used car, so I brought it in to Certified Auto Repair. They got it in to be looked at on the spot. They told me that the head gasket was blown and that it would be more expensive to fix it than it would be worth. This saved me a large amount of time and money. They were very nice and courteous, and it was a great atmosphere. I would recommend them to anyone!

Ive been taking all my cars to Certified Auto for about 4 years now. I just cant say enough nice things about them. They do whatever they can to keep your bill down and get you back on the road as quick as they can. They are honest and professional, and I would never take my vehicles any place else. This auto shop is the best there is. We always trust their judgment, and know they will give us good advice on our cars. The service is always prompt, there is a warm, awesome area to wait for the car. But the best part is the polite and gracious way they greet us. Mark, the owner, is one NICE GUY.
